The objective of this report is to track the progress of 2G rollout worst cell During the previous weeks, many problematic and lowperformance cells were monitored and investigate. The problematic cells were extracted on weekly basis, analysed and then the necessary actions were taken, which in turn improved the statistical performance , as can be seen below
HO failure: Make the HO difficult By increasing INTERCELLHYST or MINOFFSET INTERCELLHYST : Inter-cell HO Hysteresis (when we have HO Failure due to Bad Quality) MINOFFSET: Minimum receive level offset. An MS can be handed over to a neighbouring cell only when the downlink level of the neighbouring cell is greater than the sum of "Min DL level on candidate Cell" and the value of this parameter. the cell 8724C was suffer from high HO Failure with 7430C
After increase INTERCELLHYST and MINOFFSET HO failure is decrease
the HOSR and Drop are improved in 8724C
Move Traffic to Underlaid
Because the Overlaid is suffer from high drop It recommended to move the traffic to Underlaid By changing these parameters UtoO HO Received Level Threshold from 25 to 38 OtoU HO Received Level Threshold from 20 to 25
The Drop is decrease
