1. SCOPE This Inspection and Test Plan describes CONTRACTOR’s/ADCO’s planned inspection activities and the corresponding inspection points including the type and extent of involvement by CONTRACTOR/ADCO or their designated representative(s) for each inspection item and other involvement of third party inspectors and certifying authorities for each inspection item description. This inspection and test plan shall not substitute for the SUPPLIER’s or SUB-SUPPLIERS’ Quality Control Plans or Inspection & Test Plans, which has to be developed starting from the present format. 2.

Hold Point The SUPPLIER and its SUB-SUPPLIERS cannot carry out and proceed beyond the specified inspections and tests without the marked representative’s attendance, except where authorized in writing by CONTRACTOR and ADCO for ADCO Hold points. The SUPPLIER shall notify CON by fax or email of the inspection activity (Hold Points) at least Fifteen (15) days in advance.

Witness point The SUPPLIER shall notify CON of the Witness Point inspection activity scheduled at least Fifteen (15) days in advance. SUPPLIER may proceed with the Witness point inspection activity in accordance with the notification schedule if CO/CON does not elect to be present, provided inspection and test records are made available to CO/CON for review.

Review Point – Review of Documents  Review of documents needed for production. Corresponding production shall not proceed until said documents are reviewed and approved, where required.  Review of records for verifying that the requirements have been met and approval of such records, where required.  Inspection and test records shall be available for CO/CON review.

Monitor Point Random or regular interval inspections to assure and verify that the requirements are met by the SUPPLIER. Random inspections are normally performed on first operation and at intervals commensurate with the production activity.

Approval from ADCO Spot Witness The SUPPLIER shall notify CON of the Spot Witness Point inspection activity scheduled at least Fifteen (15) days in advance. SUPPLIER may proceed with the Spot Witness point inspection activity in accordance with the notification schedule if CO/CON does not elect to be present, provided inspection and test records are made available to CO/CON for review

3. SUPPLIER’S QUALITY CONTROL PLAN (SQCP)

 

The Supplier shall issue a Quality Control Plan for each equipment. The Supplier’s Quality Control Plan is a document which defines in a chronological manner the list of the operations of fabrication, inspections and tests in accordance with its own “know-how” and with the requirements specified in CON/CON’s requisition.

SHELL DEP are governing. In case of conflict among all applicable specifications/standards, the most stringent requirements shall be applied, with considering the order of precedence as listed in the relevant paragraph of present MR



ADCO has defined the Inspection Classes of the components of all Project Units, based on all applicable codes, standards and project specification by assignment of one “Criticality Quality level”.



The Criticality Rating “CR” is indicated in the material requisition and defines the class of inspection/test that will be applied to the item following codes, standards, project specification and procedures requirements. Here below is indicated the care required in definition of inspection and test related to CQ level to be insert in ITP.  CR1 most critical 

With considering the material certification in compliance to BS-EN-10204 as listed in the relevant paragraph of present MR

The SQCP shall include the inspection activities defined in this Inspection & Test Plan and as deemed necessary to meet the requirements as well as any inspection activities by other Independent Inspection Authorities. For equipment of inspection levels 1,2 and 3 the Supplier SQCP will have to be submitted compulsorily to TP for comments before the pre-inspection meeting (for Inspection Level 1 & 2) is held. For BS EN 10204 3.2 Certification (if any), the Vendor or Contractor Inspection Representative shall be agreed prior to placement of order by the Supplier


