B2H Solution Overview CPE WiF i RJ45 LSW
Video
• The Business to Home (B2H) is a low-cost Internet home wireless broadband access solution that boasts the same service experience as optical broadband. • This solution allows home terminals to directly access the wireless network through the Customer-Premises Equipment (CPE).

• The 19A version supports only Internet access services and Internet-based OTT videos, and voice services will be supported since 19B version. • Internet services are carried on the default bearer, and this bearer is a non-GBR bearer. • The 19A version supports only NSA networking, and the EPC in the LTE network functions as its core network.

Rate Guarantee for B2H Users • MBB services take precedence over B2H services in terms of scheduling. An insufficiency in air interface resources may cause the B2H user rate to be excessively low, affecting basic service experience. The uplink and downlink rate guarantee function can be used for B2H users. This function is implemented by setting the corresponding QCI parameters for B2H services. Preferred Minimum Bit Rate (PMBR)
• If the B2H user rate is lower than or equal to the PMBR, the gNodeB increases its scheduling priority to ensure the basic bandwidth for the B2H user. • If the B2H user rate is higher than the PMBR, the gNodeB restores its scheduling priority to preferentially ensure the bandwidth for the MBB user. • QCI planning is involved across the network, so QCIs are planned by the operator globally. • For most of operators, standardized QCIs (6, 7, 8, and 9) for non-GBR services can be used for B2H services. Copyright © 2018 Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. All rights reserved.
