Absence type for use in once in full tenure of company service This question is Assumed Answered. Hi Experts, I am in Implemenation for Saudi Arabia time and Payroll. There is a leave type called "HAJ LEAVE " for 07 days admissible for muslim employees . This leave is applicable only for one time in complete service. My Doubts are whether i need to create a Quota for this as it is only once and default 7 days max. How to create a check in system for not allowing the same absence type second time for an employee. Pl revert if handled the scenario. Regds Punit

Re: Absence type for use in once in full tenure of company service Hi, Having quota for Haj Leave is one option which can be used. For this you need to create quota of 7 days for all muslim employees in IT 2006 with validity and deduction end date as 31.12.9999. The other option it to use BAdI for IT 2001 which will check the religion of the employee and the availment of this leave type. If religion is muslim and leave is not availed then it will allow to save record other wise it will throw error. In this case the maximum cap of 7 days can be defined in the configuration for this leave type. VK

Re: Absence type for use in once in full tenure of company service hey just try this one... i did for a client there create absence quota haj leave with manual generation assign the same in hiring action with proper sub type so that it get generates only during hiring action....

Re: Absence type for use in once in full tenure of company service Hi Ram, Thanks yaar for quick response. Actually i have got this solved through a BADI as per suggestion by VK. Making it manual will be little cumbersome and more confusing as making it mandatory in Hiring action will appear for all the emlployee automatically and then also some check should be display to client. Ram how you have handled the GOSI issue. Same is applicable for me. Kindly suggest the possible solution Regds Punit
