2 Years Operational Spares: Itemized Price list based on Supplier recommendation to be provided with BID. Price list so provided shall have price validity period of 1 year and extended for 2 years with price escalation. This shall as a minimum include the items listed in AE-S-3711 (enclosed as part of attachments to this requisition) for Controlled volume pumps and Mixers / Agitators. Any document listed in this requisition/cross referenced, if not available to bidder shall be requested by bidder.

3.

Sub suppliers for all major bought-out items shall be as per attached Approved Vendor list (Annexure-5) only. In case of any conflict/ inconsistency among various documents attached/referred, following order of precedence shall govern: a) Mechanical Datasheet / This Requisition. b) Job Specification for Rotating Equipment Doc. # B034-000-80-43-SP-0002. c) Standard Specifications for Dosing package (6-41-0301), Positive displacement pumps – Controlled Volume (6-41-0021) and Mechanical Agitators (6-26-0001). d) All other specifications. e) Referred codes and standards.

4. It shall be the responsibility of the SUPPLIER to also comply with the requirements of the statutory rules (i.e. city, state, national, provincial, etc. codes or ordinances), which will apply in the location where the item is to be installed. In case of conflict between statutory requirements and this requisition, more stringent requirements shall govern. However, any conflict / discrepancy noticed by Supplier in the above mentioned documents shall be submitted to Contractor for approval and Contractor decision shall be final without any commercial Implication to Contractor.

A. ENGINEERING NOTES PERFORMANCE & MECHANICAL GUARANTEE: SUPPLIER shall be fully responsible for all equipment supplied by him including bought out items. All equipment shall be fully guaranteed for damage free operation, performance, mechanical design, material selection for service, workmanship for the complete unit during its service life. 5.

SUPPLIER shall guarantee the following: a. Performance of the pump within the tolerances stated in API 675 / project specification b. Pulsation in discharge line within +/-3% of mean line pressure c. Steady state flow accuracy within +/- 1% of mean delivered flow at actual set point over the turndown ratio d. Linearity and repeatability across the turndown as per API 675 e. Noise levels for complete unit as per data sheet and this requisition. MECHANICAL (Only few salient points are listed here. Supplier is expected to review all attached specifications / documents and prepare their offer accordingly)

6.

Package shall be designed for a minimum life of 20 years, under the specified service conditions.

7.

Package noise level shall not exceed 85 dBA when measured at One-meter distance from the skid in any direction. Acoustic hoods shall not be used for any equipment.

8.

Package shall be designed as per Package data sheet, P&ID, UOP specification 5-13-9, Standard specification for Dosing Package (6-41-0301), Job Specification for Rotating equipment (B034-000-80-43SP-0002) and all other specifications attached with this requisition. In case of any deviation to this requisition or its attachments, Bidder to submit the same in the format enclosed as Annexure-4 and submit for Contractor and PMC approval.

9.

For Equipment Qualification criteria, Refer Cl.4.0 of 6-41-0301 for Dosing package, Cl. 1.7 of 6-41-0021 for Dosing pumps and Cl.2.1.2 of 6-26-0001 for Agitators

10.

Vessels / tanks shall comply with relevant code / design standard specified in data sheet and all the standard drawings / specifications / attachments as enclosed with this requisition. Rules for bottom plate design for flat bottom atmospheric Vessel /tank. i. Allowable stress in bending shall be 0.66 x yield stress at design temperature

ii. Allowable deflection of plate shall be limited to T/2 where T is corroded thickness of plate. iii. Stiffeners shall be designed such that deflection is limited to L/325 where L is span of the stiffener. Contribution of plate if considered shall be limited to 16T on either side of stiffener where T is corroded thickness of plate. Stiffeners shall be designed / placed in such a way that process flow is not obstructed & necessary access is available for Inspection & maintenance

Antivortex-baffles if required in the dosing tank shall be provided by Supplier to ensure proper mixing.

13.

Piping within skid shall comply with Piping Material Specification B034-6-44-0005-7200 and Valves shall comply with Valve material specification B034-6-44-0006-7200 and other Piping specifications as listed in Section C of this requisition.

14.

Dosing pumps shall be suitable for trouble free operation over the full turndown range specified in the mechanical datasheets of pumps.

A. ENGINEERING NOTES 15.

Supplier shall provide suitable arrangement for supporting the agitator shaft with impellers during removal of gear box for maintenance and details of such arrangement shall be furnished.

16.

All coupling and exposed rotating parts shall be provided with suitable guards of non-sparking type.

17.

Removable coupling guard shall be provided which shall be fabricated from non-sparking material, and shall be open at the bottom to permit manual shaft rotation. The guard shall be sufficiently rigid to withstand deflections as a result of bodily contact of nominally 100 kg. Coupling guard shall also have a hinge to open and see the healthiness of the coupling shims from top.

18.

Local Push Button Station for Motors shall be provided by Contractor. Supplier to provide sufficient space at skid edge and suitable arrangement for installation of the same by Contractor.

19.

Headroom clearance for the rain guard supplied for TSP dosing skid (MN-LZ-33) shall be minimum 2.2 m from the maintenance platform on the skid.

20.

When “safe height” is indicated either in process data sheet or P&ID, the bidder shall route the vent piping to minimum 3 meters above the highest platform on the skid. Vent piping should be designed as self-supporting, without any external structural support.

21.

Platform gratings, handrails, ladders, steps, other structural items etc. shall conform to the applicable Structural specifications and drawings attached with requisition.

22.

Supplier to ensure sufficient operation and maintenance space is available within skid. As a minimum, Supplier shall comply with Piping design basis A870-999-16-43-EDB-1001 for ensuring the space availability.

23.

Purchaser tie in points (drains, Vents etc.) shall be minimized by combining lines in similar service.

24.

Supplier to provide first support from Tie in point as partial anchor (3 way stop with zero gap) within 500 mm from the tie in point.

25.

Stress analysis of Piping, support design and supporting for all lines within the packaged skid are in Supplier scope of supply.

Allowable loads at tie in flange shall be as per Appendix 1 of standard nozzle load table Doc. no. PEC-ENSTN-L-377. Accordingly, the first support from tie-ins shall be designed

Inspection methodology shall be as per C-1.11 B034-9-1842-100, Inspection category B. All spares supplied by bidder shall be properly wrapped and packed so that spares will be preserved in as new condition under the normal condition of storage envisaged and shall be properly tagged & coded so that at a later stage the same can be identified. Packing list shall be furnished so that parts can be identified without uncrating. Owner has a requirement to populate the equipment data in their Meridium formats which are in excel format. Applicable formats are attached as part of Annexure-8. Bidder shall fill – in the data after code-1 approval of drawings and submit to PIUL for approval during Post order stage.

A. ENGINEERING NOTES Equipment up to dimensions of 12 Mtrs. (L) x 3 Mtrs. (W) x 3 Mtrs. (H) inclusive of all Nozzle & Saddle Projections & height & weight upto 32 MT can be transported from anywhere in India by Road to BPCL Refinery on Mechanical Trailers. 30. Equipment up to dimensions of above 12 mtrs. upto 25 Mtrs. (L) x above 3 mtrs. Upto 5.5 Mtrs. (W) x 4.5 Mtrs. (H) inclusive of all Nozzle & Saddle Projections & height & weight upto 110 MT can be transported from anywhere in India by Road to BPCL Refinery on Hydraulic Axle Trailers ELECTRICAL: 31.

MV motors shall be as per EIL Standard Specification 6-51-0064 and datasheet for MV motors attached

32.

Electric motor design temperature (IS-9676) shall be 45 deg C. Electric motor shall be suitable for relative humidity of 95% at 45 DEG C.

33.

Power supply for MV electric motor (0.18 kW to 160 kW) shall be 415 V +/-6%, 50 Hz+/-3%

34.

Motor less than 0.18 kW shall be suitable for power supply of 240 V AC.

35.

Motors shall be totally enclosed, fan cooled type and suitable for continuous use. Motors shall be with continuous maximum rated. DOL start MV motors shall be suitable for starting under specified load conditions with 75% of the rated voltage at the terminals

36.

Motors installed outdoors shall have GI canopy for additional weather protection

37.

Motors shall be IP55 protected. Insulation class for Motors shall be Class F with temperature rise limited to Class B

Starting current for MV motors shall be 600-700%+IS Tolerance

All MV motors suitable for installation in Hazardous area shall be energy efficient IE2 type as per IS 12615:2011. Earthing: 1. All motors shall have provision for double earthing. 2. Supplier to provide G.I earth plates for the pump motor skid. Further earthing of all equipment’s within the skid like motors, instruments, analyzers, junction boxes, local panels etc. shall be by Supplier. 3. All earth plates shall have provision for inter connection to owner’s main earth grid at two points. 4. Earth plate provided by Supplier shall be of 400x75x10mm size and shall be provided with 10 dia holes for 8mm dia bolts.

41.

The internal connections within the main terminal box shall be copper and of sufficient size, strength, and configuration to enable a solid connection of the supply cables without excessive stress on the conductors.

42.

All motors shall be provided and transported with IP-55 metallic blocking plugs (non- flameproof) fitted for all cable entries of motor (i.e. power, space heater, RTD/ BTD, etc.) to prevent ingress of water during transportation/ storage

43.

Supplier to do plastic wrapping of all electrical equipment for shipping from works to site. In general, all electrical equipment shall be suitable for Exde, Zone 2, IIB, T3.

44.

The following statutory approval certificates shall be submitted for all field equipment to be installed in hazardous areas. i)

Supplier shall ensure the availability of spare parts and maintenance support services for the offered equipment at least for 15 years from the date of supply. Supplier/ sub-Supplier shall give a notice of at least one year to the end user of equipment and EIL before phasing out the products/spares to enable the end user for placement of order for spares and services All routine and acceptance tests as specified by the applicable standards shall be carried out by the Supplier. Any other test and quality assurance requirements as defined elsewhere in the package shall also be complied. INSTRUMENTATION:
