For many people health is a confusing issue. There are so many differing opinions, diets and modalities; that after a while the very thought of it all is enough to leave you feeling less than well. If you are currently experiencing a health challenge, either personally or with someone you love; the most important thing that you can do, is to find out what is actually happening inside of your body. Find out how your body works, and why it doesn’t work; whatever the condition, find out how to care for your body, how to nourish your body and find out what the cause and remedy of the disease is. Unfortunately, until now, that information has been highly specialized, extremely complex and not generally available to the public. Understanding is the key to success. With understanding, you have options and are able to formulate a personal plan of action. Through understanding you are once more in the driving seat and are able to take on the responsibility of healing your body and your life. For most, the human body is a marvel of creation, and yet far too complex for the average person to understand. Indeed, our own body remains possibly the greatest mystery yet to be solved. We have systems, organs, processes, parts and countless ‘other’ attributes and qualities that give rise to science after science and yet we still do not seem to understand how or why it all works. We usually carry on regardless until a ‘wheel’ falls off and then seek out the services of a ‘professional’. Unfortunately, even the ‘professional’ (both orthodox and complementary) is unable to guarantee us the return to full health that we long for. As we age, we find it harder and harder to achieve our long lost youthful vigor and vitality. Very often when confronted with a health crisis we immediately feel more vulnerable and have to resign ourselves to an ‘inevitable’ foregone conclusion. It’s part of life’s process, one of life’s great certainties. We are told that we can survive for 3 weeks without food, 3 days without water and only 3 minutes without oxygen; and yet we don’t know why we die in 3 minutes without oxygen. Recently however, scientific as well as medical research has come to light that actually reveals the very reason why we need oxygen. Through this incredible research, we can now understand the underlying cause of all physical degeneration and what our bodies needs in order to keep them pain free and disease free for life. The very formula for the life and death process is now known! To understand this formula we need to come right back down to basics.

How does the Body Work? The Body Electric In 1962, it was scientifically revealed that the life processes, in all life forms, generate electrical fields. In other words, our bodies are electrical. Everything that happens in the body is electrical. Eyes see with electricity, the brain thinks with electricity, muscles work with electricity; the pancreas produces insulin with electricity, and so on and so on. So where does this electricity come from? What part of the body is capable of generating electricity? And how does it do it? Answering these questions is the key to discovering how your body actually works.

It’s in the Cells Your body is made up of 100 trillion cells. These cells make up every organ, gland, bone, muscle, tissue and fluid in your body. If your body shows signs of pain, degeneration, illness or disease in any part; then it is not the part, or system that is affected; it is the cells in the part or system that are affected. It is therefore vital to health that you understand how cells work. Remember, the life processes in the body generate electrical fields. Every life process takes place in the cells. Therefore cells must generate electrical fields. This means that every cell in your body is like a little battery. It is your cells that generate your electrical energy potential. For your body parts and systems to function perfectly, they must produce full power. Therefore, every battery must contribute its subtle electrical energy to the organ, gland, bone, muscle, tissue or fluid that it is a part of; in order for you to experience optimum functioning and perfect health. If any part of your body shows signs of loss of energy or deterioration, then it simply means that your batteries are going flat! You are running out of energy! The cause of all loss of energy, pain, degeneration, illness and disease and even death is quite simply a loss of frequency. In order to recharge your batteries and replenish your energy levels, you have to understand how they generate an electrical potential.

Turning Yourself On Every cell in your body is supplied with a blood capillary and a lymphatic capillary. The blood vessels deliver the ‘groceries’ to your cells, providing optimum nutrition, while the lymphatic vessels ‘do the dishes’, removing toxins and cellular build-up. For your cells to generate your electrical potential, they need two ingredients - oxygen and glucose.

Oxygen + Glucose

Oxygen is the most important ‘grocery’ that your body needs. You can survive 3 weeks without food, 3 days without water, but only 3 minutes without oxygen. So why is oxygen so important? Why do we die without oxygen? Oxygen is needed by every cell to convert glucose into a vital cell fuel or energy, known as Adenosine Triphosphate or ATP.

ATP is the energy that your cells need to maintain a very delicate balance of minerals in and around your cells. Potassium levels must be higher inside your cells, while sodium levels must be higher outside your cells. Sodium Na Potassium

It is this delicate balance of minerals that gives rise to your cell’s electrical potential.

If this delicate balance of minerals is altered in any way, you will lose your cellular energy potential. For your cells to produce their full energy potential, they need to receive maximum oxygenation, convert glucose into ATP and maintain this very delicate balance of minerals. How do your cells use ATP to maintain this vital balance?

Keeping the Balance 70% of your body is water. The cells in your body are mostly water. However, they are not little ‘water filled sacs’. You cannot squeeze the water out of healthy cells. In a healthy or Living State, your cells contain protein, lipids, potassium and water in a very particular structure. The molecules do not float freely in the water, but form a solid body; much like a jelly. The main structure or skeletal frame of the cell is made of protein. ATP energetically charges this protein frame, causing it to have a preference for bonding with potassium ions over sodium ions. This energised frame causes the water around the frame to become structured or layered; and this gives rise to the jelly. K

A simple analogy would be to think of the protein structure as iron nails and the water molecules and potassium ions as iron filings. When a magnetic current (ATP) is passed through the nails (protein frame), the iron filings (water and potassium) naturally form in an ordered manner around the nails. As long as your cells have ATP, the cellular protein frame will have a preference for potassium and your cells will be like little jellies. In this jelly-like, Living State, your cells have their full electrical potential. Each cell is essentially an electronic machine. So how does it actually produce electricity?

Turning on the Juice Every life process in your body, takes place in water. There are 2 oceans of water in your body, one inside of your cells and another that surrounds your cells. ATP maintains the water inside your cells, as a jelly; while the water outside your cells is maintained by salt. In every life process, water leaves the blood stream to deliver vital life giving nutrients to the cells. This water is rich in mineral ions, which are little charged particles and can be seen as little electrical driving forces. This water then passes into the cells, through the cell membrane. Every cell has a bi-layer membrane.

The bi-layer is separated and the space in between is used as a little ‘waterway’ for enzyme activity. Enzymes are responsible for all cellular activity and control all life processes. Within the cell membrane there are little protein pumps. These pumps control the movement of the mineral ions into and out of the cell. As water moves through the cell membrane, the movement of ions generates electricity.

This ‘hydroelectric’ power is the subtle electrical energy generated by the life processes that provides the power for every cell within every part of your body to function perfectly. As long as your cells are in a jelly-like Living, State, water flows through the cell and the pumps generate electricity. If you lose your cell ATP, the Living State is altered and your cells lose their ‘jelliness’.

When this happens, water leaks from the cell and the waterways between the cell membrane dry up. Without the ‘waterways’, enzyme activity is reduced and the pumps switch off. The cell loses its preference for potassium, sodium builds up inside the cell and the delicate mineral balance is altered. Once the jelly-like Living State is altered, the cells lose their electrical potential and you are no longer able to generate hydroelectric power. In short, your batteries ‘switch’ off. It is therefore absolutely essential that your cells produce ATP in order to keep the essential balance of minerals and maintain the jelly. In this jelly-like Living State, your cells are alive and can function perfectly. To produce ATP, your cells must receive optimum levels of oxygen. In order to do this they need to be in a very specific state.

Get into a State! In 1961, Dr. Arthur C. Guyton described the state that was necessary for cells to get optimum oxygenation. In order for cells to be in a jelly-like Living State, they must be in a ‘Dry State’. In the Dry State, a tiny blood capillary and a tiny lymphatic capillary tightly pack every cell; and there is only enough fluid to fill the crevices between the cells and that is all. Blood vessel

In the Dry State cells get optimum oxygenation, produce optimum levels of ATP and maintain the essential delicate balance of minerals needed to produce your full electrical energy potential. Your cellular Living State is maintained by the Dry State. In the Living, Dry State, there can be no loss of energy, no pain or degeneration, no illness or disease. In other words, you enjoy perfect health! If the Dry State is altered in any way, your cells will lose their potential and eventually ‘switch off’. This is experienced as a loss of energy, pain, symptoms of illness and degeneration, disease and ultimately death. The most important question you can ask is: “What alters the ‘Dry State’?”

Blood Protein Within the blood stream, there are blood proteins. Blood proteins are responsible for holding water in the blood stream and maintaining blood volume. 91% of your blood is water. To a certain degree, blood protein maintains blood pressure in the blood stream. In 1930, Dr Cecil K. Drinker of the Harvard Medical School suggested that blood protein leaks from the blood stream, practically universally. In 1948, Dr H.S. Mayerson of the Tulane School of Medicine tagged blood protein with radioactive iodine and proved that it does indeed leak from the blood stream. In fact, he found that in a 24-hour period, a staggering 50% of blood protein could leak from the blood vessels. In 1961, Dr Arthur C. Guyton, of the Mississippi School of Medicine, revealed that the only way to return blood protein to the blood stream is via the Lymphatic System. In his ‘Textbook of Medical Physiology’, he writes: “The retrieval of these blood proteins from the interstitial spaces by the Lymphatic System is an absolutely essential function; without which you would die within about 24 hours!”

If 50% of your blood protein is lost in a 24-hour period; and you can be dead in 24-hours if you do not retrieve that blood protein; then your obvious question must be … ‘What happens if I do not retrieve all of my lost blood protein?’ What happens if some of your blood protein gets left behind or trapped in between the cells? Blood protein holds water in the blood stream; therefore blood protein that remains in the spaces around the cells will also hold fluid. This build up of fluid will lead to an altering of the much-needed Dry State. This can be called the ‘Wet State’. Blood vessel Cell

From this we can deduce that the only thing that can alter the Dry State is – trapped blood protein. In the Wet State, there is a build up of blood protein and fluid around the cells and they are no longer tightly packed by the capillaries. This means that the cells do not get their optimum ‘grocery’ delivery. They do not get their vital nutrients and even more importantly, they will not be oxygenated.

No Oxygen The moment the Dry State is altered, your cells do not get optimum oxygen and without oxygen, their ability to produce optimum ATP is reduced. With oxygen, 1 molecule of glucose is converted into 36 molecules of ATP. Without oxygen, 1 molecule of glucose is converted into 2 molecules of ATP. Your cells need to produce energy. They need ATP to maintain the delicate balance of minerals and for your vital life processes. They will demand more sugar! However, when ATP is produced without oxygen, lactic acid is produced and this causes a build up of acidity in the cells and the degeneration process begins. In the absence of oxygen, glucose ferments. When the ‘Dry State is altered, fermenting glucose builds up with the trapped blood protein and excess fluid and becomes mucous. This provides a perfect breeding ground for bacteria, viruses and parasites, which thrive in an environment that is oxygen depleted and rich in fermenting glucose. Chinese doctors know that: ‘A mosquito does not create a stagnant pool of water – it is drawn to a stagnant pool of water.’ In this environment, you have the perfect breeding ground for infection and disease. Nobel prize winner, Otto Warburg discovered that when he withdrew oxygen from healthy cells, they became cancerous. He also noted that healthy cells meet their energy needs by respiration of oxygen; while cancer cells meet their energy needs in great part by fermentation. This paints a whole new picture of cancer. In this light, cancer cells are primarily oxygen deficient cells. If your cells are not able to produce optimum levels of ATP, they will not be able to maintain the delicate mineral balance necessary to produce your cellular electrical potential. In this scenario your cells will lose their potential, wear down and ‘switch off’!!! If the cells in your eyes ‘switch off’, your eyesight will begin to fail; if the cells in your pancreas ‘switch off’ you will get Diabetes; if the cells in your immune system ‘switch off’, you become prone to opportunistic infections. Any medically diagnosed label, whether chronic or acute, is simply an indication of where your cells are ‘switching off’. If your body does not have full power, you will not be able to experience perfect health and you will not function at your optimum energy potential.

Breaking the Law! Why does your lymphatic system not retrieve all of your lost blood protein? The only reason that any part of your body experiences reduced functioning is that it is unable to cope with your energy demands. This only occurs when you break the Natural Laws of Health. The Natural Laws of Health are: • Don’t argue, quarrel or fight • Don’t defile your body • Everybody must work In other words – • Don’t stress • Nourish your body • Use your body efficiently Simply put; these are the Laws of physical, emotional, mental and nutritional well-being. When you abide by these rules, your body will remain in the Dry State, and you will experience optimum health. Breaking any of these Laws increases your cellular workload, as you demand more energy to cope with the given situation. This results in a dilation of the blood capillaries, an increased loss of blood protein and poor lymphatic circulation. An increased loss of blood protein reduces the efficiency of the circulatory systems and increases the intercellular build up. This triggers the Wet State; the ‘groceries’ are not delivered and the cells are deprived of vital ingredients. Unable to produce optimum energy, they begin to ‘switch off’. The first signs that you have altered the Dry State are a loss of energy, thirst and pain. Due to a loss of energy and an increased intercellular build up, the lymphatic system becomes sluggish. When trapped blood proteins reduce the energy field produced by the cells, they stick together or cluster, which makes them very difficult to be removed by the Lymphatic System. However, Professor Friedrich M. Plog of the Max Planck Institute discovered that electricity dissipates clustered, trapped blood protein, making them retrievable by the Lymphatic System. The only way that your body can retrieve ‘lost’ blood protein, is through the Lymphatic System. To ensure perfect health, you must understand how your Lymphatic System works.

The Lymph The simplest analogy of your Lymphatic System is that of a tree.

The trunk lies in the chest

The roots go down to the feet

The lymphatic System is the purification system of the body ensuring that there is no build up between the spaces of the cells and maintaining the ‘Dry State’. The lymphatic vessels have one-way check valves that prevent the lymph from flowing backwards.

Lymph flows throughout your body, from the capillaries around the cells into larger vessels, into the nodes and finally into the ducts, where it returns to the blood stream.

Not only does your lymphatic system retrieve lost blood protein; it also removes damaged and worn out cells, metabolic waste, as well as cellular toxins and poisons. These are neutralized in the nodes, before the lymph is returned to the blood stream. Unlike your blood stream, your Lymphatic System does not have a specific pump that keeps the lymphatic fluid flowing. Instead, it relies upon 2 very efficient pump actions to maintain circulation.

The first is a muscular and skeletal pump. Simply put, every time that you move your body, the compression of your tissue forces the lymph to flow from one little chamber, through the one-way valve and into the next. Once the lymph is purified in the nodes, it flows through the ducts and is released back into the blood stream at the base of the throat. The ducts are the largest lymphatic vessels in your body. The main one is the Thoracic Duct, which is about the size of a straw and is found on the left side of your chest. This duct services the upper left side of your body (head, neck, arm and chest) as well as the whole of your lower body. The Right Lymphatic Duct is smaller, about 2cm long, and is found on the right side of the chest. This duct services the upper right side of your body. Unfortunately, contrary to what most believe, the muscular/skeletal pump action is not adequate enough to effectively pump the lymph from the Ducts back into the blood stream. You need to use your second pump action. This is a Thoracic pump. This means that every time you breathe deeply, your chest expands and the lymph is pumped out of the Ducts and back into the blood stream. The action of the second pump is absolutely essential. Without it, the lymph stagnates throughout your whole body. It is a sad fact, but nobody breathes efficiently! Everyone is moving their bodies to some degree, but very few people are breathing deeply. This means that while you are removing the build up from around your cells, you are not effectively releasing it via your ducts and back into your blood stream. Imagine constantly filling a syringe, but never emptying it.

As lymph builds throughout your body, your lymphatic vessels become sluggish and full; your nodes become overworked and you lose your ability to purify your lymph. Eventually your lymphatic system stagnates, becomes toxic and begins to seep out wherever it can.

Your lymphatic system is part of your immune system. If you are unable to neutralise toxins, poisons and other foreign bodies, your immune system will be compromised and you become vulnerable to opportunistic infections. The most common signs that your lymph is banking up are sinus congestion, postnasal drip, sore throats, colds and flu and skin eruptions. It is primarily through poor breathing habits that your lymph begins to build up throughout your body. You are constantly moving your lymph through muscular/skeletal activity, but you are not releasing it, because you do not breathe deeply.

Recap • Every cell in your body is an electrical generator. • To produce electricity, every cell must be in a jelly-like Living State. • Cells need oxygen to convert glucose into ATP. • ATP is the cell fuel that maintains the jelly-like Living State and the delicate mineral balance in and around your cells. • It is this delicate balance of minerals that gives rise to your electrical potential. • To get oxygen and remain healthy, cells must be in the Dry State. • Trapped blood protein pulls water out of the blood stream, altering the Dry State. • Breaking the Pure Laws of Health increases trapped blood protein. • Trapped blood protein reduces the energy field, causing the blood protein to cluster. • Clustered trapped blood protein is very difficult for the Lymphatic System to retrieve. • When the Dry State is altered, the jelly-like Living State is altered and the cells lose their electrical potential. • The cause of all loss of energy, pain, degeneration, illness and disease and ultimately death, is one and the same thing - Trapped Blood Protein; which alters the Dry State, reduces cellular energy and eventually ‘switches off’ the cells. The Formula for Life can be written as: No Trapped Blood Protein = Dry State = Full power = Health Conversely, the Formula for Death can be written as: Trapped Blood Protein = Wet State = No Power = Disease To ensure your full electrical energy potential and to enjoy perfect health, your cells must have oxygen to convert glucose into ATP. This will ensure the jelly-like Living State and optimum cellular electrical energy, which will provide every part of your body the power to work perfectly. Simply put: Oxygen = ATP = Electrical Energy = Power If your cells do not have ATP, then you will be oxygen deficient and energy deficient. This is primarily due to poor lymphatic circulation. Every form of degeneration and every illness known to man is quite simply due to energy deficiency.

Your Prime Needs In any health crisis, there are 3 primary needs that must be addressed in order to rapidly restore electrical potential. These are: • Energy - You need energy to jump start the cellular structure, uncluster the trapped blood protein and move the lymph in the target area • Oxygen - You need oxygen to restore cellular ATP and ‘switch on’ the jelly-like Living State • Lymph - You need lymph drainage in the target area and throughout the whole body, particularly in the Ducts Therapies that focus solely on energy, or oxygen, or lymph drainage work wonderfully … to a point. However, they fail to provide a full return to health, because they do not address the clustered trapped protein. Oxygen therapies do not necessarily get the oxygen to the target cells, if they are in a Wet State. Lymph drainage therapy does not necessarily remove the clustered blood protein build up and get oxygen to the cells. Energy therapy does not necessarily move the full body lymph or increase cellular oxygen. In order to ensure rapid restoration of the cell potential, all three principle needs must be met. Clustered blood protein must be dissipated with energy, lymphatic circulation must be increased and oxygen levels must be boosted. In short, the jelly-like, Living, Dry State must be restored.

Quick Start There are three simple ways to address your 3 principle needs. 1. Breathe 2. Bounce 3. Stroke

Breathe! As you now know, it is only through deep breathing, that you are able to release the lymph from the ducts into your bloodstream. It is absolutely essential that you begin practicing deep breathing. The simplest deep breathing rhythm is: … IN for a count of 7 … … HOLD for a count of 1 … … OUT for a count of 7 … … HOLD for a count of 1 … Practice this for 10 breaths at least 10 times a day. Breathing deeply not only encourages lymphatic flow; it also ensures that you get as much oxygen into your lungs as possible. Your blood flow rate through your lungs increases the more you fill your lungs. Shallow breathing uses only a third of your lung capacity and oxygenates about a tenth of a litre of blood every minute. Deep breathing, using your full lung capacity, will oxygenate 1.5 litres of blood every minute. To increase your cell’s ability to use the oxygen that you are breathing, you need energy. Scientific tests have now shown that energised air is better absorbed by the cells. By consciously connecting your breathing: IN following the OUT, following the IN, following the OUT; you draw in a steady stream of natural energy from the air. This is known as Prana. IN

Conscious connected breathing is the most natural and efficient way of breathing a steady supply of oxygen and energy into your body. It is as though you are literally plugged into Nature. Not only does energy increase the absorption of oxygen, it also moves the lymphatics. Coupled with the proven action of the Thoracic pump on the Lymphatic Ducts, breathing becomes the most natural way to oxygenate your body and move your lymph.

Using the Scientific understanding that energy follows thought; you are able to mentally direct this ‘breath’ energy to any part of your body. By imagining that you are ‘breathing’ into your area of symptom, the energy will follow your thought intention, break down the blood protein build up and move your lymphatics. By breathing deeply, you are able to fulfil all 3 of your body’s principle needs – • • •

Oxygen Energy Lymph

Bounce! Every child that learns to walk … wants to jump! One of the greatest health devices that you can buy is the mini-trampoline, also known as the lymphasizer.

Used with the correct understanding, you can address all of your principle needs. Keep both feet on the mat, as you gently bounce up and down. Every movement increases the flow of your lymph significantly. Every time you go down, your cells compress. Every time you come up, they relax. This increases your flow of lymph through the one-way check valves towards the ducts.

Add your deep breathing, to increase oxygenation and you have a very powerful technique. All you need is energy, in order to supply all 3 principle needs. When you move up and down through the magnetic field of the Earth, you turn your jumping into electrical energy. This ‘bio-energy’ builds in your body. Using your mind, you can direct this ‘bio-energy’, by simply thinking of your area in need. To focus on your liver; gently jump up and down, while breathing slowly and deeply and mentally repeat … liver … liver … liver

Instantly, energy will be directed by your mind to your liver. Blood protein build up will break down, your lymph will move, oxygen will be drawn in and your liver cells will ‘switch on’. This technique can be used effectively for any part of your body. You can even address specific cells in this way!

Stroke! Your most natural instinct, when it comes to easing pain, is now known to be one of the most powerful healing tools that you can use. When in doubt, stroke it out. A light, fast stroke over your area of concern generates electrical energy and moves your lymph. Breathe deeply, while you stroke and you have the simplest, most effective tool ‘in your hands’. You can use it on a symptom area, or on your whole body. Simply breathe deeply and evenly, while lightly rubbing or stroking your affected area. This even works by rubbing above the area, when touch would be too painful!

Once again let’s recap When your body is showing signs of pain, loss of energy or degeneration; it means that your batteries are ‘switching off’. Our formula for health states: Oxygen = ATP = Electrical Energy = Power If you do not have full power in any area of your body, then all that it means, is that your batteries are running down, you are not able to produce enough ATP and you are Oxygen deficient. This means that your Lymphatic System is not coping with your blood protein loss. You need you move your lymph. The simplest way to move your lymph is: • • •

To breathe deeply and evenly To bounce on a mini trampoline To stroke your body

These simple techniques need to be performed diligently and persistently, in order to restore speedy and lasting change.

Each time that you clear the cellular build-up and restore the Dry State, you may return to a Wet State condition; if there is internal stress and toxic build-up. This can happen within 5 minutes. Therefore, for your speed healing routine to be effective, you need to follow the 5-day plan.

Water, Water Everywhere … The most important symptom you need to be aware of is dehydration. Next to oxygen, the most important need of your body is water. Most of the cell content is water. This is what gives rise to the jelly-like, Living State. Every body began as one cell. As this cell began multiplying, new cells were formed, which needed water. This water is supplied by the mother’s body. It is of vital importance that the growing foetus gets enough water to fulfil its cellular needs. Every mother to be must drink enough water not only to supply her own needs, but also for her growing child. If mum is dehydrated, then the child’s water needs may not be adequately met. This could result in poorly formed cells with insufficient DNA activation and could give rise birth complications. Morning sickness could be a dehydration response by the mother, as her growing child gets preferential hydration. If cellular ATP is used up, the water loses its jelliness and begins to seep out of the cell. Every life process in your body, takes place in water. Water is the primary source of cellular energy. This energy is used for all cellular activity. If there is not enough water to generate energy for cellular activity, your cells will use their own ATP to fuel your vital life processes. This brings us right back to the beginning. Without ATP your jelly-like Living State is altered, you lose your electrical potential and your batteries start to ‘switch’ off. When your batteries ‘switch off’, water leaks out of your cells. This is the primary cause of dehydration in your body.

Feeling parched? When there is not enough water passing through your cells, cellular acidity increases, enzyme activity is inhibited and nerve communication deteriorates. Your cells become like little raisons and your body responds with a drought management program. It is vital for life that your cells are in a Living State. Your body will now takes steps to increase the water around your cells, in order to create enough pressure to push water back into your cells. This is called reverse osmosis. In order to conserve and ration water, your body releases Histamine to inhibit cellular activity and hold water in the tissue; Vasopressin to constrict the blood vessels and ration water to the

most important organs in your body and Renin-Angiotensin to tighten your capillaries and promote the absorption of more salt for water retention. When water builds up around the cells, pressure is exerted on the blood vessels and blood pressure is affected. To prevent your cells from collapsing due to the loss of water, your body uses clay-like cholesterol bricks to ‘prop up’ the cell membrane and prevent further water loss. This restricts the ‘waterway’ in the cell membrane, inhibiting optimum enzyme activity and reducing the delivery of vital cell ‘groceries’. Cholesterol is also used to repair tears in the blood vessels, which result from acidity and dehydration damage. From this, you can predict asthmatic conditions, allergic reactions, poor circulation, malnourishment as well as blood pressure and heart conditions. Dehydration and reduced enzyme activity leads to increased cellular acidity. When this occurs, essential amino acids are used as antioxidants, as there is a lack of water to neutralize and dispose of free radicals and cellular toxins. This results in DNA damage. DNA is the blue print for your cellular health. Due to poor protein metabolism and depleted amino acid reserves, the DNA is unable to be repaired. In this state, cells become immature and can begin growing at rapid rates. This results in abnormal or tumour growths. Hormones, enzymes and anti-bodies are made of protein. With poor amino acid reserves, dehydration, DNA damage and sluggish lymphatic flow; antibody production and immune functioning is also reduced. This leads to Immune Deficiency Syndromes. It is therefore vital that you restore your cellular ‘Jelly’. In order to do this, you need ATP and water.

One for the road For every kilogram of body weight, you need to drink 30ml of water. This means you must drink 8 to 12 glasses of water everyday. The optimum times to drink water are: • • • •

Adequate hydration will also help to eliminate toxins that are released back into your bloodstream when your lymph flow is once again restored. NB: For every glass of tea, coffee, soft drink or alcohol, you need another glass of water!

Cleaning up your act Once your lymphatic flow is restored, toxins will be released back into your bloodstream and these must be eliminated from your body. It is of utmost importance that your inner organs are cleansed in order for them to cope with the additional waste release. Inner organ cleansing must include: • • • • •

Your colon is your drainpipe for all waste release from your body. While it is important to keep your whole body clean, this is the most important cleanse to do. Reduce the variety of foods that you consume at each meal. This will optimise digestion and absorption of your food. Remember that moderation is the key. Most people in the West eat 5 times more than their body’s need. Eat to live, rather than living to eat. Make sure that you get enough rest and relaxation; enough exercise and sunshine and don’t forget to take time out to be in nature. The Pathway of Degeneration Symptom Slide Every degenerative condition in the human body is one and the same thing … a loss of energy! There is only one thing that can lead to a loss of cellular energy and cause our batteries to ‘switch off’ and that is trapped blood protein. Trapped blood protein alters the Dry State, causing the Wet State. When this occurs, the Living State is altered. In this Wet State, four primary conditions arise that lead to every diagnosed symptom of pain, degeneration, illness, disease and ultimately death. These are oxygen depravation, dehydration, acidity and nutrient deficiency.

No Oxygen The moment the Dry State is altered, our cells become oxygen deprived; and without oxygen, their ability to produce ATP is reduced. The most efficient way for cells to produce ATP is with oxygen and glucose. In order to continue functioning, cells are able to produce ATP without oxygen, however this is a less efficient means of energy production and there are consequences. Firstly, ATP is used to initiate this process of glycolysis and secondly, more glucose is needed to produce enough ATP to fuel our vital life processes and maintain the Living State. This results in a build-up of lactic acid. With oxygen, cells can produce 36 units of ATP from 1 molecule of glucose; without oxygen, they are only able to produce 2 units of ATP. In order to maintain adequate ATP production, the cells will demand more glucose! This often leads to an increased consumption of refined carbohydrates, which provides simple sugars that are rapidly digested and absorbed into our bloodstream. High blood glucose can result in hyperglycaemia, coma and death. To prevent this, the body triggers insulin release, which rapidly moves the excess glucose into our cells, where it is converted into energy. This may result in blood glucose levels dropping too rapidly, causing the adrenal glands to mobilise glycogen stores and stimulate the synthesis of protein into glucose. A diet of refined carbohydrates overworks both the pancreas and the adrenal glands. Excess glucose is converted into fats, which are either stored in the cells or transported to fat tissue for storage. Saturated fatty acids cause red blood cells to stick together and become less mobile. As a result, they are less able to deliver oxygen to the cells and this exacerbates the oxygen deficiency in the tissue. In the absence of oxygen, glucose ferments. When the Dry State is altered, fermenting glucose builds up with the trapped blood protein, sodium and excess fluid and becomes a mucousy, Wet State.

This provides the perfect breeding ground for bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites, all of which thrive in an environment that is oxygen depleted and rich in fermenting glucose. The primary condition that leads to all symptoms and ultimately death is oxygen depravation. If our cells are not able to produce optimum levels of ATP, they will not be able to maintain the jelly-like Living State. This leads us to the second primary condition … dehydration.

Water, water everywhere Next to oxygen, water is the most important need of our body. It is literally the life sustaining fluid, playing a crucial role in every life process. Water hydrates the cells and the circulatory systems, ensuring not only our full electrical potential, but also the generation and distribution of that electrical potential. When the Dry State is altered, ATP within the cell is used up, causing the water within the cell to lose its structure and to leak out. In response, the body instigates a drought management program, to conserve the water that it has and ration it to the most important organs of the body. Every cell has the capability to adapt to its environment by altering its membrane structure. Water is the natural ‘glue’ that holds cells together. In response to dehydration, the cholesterol content of the cell membrane is altered, to hold the membrane together and prevent uncontrolled water seepage into or out of the cell. As a result the membrane is sealed off, containing the internal environment and closing the bilayer ‘waterway’, thereby preventing enzyme movement and reducing the natural functioning of the cell. To maintain the Living jelly and replenish our stores of ATP, our cells must be constantly nourished and all cellular build up must be removed. This is the role of the blood and lymphatic circulatory systems. Any loss of water to the circulatory systems will result in reduced circulation, poor nourishment and waste build up. This leads to stagnation. Water is vital to deliver the ‘groceries’ to our cells and ‘to do the dishes’! One of the great ‘plagues’ affecting Africa today is drought. Aside from this climatic concern, most people are currently facing self-imposed drought, with extremely poor hydration habits. Histamine is a neurotransmitter that regulates water intake and drought management in the body, by causing muscle contraction and capillary dilation. This restricts the loss of cellular water through metabolic activity while at the same time increasing water around the cells, in an attempt to rehydrate them. Another function of histamine is immune suppression. All white blood cells have histamine receptors. There are two main groups of white blood cells that control the Immune System mechanism; helper cells (CD4), which aid in the production of antibodies and suppressor cell lymphocytes (CD8), which inhibit that production.

There are twice as many white cells that inhibit the immune system, as there are cells that stimulate it. Prolonged, unintentional dehydration will cause excessive histamine production; thereby suppressing the Immune System by lowering the body’s CD4 count and raising the body’s CD8 count. Histamine is also involved in cell proliferation, which could lead to carcinogenesis and tumour proliferation. A suppressed Immune System may contribute to the ability of tumour cells to escape immune surveillance, resulting in growth and spread of the tumour. If the immune system is suppressed, cancer cells stand a better chance of developing into new tumours. In response to a lower blood water volume, the body also manages drought by releasing vasopressin, which acts upon the kidneys promoting water retention. Vasopressin also acts directly on the blood vessels, causing strong vascular constriction. This reduces blood flow to the peripheral areas of the body and redirects the essential ‘groceries’ to our most important organs, ensuring that they are nourished so that they are able to continue ‘working’ for us. In dehydration, the vasopressin receptor in the cell membrane converts into a ‘shower head’ structure, which filters water molecules into the cell, keeping the bi-layer ‘waterways’ open. More vasopressin receptors are manufactured in the important cells of the body, to ensure their continued function. Vasopressin is a strong cortisone release factor. Cortisone is an immune suppressor. With increased cortisone activity, more Interleukin 1, a chemical produced by some white blood cells, is produced. This accentuates tissue breakdown for the release of raw materials from the protein reserves of the body. It also accentuates the action of cortisone in the inhibition of Interleukin 2 and Interferon production. These elements are vital for efficient defensive functions of the Immune System. These prime the cells that work against infections, foreign agents and aberrant cells that do not conform, like cancer cells. Interferon is crucial to the Immune System; inhibiting virus replication and causing a local release of hydrogen peroxide and ozone, which kills bacteria and cancer cells. Another way that the body manages dehydration is by releasing renin angiotensin. This stimulates the absorption of sodium by the kidneys in order to regulate our water and salt balance. It also stimulates thirst and an increased salt appetite, which increases water retention. As fluid builds up in the tissue, the intercellular pressure increases in order to ‘squeeze’ water back into the cells and rehydrate them. The constricting action of vasopressin on the blood vessels, in conjunction with the excess fluid that is building around the cells, exerts extra pressure on the blood vessels, thereby increasing blood pressure. The leading cause of death in the world is heart disease. Cardiac specialists recognise that all heart conditions relate to fluid retention in the heart tissue. This is often precipitated by the ‘silent killer’ … high blood pressure. In every life process, toxins and metabolic waste are produced and these must be flushed from the cells to prevent acid build up.

Water is vital to the health of our cells, not only for hydration and nutrient delivery, but also to maintain a clean and healthy environment. Dehydration within the cells and in the blood vessels leads to the third of the primary conditions … acidity.

The Bitter Pill The body is intelligent. So intelligent in fact, that within a year most of our cells have been renewed. This intelligence is based upon our cellular energy. To continue renewing themselves, cells must have their full electrical potential. This energy is absolutely vital for the life process that occurs in every cell. In every life process, two extraordinary chemical balancing acts take place in our body. One is called methylation and the other oxidation-reduction. To stay young and in perfect health, these two processes must be balanced and working perfectly. To a large extent, methylation and oxidation-reduction control the aging or degeneration process. Our bodies are literally a sea of chemicals from glucose, fats and amino acids to enzymes, hormones and neurotransmitters. Every second, our bodies literally makes hundreds of thousands of adjustments to keep us healthy and alive. This is the life process. In the methylation process, methyl groups are added to or subtracted from other molecules. By transforming one biochemical into another, our bodies make the substances that it needs, or breaks down those that it doesn’t. Methylation happens over a billion times a second and is like one big dance, with biochemicals passing methyl groups from one partner to another. Methyl groups are donated from Methionine, one of the essential amino acids. When a methyl group is taken away from Methionine, we are left with Homocysteine. Homocysteine can be seen as a toxic amino acid by-product of the methylation process. Ideally, our bodies then add another methyl group to Homocysteine, to convert it into two very important chemicals known as S-adenosyl Methionine (SaMe) and Glutathione. These are antioxidant and detoxifying agents, which are vital to keep our cells healthy and free from toxin and free radical damage. If Homocysteine levels build within the cell, so do toxins and free radicals. At the same time the methylation dance decreases, reducing our natural cellular functioning. The reason Homocysteine accumulates in the cells is because enzymes aren’t working properly.

Free Radicals Oxygen, although essential to life, is the source of potentially damaging free radicals. These highly reactive compounds, which are formed during normal metabolic reactions, are an absolutely essential part of the life process. They are used in the many thousands of chemical reactions that take place in our bodies, to trigger other chemical reactions.

The structural design of the enzymes that trigger the life processes, keeps most free radicals confined until the reaction is complete. However, between 2 and 5% of the free radicals involved in oxidation escape and these can cause damage to the cell membrane and DNA. To prevent free radical damage, the body has a defence system of nutrient antioxidants, which neutralise free radicals before they can be destructive. Any processing, refining or altering of the natural molecular structure of food by adding synthetic, toxic molecules will not only deplete natural antioxidant supplies, but also produce more free radical escapees. Being ‘unnatural’ to the body, these do not fit the body’s enzyme structure and are more likely to produce free radical chain reactions. This leads to biologically unsuitable chemical reactions, abnormal and toxic substances and degenerative disease.

The Blueprint for Health Our cells are constantly renewing themselves. Some live for only a few days, others for several months and a few live for years. Each cell is built using a blueprint, which is contained in our DNA. Each time one of our cells is renewed, its ability to build a new healthy cell, will depend on its DNA blueprint. Methylation is essential for DNA function and repair. Without it, our DNA is unable to efficiently orchestrate cell function and this results in poor protein synthesis and inefficient enzyme activity. Having high homocysteine levels means that our DNA is not only more vulnerable to oxidant or free radical damage, but is also poorly repaired when damaged. In the absence of free flowing water through the cell membrane, the body uses some of its vital assets as antioxidants to cope with the toxic waste of metabolism. These include the amino acids Tryptophan and Tyrosine, which are sacrificed in the liver to neutralise toxic waste. Sadenosyl Methionine is a natural liver protecting agent, which is depleted when Homocysteine levels rise. Increased free radical activity in the cells can damage the lipids in the cell membrane. Glutathione peroxidase is an enzyme that inhibits lipid peroxidation. If the cell membrane is sufficiently damaged, apoptosis or cell death will occur. As homocysteine levels in the body increase, so Glutathione levels decrease. The vital components of Glutathione peroxidase include Tryptophan, Cysteine and Selenium. Selenoproteins are part of the DNA structure of the cell and are made of the sulphur proteins Cysteine and Selenium. In times of crisis, the DNA is broken down, surrendering the Cysteine and Selenium to be used as antioxidants. This survival instinct would be akin to burning our valuable furniture and the wooden ceilings of our home, in times of severe cold or energy crisis. As the cell’s protein frame is broken down and the DNA blueprint is altered, cells lose their identity and are unable to function naturally. Protein kinase enzymes are involved in manufacturing new proteins inside the cells. Long-term dehydration, toxic waste build-up, poor nutrient delivery as well as inactivity, cause protease to breakdown the protein within the cells. As a result, the cells produce fewer and fewer cell

membrane receptors that are needed for hormonal communication with the body. This is called receptor down regulation. At a certain level of protease activity, a new class of protein manufacturing enzyme, known as protein kinase M, becomes produced. These are more befitting primitive cell function and cause the cells to go into incessant production, giving rise to abnormal growth. If cells are damaged, the body releases the chemical agents Tumour Necrosis Factor (TNF), Interleuken-1 (IL-1) and Interleuken-6 (IL-6) as well as others, to start crisis management. These agents function much like a team of salvage specialists that go to a site after an earthquake. One group clears debris; another brings in survival supplies and others begin restoring power, supply lines and communication. In the body, the principle is the same. Each cell needs to survive on the spot, if it can be repaired. Only the dead or irreparably damaged cells will have to be dismembered and cleared away. In chronic conditions, extensive reconstruction is necessary. If repeatedly weakened cells are unable to correct their deficient protein metabolism, IL-6 and TNF begin breaking down the DNA and RNA into fragments, to clear the debris. This decreases the size and ability of the cell nucleus to function.

Building Blocks Proteins are essential for the structure of our cells. All body proteins are made from different combinations of amino acids and synthesized within the cells following our DNA blueprint. There are 20 amino acids that are needed by the body. Eight are seen as essential and must be supplied through our diet, while the other twelve can be made by the body. Dietary proteins are broken down in the digestive system, yielding individual amino acids that are absorbed by the small intestines and transported to the liver. Within the liver, the amino acids form a pool that can be used to make the various proteins of the liver and blood. The amino acids of the liver can be exchanged with a second similar pool in the blood and these can be exchanged with a third amino acid pool in the tissue cells. The liver is a major centre for making amino acids and in addition to making its own protein and enzymes; it forms and secretes most of our blood proteins. For growth, repair and normal turnover of cellular protein, our tissues need a continuous supply of amino acids. These are obtained from the amino acid pool in the blood, which in turn receive them from the liver pool. Proteins are found in abundance in animal and plant food. Cooked protein is however, not a good source of amino acids. Two of the essential amino acids, Tryptophan and Lysine are destroyed at 114 degrees F. Anyone eating a cooked food diet will be deficient in these two essential amino acids. In order to repair DNA, a small enzyme cuts and splices faulty DNA replications and corrects the mistake. This enzyme is made of Tryptophan and Lysine. A deficiency in these two essential amino acids will certainly lead to DNA damage.

On another interesting note, Lysine is known to inhibit the growth of viruses. A balanced, well-proportioned amino acid supply is absolutely essential; not only for the body to be able to repair DNA damage, but also for antibody production and to make hormones and enzymes.

Harmony and Balance Hormones are the chemical messengers that regulate our life processes. Whenever the brain detects changes, real or imagined, it alerts our glandular system and hormones are released. There are two kinds of hormones, slow acting steroid hormones and fast acting peptides or catecholamines. 90% of circulating hormones bind to blood proteins and are transported to the cells via the blood stream. Once at their target cell, steroid hormones diffuse through the cell membrane and are converted into either an enzyme or a functional protein. These bring about physiological actions within the tissue and this is called protein synthesis. Fast acting hormones bind to the membrane of the target cell and initiate secondary messengers within the cell, which transform inactive enzymes into active enzymes. This action requires ATP. To manufacture hormones, our bodies need amino acids. Without all of the essential amino acids, hormone production will be affected and this in turn will affect our cellular functioning. Dehydration reduces protein synthesis within the cells, altering the cell membrane and causing receptor down regulation. This in turn affects our cellular enzyme activity.

There are two kinds of enzymes: exogenous and endogenous. Exogenous enzymes come from outside of the body and are supplied by our diet. They are known as food enzymes. Endogenous enzymes are produced by the body and these include digestive enzymes and metabolic enzymes. Food enzymes are contained in the food that we eat and are necessary for the digestion of that food. As we chew, the food is broken down, releasing the food enzymes. If however, food is cooked or even heated above 118 degrees F, then the enzyme content is destroyed. The enzymes contained in raw food actually digests up to 75% of that food themselves. The remaining 25% of the food is digested by digestive enzymes, which are supplied by the pancreas.

By eating cooked or heat-treated food, the body is forced to provide more digestive enzymes, which in turn overworks the pancreas. Unlike muscles, organs are not designed to respond to increased stress. Any organ that overworks will cause more blood protein loss, become exhausted and begin to degenerate. If the situation does not change, disease will set in and the organ will eventually ‘switch off’. When food does not contain enough enzymes, the body will be forced to supply them. To do so, it draws on the metabolic enzyme reserves from our vital organs and tissues. This causes a metabolic deficit. Metabolic enzymes are made from amino acids and are responsible for all cellular activity and for the breakdown and elimination of waste and toxic substances. They are also essential to our immune system, which relies almost entirely on enzymes to do its job. A cooked food diet will deplete our enzyme supply and if we are already amino acid deficient, will prevent us from replenishing that supply. On top of that, if we are dehydrated, those enzymes will not be able to move through the ‘waterway’ that runs through the cell membrane! The more waste build up that we have in our body; the less our cells are nourished. The accumulative effect of oxygen depravation, dehydration and acidity is … starvation.

Feed Me Underlying all illness is severe nutrition deficiency. There are three main reasons why most of the world is suffering from nutrition deficiency. The first follows the symptomatic pathway we have already outlined. By altering the Dry State, we induce a self-imposed state of starvation. As our intra and extra cellular environments change, our cells lose the ability to receive optimum nourishment. On top of this, vital nutrients become depleted through cell-induced crisis management. The second reason is based upon our nutritional habits. Most people believe that a ‘well balanced diet’ will provide the recommended daily allowance (RDA) of essential nutrients that are necessary for health and vitality. Unfortunately, health authorities cannot agree upon what actually constitutes a ‘well balanced diet’; with many nutrition experts suggesting that RDAs are well below the needed intake for optimum health. Some even suggest that RDAs are, at best, the minimal intake for a ‘normal’ person who doesn’t smoke or drink, isn’t suffering from an illness or infection, pre-menstrual or menopausal, or exposed to excessive stress or pollution. In other words they are relatively meaningless in the world we live in today.

In a document entitled ‘Dietary Goals for the United States’, the Select Committee on Nutrition and Human Needs reported that: ‘The eating patterns of this century represent a critical public health concern. We must acknowledge and recognise that the public is confused about what to eat to maximise health … Without Government and industry commitment to good nutrition, people will continue to eat themselves to poor health … Six of the ten leading causes of death have been linked to diet. These include heart disease, cancer, diabetes, hypertension, obesity and stroke.’

There are eight essential nutritional requirements needed by the body for restoring and maintaining health. These must be provided in the most natural and easily available form, for efficient assimilation to occur. They are oxygen, water, enzymes, glucose, minerals, vitamins, essential fatty acids and amino acids. Due to ignorance, confusion and poverty, we are not offering our cells these essential nutrients. For the first time in human history, the number of overweight people rivals the number of underweight people. Both the overweight and the underweight suffer from malnutrition. The hungry and the overweight share high levels of sickness and disability, shortened life expectancies and lower levels of productivity. This is where the third reason for malnutrition comes in. Due to climatic changes, biodiversity, increased toxic chemical use and soil depletion, Nature is no longer able to supply us with a natural, healthy diet. The Earth's atmosphere is now warming at the fastest rate in recorded history, a trend that is projected to cause extensive damage to forests, marine ecosystems and agriculture. The scientific evidence is now compelling that recent climate change is caused at least in part by human activities, especially the burning of fossil fuels, which has driven atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations to their highest levels in 420,000 years. It is estimated that our ancestors breathed air containing up to 36% Oxygen. Current Oxygen levels are now measured at 18%. The world lives amid the greatest mass extinction since the dinosaurs perished 65 million years ago and most of this loss is caused by human activities. In an increasingly globalized world, plants, animals and microbes are introduced more and more frequently into regions that had never hosted them. This destabilizing influence can overrun ecosystems, leaving an impoverished and less resilient environment that is more vulnerable to stresses. The world has lost nearly half its forested area in the past 8,000 years and the majority of that loss occurred in the 20th century, when cultivated area expanded rapidly and consumption of wood and paper jumped dramatically. The enormous natural value of forests includes soil erosion prevention and flood control.

Water scarcity may be the most underappreciated global environmental challenge of our time. With groundwater being pumped faster than it is being replenished, the number of people unable to meet their domestic, industrial and agricultural water needs is increasing substantially. Lack of access to safe drinking water remains one of the leading causes of disease and death in the developing world. Most of the fresh drinking waters are now polluted with industrial chemical waste resulting in more than 3 million people—most of them children—dying each year from diarrhoea and other illnesses caused by contaminated water. Even the oceans have been contaminated, devastating the marine life in its wake. Viewed throughout history as an inexhaustible resource, both in terms of what they can produce and what they can absorb; the great oceans of the world are now reaching their ecological limits. At the same time climatic changes have caused severe drought conditions throughout the world. With the increased use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides, microorganisms in the soil are either killed or inhibited. As a result, mineral ions may be converted into insoluble complexes, making it difficult for the plants to absorb these essential minerals. Fulvic acids are created by microorganisms in the soil, for the purpose of transporting minerals and nutrients from the soil into the plant. In return, the complex sugars that nourish the plant also feed these microorganisms. This symbiotic relationship allows for this life cycle to continue. Fulvic Acid is the element that makes nutrients absorbable, resulting in a dramatic impact on all kinds of diseases and health problems that afflict us today. Scientists call it the elixir of life and theorize that without it nothing would live. Nobel Laureate Linus Pauling has stated that every sickness, disease and ailment can be traced to mineral deficiency. Minerals are the electrically charged particles that account for our electrical potential. It is the delicate balance of these minerals that account for our life force. This leads us back to the primary cause of all degeneration in the human body … a loss of energy.

The Journey to Health There are two fundamental questions that you must answer, before undertaking any journey to health. 1. Do you understand your role in creating your current health condition? Knowingly or unknowingly, you have broken the Laws of Health. 2. Once you understand your responsibility, are you willing to make changes? Unless you are physically or mentally unable to, you must now make a decision for health. Do you want to be healthy? Now this might seem like an odd question to ask anyone, let alone someone experiencing a health crisis. However, you must be completely honest with yourself. It is vital that you want to be healthy. Whatever your condition, you must be willing ‘to do your dishes’. Remember, true healing is not about curing disease; it is about restoring health. You are not curing cancer, AIDS, heart disease or even a seasonal bout of the flu; you are simply clearing the Wet State and restoring the Living, Dry State. This cannot happen without change. Health is not about recharging your batteries, so that you can get back to your old way of life. Any change in your health, is a signal that you need change in your life. Are you willing to make a change?

The Eight Essentials Once you have made the decision for health, you need to find the quickest, most effective way to achieve your goal. In any health crisis, there are eight specific needs that must be met in order to rapidly restore your electrical potential. These are: • Energy - You need energy to jump start the cellular structure, uncluster the trapped blood protein and move the lymph in the target area. •

Lymph - You need lymph drainage in the target area and throughout your whole body, particularly in the Ducts.



Oxygen - You need oxygen to restore cellular ATP, ‘switch on’ the jelly-like, Living State and generate energy.



Water – 66% of body dehydration occurs inside the cells, when the Living State is altered. You need hydration.

Body Cleansing – Acidity is primarily the result of oxygen deficiency and cellular dehydration. It is vital that your major organs of elimination are clearing the toxic waste from your body.



Nutrition – Once acidity sets in, you are starving at a cellular level. In order to restore your health, it is essential that you saturate your body with optimum physical, emotional and mental nutrition.



Emotional Well-being – You need love. All negative emotion arises from a disruption in your body’s energy system. You need to balance the underlying negative emotions that are draining you.



Mental Balance – As you think … so you are. In order to be healthy, you must want to live. It is time to clear the cobwebs, let go of the past and start enjoying life again.

Now before beginning any techniques, read the following carefully. An Ancient Chinese Proverb to determine Sanity “A person is shown a stream of water flowing into a stagnant pond. He is given a bucket and asked to drain the pond. If he first takes steps to effectively dam the inflow to the pond, he is adjudged sane. If, on the other hand, he ignores the inflow and tries to empty the pond bucket by bucket, he is designated as insane.”

Blood protein and water naturally leave the blood stream. This loss is exacerbated by breaking the Pure Laws of Health. In order to maintain the Living, Dry State, the lymphatic system must be fully functional. If it is unable to cope with the buildup of blood protein, water, dead cells and toxins, a ‘stagnant pond’ will result. In order to successfully restore your health, it is vitally important that you take immediate steps to prevent any further build up around your cells. This means that you must now pay absolute heed to the Pure Laws of Health … failure to do so, would be insane! Law 1: ‘Use your body wisely’ The body is designed for motion. If it does not move, it will stagnate. However, it is essential that you use your body appropriately. Too much activity can be draining, while too little will eventually lead to sluggishness and muscle wasting. By applying this law specifically to the Lymphatic System, we can see that it addresses the vital activity needed for efficient lymphatic circulation. According to Dr Arthur C. Guyton, in his ‘Textbook for Medical Physiology’, if we do not retrieve the blood protein that is lost in a 24 hour period, we quite literally will be dead. Native American Indians know that through inactivity and shallow breathing, death can follow in as short as 24 hours!

With our current way of life, most people spend their day in a seated position, either in front of a television, a computer screen or at a steering wheel. By the end of the day, most are exhausted and collapse into bed, their batteries finally drained. Sleep is also seen in some cultures, as a mini death! If this is the way you live, day in and day out, then you have to ask yourself one question … are you breathing deeply throughout the day? With little to no movement of your body’s muscular and skeletal pump and certainly very little thoracic pump activity, you are very likely committing a slow suicide, similar to that of the Native American Indian! If you have already broken this law, which everybody has at some stage, then you must now use it to restore your health. Take a deep breath … it is time to work! Law 2: ‘Do not stress’ Any additional stress to your already compromised system will rapidly drain you. In today’s fastpaced, material world, stress is an accepted part of life. Some of our greatest personal stresses include financial worry, having the right appearance and self-image, safety and security, guilt and of course good health. However, it is not simply the emotional and mental stresses of survival in the 21st Century that drain us. Anything that interferes with your natural electrical cellular potential will drain you. In today’s highly technological world, we have created an environmental soup of unnatural electromagnetic radiation that appears to be growing thicker with each passing day. While we may not be able to see this electromagnetic fog that fills our homes, our places of work and our cities, we can certainly feel its effects. Remember, you now have a better understanding of what is actually happening inside of your body. You have the power; do not give it away to anyone, no matter what their credentials. Even if you have been diagnosed with a ‘terminal’ health condition, remain calm, find a ‘safe’ space in which to restore your health and surround yourself with an encouraging support team. Do the work. Take it one step at a time. Identify your stresses and neutralize them. Take time out from your busy schedule to laugh, smile and hug more; turn off the television, the computer and the cell phone; stop reading the newspaper; return to a simple, natural life and be grateful for the small pleasures. Be kind to yourself and to others; get out of the ‘hustle and bustle’ of the city and spend more time in Nature; exercise and rest more. Law 3: ‘You are what you eat’ Any health condition is an indication that your body is like a ‘stagnant pond’. It is essential, that you immediately halt any further toxification. This includes physical, emotional, mental and environmental toxification. If you insist on feeding yourself poison, you are wasting your time! As far as nutrition goes, immediately cut out all processed, refined, artificially flavoured, coloured and preserved foods as well as all genetically modified foods and foods with added

sugar and salt. Cut out all stimulants like coffee, tea, alcohol, tobacco and soft drinks. All drugs, both pharmaceutical and recreational are toxic to your body. NOTE: Always consult your medical practitioner before making any changes to prescriptive medication. Avoid dairy products, hydrogenated oils and if you are going to eat meat, do so sparingly and make sure that it is organic. Do not drink tap water, which is highly chlorinated and fluoridated and reduce or eliminate air conditioning, antiperspirants and sun block creams. Remember if you can’t eat it, don’t put it on your skin. Cut all fear mongering and stay away from pessimists. Fear is the greatest inhibitor of life. You need love, encouragement and support. The next point is extremely important to remember. As soon as you begin emptying your ‘stagnant pond’, the toxins must be released from your body as quickly as possible. Any increase of toxins in your blood stream will increase blood protein loss and this will put you right back where you started. Once you begin your journey, keep the channels of elimination open and flowing. Internal organ cleanliness is next to Godliness!

Bon Voyage! Having taken steps to ‘dam the inflow to the pond’, you now need to take your bucket and ‘drain the pond’. The only way to retrieve your lost blood protein and restore natural energy production in your cells is to move your Lymphatic System. This is the bucket. However, if your blood protein has melted together and clustered, your lymphatic system will not be able to retrieve it. This is why most systems of healing fail to provide complete, long lasting results. If you do not completely remove the blood protein build up, you will continue to create a Wet State. This will prevent your cells from getting optimum oxygenation, re-hydration, cleansing and nutrition. In any healing crisis, your primary needs are energy, lymphatic drainage and oxygen. Only by introducing a charge of energy into your Wet State, can you uncluster the blood protein, stimulate your lymphatic circulation and draw oxygen into your cells to produce your vital cell fuel, ATP. Once you have done this, you need hydration, cleansing, nutrition saturation as well as emotional and mental balancing. In any health condition, it is vital that you address your symptomatic area, as well as your whole body. If any one part of your body is weakened, your whole body will be compromised. You will need to formulate a plan that addresses not only your immediate needs, but also your long-term health requirements. Remember, whatever plan you choose to follow, make sure it is one that you are able to work

with. Any technique can be used, but it must provide optimum energy as well as lymphatic movement, so that you can clear the blood protein build-up, oxygenate your cells and switch your ‘batteries’ on. When dealing with a chronic health condition, adjust the plan accordingly to ensure that the principle needs are met constantly. It may be necessary to bring in a team of friends and family, to assist with the techniques. In some instances, stroking has been performed around the clock, to bring about rapid results. Remember, it may have taken many years of gradual accumulation to create your current Wet State. Be patient and work diligently and persistently. The more you do it, the better you will feel and the better you feel, the more you will be able to do it. This is where the Eight-fold Pathway begins.

Energy Techniques The underlying cause of all degeneration is energy loss. Therefore, in any and all situations, your primary need is energy. Like a car with a flat battery, you need a jump-start. This will give your body the power to uncluster blood protein build up, move lymph and restore your Living Dry State. There are many ways that you can energize your body. Exercise – ‘Flowing Motion’ is practiced by the people of China to generate and increase energy in their bodies. It is believed that if this exercise is practised 100 times a day, you will live a long and healthy life; 1000 times and you will live forever! To practice, stand straight with your feet shoulder-width apart and your hands at your sides. Raise your heels and at the same time with palms facing forwards, inhale and raise your hands to the level of your chest. Turn your palms, begin to exhale as you move your hands downward, while you lower your heels and raise your toes in a rocking movement. If your body feels wobbly or unbalanced, imagine a centre of balance within your abdomen, like a long umbilical cord that connects you to the earth. Continue the motion, slowly rocking back and forth while you breathe deeply. With each move, drop your shoulders and relax your arms and fingers. Do the exercise smoothly and slowly. Rather than doing 1000 first thing in the morning, try doing 100 every hour. Exercise – Foot stroke One of the most beneficial areas of the body to stroke are the soles of the feet. By using a light, fast stroke you can quite literally stimulate the whole body. This is very useful when it is difficult to access specific areas on the body, or for people who are bedridden. A more invigorating version is known as ‘foot slapping’. This exercise stimulates the kidneys, which are known as the storehouse of physical energy. Using a slightly cupped open palm, slap the hollow arch in the sole of your foot with your hand. Women should begin on the left foot, with the right hand; men should begin on the right foot with the left hand. Relax your wrist and slap with an even, slow tempo of about one slap per second. The slapping should be invigorating, but not too hard. Slap at least 50 times morning and night, working up to 100 repetitions. Start gently and do not cause yourself pain or exhaustion. Do not practice the slapping if you suffer from a serious health condition or are extremely weak (cancer or heart conditions). For the seriously ill, just rub the foot and finish by rubbing the belly area for a few minutes. Exercise – Connecting A wonderfully powerful way to share energy with a partner is to connect your personal energy fields and direct the energy to a target area. To do this, you need to connect the pads of your left hand fingers and thumbs. Each person should imagine holding a glass in his or her left hand. Relax and lightly touch your pads together, without creating tension in your hands. This creates a circuit of energy between you.

The receiver then places their right hand on their own body at the area of need, while the partner places their right hand on top of the receiver’s hand. Breathe deeply and evenly and hold for the duration of the treatment. You may find that the pain moves, if so follow it.

Other methods There are many other wonderful ways to stimulate the flow of energy in your body. These include working with electrical devices like the ‘Zapper’, the Rife Resonator, high frequency generators and other pain relieving gadgets; herbs; Naturopathic and Homeopathic remedies, specialised raw food diets; colour therapies; crystals; magnets; Reflexology, Acupressure and Acupuncture and other energy producing therapies like Reiki, Quantum Touch and Pranic Healing.

Relaxation Energy stagnates when you body is tense and stressed. In order to free up your energy, so that it can flow naturally, you need to relax regularly. There are many ways to do this, which include taking a gentle walk in Nature, listening to relaxing music or simply taking time out to relax your body. Exercise – lie down on your back, close your eyes and let your whole body sink into the carpet or floor beneath you. Breathe evenly and deeply and begin relaxing every part of your body. Start with your toes and move progressively upwards to the top of your head. Feel as though every part of your body is melting into the floor. Make sure that you do not fall asleep; the idea is just to relax. Practice for just 5 minutes every day, to allow your energy to free up and flow.

Inner Smiling Negative emotion is the result of a disruption in your body’s natural energy system. When you feel down and experience negative emotions, your body also feels down. One of the great secrets of Taoist healing is the ‘inner smile’. Smile at your body when it is down and it will ‘pick up’ and smile back at your. The underlying principle here is energy follows thought. By focusing lovingly on your body, your energy will once again flow. Exercise – make yourself comfortable, either sitting or lying, and close your eyes. Begin breathing in a calm, deep and rhythmic manner and become aware of your body. Ask yourself where you are feeling ‘down’ and listen to your body’s response. As you become aware of the areas in your body, quietly smile at them. This may simply be a feeling, or you may find yourself actually smiling. Make sure that your smile is relaxed and loving. Think of your body as a frightened child. You want to reassure it that you care for it, you accept it unconditionally and that you appreciate everything that it does for you. At first this may seem strange, but the more you relax and smile, the more your body will relax and ‘smile’. You can use this exercise for specific conditions, or simply smile at each of your major organs in turn. For optimum wellness, be sure to include all of your major organs, your glands and your spine.

Energy Maintenance The real secret to speed healing lies in consistency. Get your energy flowing and keep it flowing. It is a good idea to have a regular routine of energy maintenance. There are some wonderful practices that not only restore flagging energy, but also maintain vibrant flowing energy. These include yoga, tai chi and chi gung. These can be practiced alone or with a class. One of the great secrets of the Tibetan monks is a sequence of 5 simple exercises, which quickly restore your natural energy levels and literally rejuvenate your body. When practicing these exercises, it is advisable to start slowly, always listening to your body and never causing any discomfort.

The 5 Tibetan Rites Your body has 7 major energy centres that are connected to your hormonal glands. These vortexes or ‘wheels’ of energy regulate your body’s natural biological functioning and can be seen as your power plants. When you are healthy, they are energised and spinning rapidly. If they slow down, so do you. These 5 exercises stimulate the energy centres and distribute the energy throughout your body. This results in rapid revitalisation and rejuvenation. Practiced daily, it is a wonderful technique for maintaining your energy levels. Place your tongue on your palate before you begin and keep it there throughout the exercises. After each exercise, take 2 slow, deep breaths, place your hands on your lower belly and be aware of the energy sensations in your body. Always practice according to your own ability and comfort levels. Never force your body! Begin slowly and build to 9 repetitions of each exercise. 1. Standing with your arms outstretched to the side, palms facing downward, spin around in a clockwise direction. Inhale through your nose during the first spin and hold it while you continue to spin. Release if necessary. Focus on a single point to maintain your balance. 2. Lie flat on your back, with your arms at your sides, palms facing downward. Pull your knees up to a 45-degree, while keeping your feet flat on the floor. Breathe in and bring your chin to your chest, while lifting your legs gently into an abs crunch position. Hold for a few seconds and then breathe out as you slowly lower both legs and head to the floor. 3. Kneel on the floor with your spine straight, bending your toes backward, so that they keep contact with floor. Relax your arms at your side. Bring your chin to your chest. Breathe in deeply and raise your head up and back as far as it will comfortably go. Exhale forcefully through the mouth (with a ‘shu’ sound) as you return to the starting position. The breathing should be timed to match the head movement. 4. Sit on the floor with your knees at a 45-degree angle and your feet shoulder width apart. Place your hands flat next to you, palms down and bring your chin to your chest. Breathe out as you move your head backwards as far as it will go, while at the same time raising your body to a horizontal position (like a table). Tense your muscles for a few seconds and then relax. Breathe in deeply as you lower your body to the starting position. 5. Begin in a ‘woman’s push-up’ position; with hands flat on the floor directly below your shoulders and your knees and shins flat on the floor. Pull your head slightly up and back without straining. Move your hips up and back, while pivoting your head downward (looking at your feet), bending your elbows slightly and breathing in through your nose. Your knees,

shins and feet stay in the starting position. Breathe out as you return to the starting position. Tense your muscles for a moment, both at the raised point and at the lowered point.

The Power Plants Dr. Joseph Waltz in New York puts electrodes down the spine and brings previously helpless Cerebral Palsy, MS, and Polio patients out of wheel chairs. All this electricity does is activate the lymphatic system. We can accomplish these same things without electrodes because the Creator supplied the body with it's own Power Source! We have now discovered how to use the electrical energy that is generated in the Brain and the Seven other Power Plants (Glands) to activate our lymphatic system in every organ and in every part of our body. By doing so, we can help overcome pain, loss of energy, and previously incurable diseases faster and easier than ever before. To tap into the electrical energy that is available in these Power Plants and to provide the" currents" needed to allow the body to heal itself, we must know how to magnify our thought wave. In 1976, Dr C. Samuel West discovered how to use a lymphasizer (mini-trampoline) to magnify the thought wave, and miraculous healings have taken place. Although we have now learned two other ways to magnify the thought wave without using a lymphasizer, we still highly recommend using the trampoline whenever possible. Remember, always use a "gentle" bounce when on the trampoline.

We can now magnify our thought waves by: (1) Using a lymphasizer, (2) Stroking across the body with both hands starting at the navel, or (3)Tapping into an outside energy source such as: a) an electrical device, b) magnets, or c) the Supreme Intelligence of the universe. Many refer to this intelligence as God, Heavenly Father, Earthly Mother, Great Spirit, Allah, Krishna, etc. Now, while using the above methods 1, 2, and/or3 to magnify the thought wave, we can use the following 3-breathtechnique to increase the electrical energy throughout our bodies. We will use #1 from the chart below as an example. Breath #1:Take a deep breath in through the nose, if possible. When the lungs are filled, say or think: "Heavenly Father (or your terminology) Bless and heal my right brain and left brain. Number 1". Blow out your air. Breath #2:Inhale, and again say or think: "Heavenly Father Bless and heal my right and left Brain. Number 1".Blow out the air. Breath #3:Inhale deeply. Hold the breath as long as you can without creating stress and either read or say out loud the wording below that follows number1. I.E. "The electric energy produced in the brain can now be directed to every gland, and to every part of my body from my head to my feet, Number 1." Repeat this 3-breath process for each of the remaining numbers in the chart below. Do this at least once a day. Best if done in the morning to set the daily computer mind program. This only takes about 15~20 minutes a day. You're worth it!

Now, all my Power Plants are on! Where does my body need special help and attention right now? This information is stored in my subconscious mind and can be accessed by adding the two steps below. 9) All Allergies from my body

What I have been allergic to has acted like a poison to my body, and all poisons have frequencies. The energy generated in these Power Plants can now Identify, Neutralize, and Eliminate all the energy incompatibility of any poison that is in my body or outside of my body - whether it be foods, chemicals, plants, animal or anything in the air Right Now! To remove sufficient dead cells and poisons to allow the healing process to begin, it is necessary that you repeat this sequence as many times as you can for the first half-hour. To activate each one of the power plants (1-10) using the 3-Breath Technique every half-hour takes time. However, once you have used the 3-Breath Technique to activate each one, the subconscious mind already knows what each number stands for -right? Therefore, instead of saying what each number stands for, we can just say the number. Therefore, to make this powerful process even faster and easier, all we have to do is: 1. Breathe deeply three times - in through the nose and out the mouth. While you hold the third breath say or think: "Heavenly Father (or your terminology), Bless and Heal, number 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10, Repeat, Repeat." Let your air out. 2. Oxygen To produce energy efficiently, your cells must have oxygen. The only natural way to get oxygen is through breathing. However, there are a number of key factors that must be taken into account before you take a big breath. Studies now show that increasing the concentration of oxygen does not necessarily lead to increased absorption. To increase your absorption of oxygen, the air that you breathe must be energized. Ions are atoms or molecules that have an electrical charge due to the loss or gain of an electron. In nature there is a balance of positive and negative ions in the air and this contributes towards the perception of ‘clean fresh air’. The quality of air we breathe depends upon the kind of electrical charge and concentration of ions. It is the negative ion of oxygen that affects us the most. Due to pollution and the use of electrical devices, large quantities of positive ions are created in our environment, upsetting this electrical balance and producing heavy, poor quality breathing air. In the body, negative ions increase our ability to absorb oxygen. Very few human activities generate negative ions; these are found in greatest concentration near waterfalls, on mountaintops and at the seashore. Simply being in these environments makes you want to breathe. Statistics show that most people spend 80 to 90% of their lives indoors; in relatively tightly sealed, electrically chaotic spaces, where the air is ion depleted and concentrated with pollutants. This is possibly one of the reasons that poor breathing habits develop. Your body is doing its best to avoid the threat of constantly breathing in pollutants and positive ion poisoning. 4X4 Exercise – The following rhythmic breathing exercise has been successfully used in a Chicago hospital to treat TB and other lung conditions. Breathe in for a count of 4, hold the air in your lungs for a count of 4, breath out for a count of 4 and once again hold the breath out for a count of 4. Repeat this 4 X 4 X 4 X 4 rhythm at least 10 to 15 times a day and with practice, increase the count to 10 X 10 X 10 X 10. Always work at your own pace, never overexerting yourself. Straw Breathing Exercise –another way to strengthen your lungs is through resistance training. Purse your lips, imagining that you have a straw in your mouth. Begin drawing the air in slowly and deeply, while restricting the inflow of air by controlling the shape of your mouth. The smaller the opening, the harder it is to draw the air in and longer it takes to fill your lungs. Make sure that you are drawing hard so that you can feel your lung muscles working. When you breathe out, keep your lips pursed and blow the air slowly, yet forcefully out. Once again restrict the airflow by pursing your lips tightly to close your mouth opening. Practice this for 2 minutes every day for amazing results.

Letting Go Exercise – this is another powerful way to clear out your lungs. Sit upright, with your eyes closed and your spine straight. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth, allowing your inhalation to be passive and your exhalation to be forceful. Break up your outbreath into several mini-exhalations which will sound something like, ‘huh, huh, huh, huuuuuuuh’. The last exhalation is always the longest and most complete, as the air is forced out of your lungs. Focus on moving your abdomen as you breathe. Begin by practicing 12 exhalations and take a rest. This will be one round. Build your practice to 3 rounds morning and night to ensure good clean lungs.

Lymph The lymphatic system purifies your body and keeps your tissue in a clean Living Dry State. Once you begin draining your lymph, you will begin clearing old stagnant waste. It is absolutely essential that you do this at a comfortable, safe pace. Should you feel any discomfort, know that you are clearing old toxic lymph and you are in need of internal organ cleansing. The natural way to move your lymph is through deep breathing and body movement. As we have seen however, body movement on its own is not enough to clear the lymph from your ducts. This can only be done through deep breathing. Lymph Propulsion Exercise - stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent and your hands at your sides. With your palms facing your body, begin inhaling and raise your arms in front of you. Your arms are bent at the elbow, at a 90-degree angle. Turn your palms downward at chest level, forward at face level and upward as your arms reach up above your head. Your hands are open with your fingers relaxed and extended backwards. As you reach upwards, it is as if you are holding up the sky. Feel your chest area stretch and open. Look upwards and tilt your head slightly backwards. At the same time, tilt your tailbone backwards so that your spine is like a bow, with your stomach and chest forward. On the exhalation, pull your arms and elbows forward and down, turning your palms towards your face. Clench your hands tightly into fists as they pass before your eyes and keep your elbows together and bent. Exert effort in your arms and chest muscles. The bow of the spine is now curved backwards as your head and shoulders round forwards. The exhalation is full and somewhat forceful. Relax deeply on the inhalation and contract everything on the exhalation. Repeat the movement 10 times morning and night. Blood Cleanse Exercise – this is a method of purifying the blood and lymph of build up and exchanging it for fresh blood. It can be practiced on a person with ill health or the aged to assist in restoring good health. Begin by warming your hands with a vigorous rubbing motion. Starting at the top of the back, place your flat palms on either side of the spine and stroke sideways, using a light, fast stroke. Return and repeat the movement 15 times. Continue down the back, one hand width lower each time, until you reach the base of the spine. Complete the back area by stroking from the top to the base of the spine, using the index and middle fingers of both hands, Stroke on either side of the spine and repeat the movement 15 times. To stroke the arms, begin with the upper arm and stroke from the elbow upwards to the shoulder. Repeat the movement 15 times. Stroke the forearm in the same way, from the wrist to the elbow and then repeat the upper arm once again. Do the same on the other arm. Complete the arms by rubbing the palms. To stroke the legs, begin with the thigh and stroke from the knee upwards to the hip. Repeat the movement 15 times. Stroke the lower leg in the same way, from the ankle to the knee and then repeat the thigh once again. Do the same on the other leg. Complete the legs by rubbing the soles of the feet.

To address specific organs, always work gently and respect personal space. To benefit the lungs and heart, gently stroke the chest area from the center outwards. For the liver, gallbladder, stomach, spleen and pancreas, simply stroke under both sides of the rib cage, from the center of the body outwards. To benefit the intestines, stroke the lower belly, below the navel, from the center outwards. To address the whole abdominal area, simply rub the ‘tummy’ in a clockwise motion. Perform the whole sequence morning and night, or more often if necessary. To increase the effectiveness of this treatment, gently pat each area 15 times before stroking.

Other Methods There are a number of other ways that you can use to keep your lymph circulating healthily. These include deep tissue Swedish massage, Jet Therapy, walking and swimming, Homeopathy (Lympha) as well as the following maintenance treatments:

Skin Brushing As the body’s largest organ, the skin is one of the primary channels of elimination, releasing up to a kilogram of waste every day. It is estimated that about one third of all body impurities are eliminated through the skin. Unfortunately in most people, this vital route of detoxification is often clogged with dead skin cells and the un-removed waste excreted through perspiring. This usually results in overworking the liver and kidneys and a build up of waste in the tissue. Adding to the benefit of waste release, skin brushing is a powerful way to stimulate lymphatic circulation. By manually manipulating the flow of lymph towards the ducts, waste deposits from the cells can be released directly into the colon. Using a natural bristle brush, gently brush from the soles of your feet upwards, toward your heart. Then brush your hands, arms, head and neck towards your heart. Adjust your brushing pressure, as different parts of your body are more sensitive than others. Never brush irritated, damaged or infected skin. When your skin is ‘seasoned’ you can use more pressure or a coarser brush. Brush your dry skin for 5-10 minutes before showering until it becomes warm and rosy, and then shower away dry skin particles.

Sauna This is a powerful way to open your pores and encourage waste removal. Some studies suggest that there are certain toxins that can only be removed through the skin (do not use if you have high blood pressure, heart or kidney problems).

Epsom Salts Bath If you do not have access to a sauna, you could use this simple method to increase perspiration and eliminate excess toxins through your skin (do not use if you have high blood pressure, heart or kidney problems). Add one cup of Epsom Salts per 30kgs of body weight to your bath water and stir thoroughly to dissolve the salts.

Before you get into the bath, perform dry body brushing to open your pores and stimulate your lymph circulation. Get into the tub and continue to fill it with hot water to a temperature that is comfortable for you. Soak for about 15 to 20 minutes. Stop at any time should you feel uncomfortable, overheated, or light-headed. Afterwards, wrap yourself up in a towel, lie down and continue to sweat for thirty minutes. Follow this with a shower in tepid water to cool down. Do not use soaps, since they clog the pores and inhibit the release of toxins.

Contrast Showers The contrast between hot and cold water increases circulation, promotes detoxification and strengthens the immune system. This helps bring nutrients, oxygen and immune cells to damaged and stressed tissues and carries away metabolic waste, inflammatory by-products and other toxic substances. Start with three minutes of hot water followed by less than one minute of cold water. Repeat this pattern at least once, always finishing with cold (e.g. 3 minutes hot - 1 minute cold - 3 minutes hot - 1 minute cold).

Water Water Structure As we have seen, structure is essential for life. It is the structure of the water inside the cells that gives rise to the Living State. Without it, we lose our ‘battery’ potential. This structure is also vital in the waters that we drink. Following the studies of Japanese researcher Masaru Emoto, it is now recognized that water structure can vary greatly. When viewed under a microscope, pure clean water has a balanced and coherent structure, while that of polluted or denatured water is chaotic and fragmented. And here’s the cruncher … structured water is more easily absorbed at a cellular level than unstructured water. This is an essential point, if we are to rehydrate our cells and recharge our batteries. Most people are unaware of the importance of water structure and are diligently pouring 2 liters of chaotic water into their bodies every day. It gets even better! Masaru Emoto discovered that intention could greatly affect the structure of water. Positive messages like ‘Love and Gratitude’ would result in beautifully structured water crystals, while negative messages would result in fragmented and chaotic structure. Bearing in mind that 70% of our bodies are water, this places a huge responsibility on our shoulders. Attitude is everything! Every thought of ill intent will have an adverse effect upon the waters of our body, everybody else’s body and the waters of the planet! Now that’s a thought!

Water Charging Exercise Before you hastily gulp down another glass of water, pause for a moment and simply hold it with loving intention. Remember, this water has the potential to charge your body with health and vitality, or drain you by adding to your Wet State. Feel a deep sense of appreciation for its essential role in your body and you will quite literally be restructuring the water as you hold it. As long as you hold this intention, the water will maintain its healthful structure. Remember, in order to restore the cellular jellies, we must not only drink pure, structured water; but more importantly, we must drink it with a loving and grateful attitude.

Tri Vortex Technology Other than through intention, which needs focus and can be time consuming, the best way to structure water is through the use of Tri –Vortex Technology. Salt By drinking more water, you will need to replenish minerals that have been flushed out. There is much controversy surrounding the dietary use of salt. While too much salt can be life threatening, it is however, essential for health and well-being. Due to a diet high in processed and packaged foods, many people are consuming unknown quantities of refined, iodised salt. At the same time, they are also adding copious amounts of salt, spices and sauces to every meal. Oblivious to quality or quantity, few realise the harm they are inflicting upon themselves. In contrast, confusing health information is now leading many others down a salt deficiency path. As with water, there is an ideal amount of salt that is needs to be consumed every day, in order to sustain health and vitality. This is based specifically upon water consumption. For every litre of water consumed, a quarter (1/4) teaspoon of pure, uniodised, sea salt should be consumed. That means, if like most, you are drinking about 2 litres of water a day, then you will need to add a half (1/2) teaspoon of salt to your daily diet. This can be taken throughout the day with meals or with the water. It is therefore essential that your food does not have any ‘hidden’ salt. Salt Needs Good salt can be a source of up to 87 minerals and trace minerals, which are essential for health. Minerals are the essential electrically charged particles that give rise to cellular electricity. NOTE: if you are suffering from hypertension or any other chronic illness, it is essential that you address the Wet State in your body before undertaking a rigorous water and salt program.

Internal Cleansing All disease is the result of energy imbalance. This however, results in the accumulation of toxic waste and poisons in the tissue of the body. All symptoms of degeneration and disease are in fact an attempt by the body to cleanse itself of this build-up and restore full energy flow. Most toxins accumulate as a result of poor dietary habits. It is no secret that the typical Western diet consists of over-processed, devitalised foods grown with chemical fertilizers and sprayed with a multitude of toxic chemicals. Regularly ingesting these low-quality, frequently overcooked foods causes malnourishment of the many specialized cells in the body, to the point where they become dysfunctional and die. A second harmful aspect of the common diet is its high fat and low fibre content. Meat, fish, eggs, and dairy products tend to move through the digestive tract at a quarter of the pace of fresh fruits and vegetables. Fibreless foods tend to be sticky and gooey when digested, adhering easily to the walls of the colon as they pass through. This causes a gradual build-up of toxic residue, as layer upon layer of waste matter accumulates. Eventually, between 5 and 40 pounds of faecal material can be found residing in this important canal. Once the healing process begins, toxins and poisons will be released from the tissue. It is imperative that the colon is clear, so that the waste is removed from the body as quickly as possible. If it is not, it will flood the blood stream, exacerbating the condition and triggering more discomfort. It cannot be stressed enough … cleansing is essential!

Natural Elimination The four primary organs of elimination are the lungs, the skin, the kidneys and the colon. All deal with particular waste release and are vital for our health and vitality. The lungs release carbon dioxide, water vapour and heat in exhaled air; the skin releases water, salts and nitrogen in the form of sweat; the kidneys release excess water and the majority of metabolic waste as urine and the colon releases undigested, unabsorbed food, toxins and poisons through the faeces. If any one of these organs becomes congested, waste stagnates causing the other organs to compensate. This will compromise their own functioning, leading to toxification and eventual organ failure. While most people regard external bathing as an important part of their daily routine, few realise the value, let alone the absolute necessity, of internal bathing. Keeping our internal organs clean is a lifetime practice. It is an essential part of the 8-fold healing process, when illness and disease strike; however, it should also be a natural part of our regular health maintenance program. After all, we are constantly polluting our bodies, not only with our dietary choices, but also through the air we breathe and the water we drink. By regularly cleansing the body, and most specifically the major organs of elimination, many if not all diseases can be kept at bay.

Colon Psyllium Husk Cleanse This two-month program is the safest and most comfortable way to clear waste build-up from the colon. Once done, your body will have a greater ability to assimilate nutrients and eliminate cellular waste. You will also notice an increase in your energy levels as well as a decrease in numerous respiratory, digestive and skin conditions. Most interestingly, those who have a ‘spare tyre’ around their middle will lose it! While doing the cleanse, you will be able to continue your regular daily activities, as well as eating normally. To make it more effective, it is recommended that you eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. Cleanse Ingredients Psyllium husks provide the fibre and lubrication for the bowels. When taken with liquid, they expand into a jelly-like mass, scraping the walls of the intestine and gathering up faecal matter. They also counteract diarrhoea and regulate bowel functioning. As you advance with the cleanse, you will have fluffy, well-lubricated stools, with no straining. Just as Dr. Kellogg prescribed! Blackstrap molasses is a rich source of minerals and vitamins. It helps to carry the psyllium husks through the system, while also lubricating the intestines and regulating the bowel. Procedure For the first week, take 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals: 1 level teaspoon of whole psyllium husks 1 teaspoon Blackstrap Molasses Dissolve in 250 –350ml of warm water Drink immediately Drink another 250-350ml water Advance to full dosage, 3 times a day before meals: 1 level tablespoon of whole psyllium husks 1 teaspoon Blackstrap Molasses Dissolve in 250 –350ml of warm water Drink immediately Drink another 250-350ml water As you begin the program, you will experience intestinal gas and some bloating of the abdomen. This will only be at the beginning of the cleanse; however, if you find that you are too uncomfortable to perform your daily activities, decrease the dosage until your body adjusts to a comfortable level. When the discomfort is no longer a problem, return to the normal dosage. The bloating occurs as old faeces soften and swell with water. Once the old faeces are removed, your abdomen will not swell, even when taking the psyllium husks. After the cleanse, your abdomen will be flatter and you will feel much lighter.

For variety or convenience, you can occasionally drink the psyllium with fresh fruit juice. Always follow each psyllium drink with a glass of fresh water. While on the program, you should have at least 2 movements a day. It may take a few days or even a few weeks before you notice any difference in your bowel movements. This is due to the impactions in your colon. Don’t give up! The program is working; it may take longer to see results. As old decaying waste is stirred up, you may experience a lot of odour and gas. Once this waste has passed from your body, this will stop. However, you still have the waste matter that has fully decomposed and caked on the intestinal walls. This is the black, rubber-like mucoidal plaque. This too will be passed as black stools. Continue the program for two months. If you are over the age of 30, it may take one more month (3 months) to do a thorough cleansing. During the cleanse, you may have cold or flu-like symptoms and may also feel temporarily weak or nauseated. This is a cleansing reaction and is the body’s way of ridding itself of poisons that have lingered. When you are finished cleansing the tract, you should have large fluffy stools that float and break apart when the toilet is flushed. The colour of the stools should be uniform, not mixed colours. It is most important that you complete the full cleanse. While it may seem daunting at first, once you are underway, it will become a normal part of your daily routine. Always keep in mind the benefits that you will enjoy. Go the distance … and reap the rewards of your disciplined effort.

Internal Saltwater Bathing This is an alternative to conventional enemas and colonic irrigation, providing a top-down cleansing of the colon. It is necessary that you drink plenty of water (8 to 12 glasses) the day before you do this cleanse, so that you are adequately hydrated. First thing in the morning, before eating or drinking anything, mix two teaspoons of pure, uniodised sea salt in 1 litre of lukewarm water. Drink the full litre in one go or break it up into four glasses, drinking two glasses, taking a short break (no more than a minute or two) and then the other two glasses. The salty water has the same constituency as blood and will not be absorbed by the body. Instead, it will thoroughly wash the entire digestive tract in just a few hours. If the salt water does not work the first time around, try adjusting the amount of salt, until the proper balance is found; or try taking extra water, with or without salt. This often increases the activity. Be aware, loose motions may occur as quickly as 20 minutes after drinking the mixture and can last for up to 4 hours. In yoga practices, this method is known as Shankaprakshalana. It is often used in conjunction with particular asanas, or yoga postures, to assist the movement of the water through the body.

During fasting, this method can be used daily, to clear the released waste from the body. It is recommended as part of the Lemonade Diet, in conjunction with the Psyllium Husk Cleanse.

Promoting Healthy Bacteria A healthy population of lacto bacteria in the intestinal tract promotes bulky, well-lubricated stools as well as more frequent bowel movements. Colon cleansing may temporarily disrupt the bacteria colonies in the colon. Stools that are hard and broken indicate an overgrowth of harmful bacteria in the colon. Onions and cabbage are excellent foods for encouraging the growth of beneficial bacteria. Use these foods to help restore a healthy population of lacto bacteria during or after colon cleansing. One medium to large onion, eaten either cooked or raw every day, for several days, has a good effect. Cabbage may also be eaten daily for several days to reduce the putrefactive odour of one’s bowel movements. It feeds the lacto bacteria; while at the same time suppresses the growth of putrefactive bacteria. Drinking cabbage juice, sweetened with maple syrup or honey, two or three times a day is a powerful way to do this. Sauerkraut is another way of eating cabbage and promoting bulky, well-lubricated stools. Another powerful source of healthy bacteria is kefir. Acidophilus Drink (Rejuvelac) This drink helps to restore healthy digestion and elimination. It is teeming with live acidophilus and other lacto bacteria. Use daily as needed: • • • • • •

Place one cup of raw whole-wheat berries in a clean, litre glass jar. Add two cups of pure water. Cover the jar with cheesecloth, a piece of nylon stocking, or nylon mesh. Let the berries soak for three or four days, until small bubbles appear on the surface of the water. Strain off the water into a glass and then drink. The wheat-berries can be soaked again in 2 cups of fresh water. This time the drink is ready in about 24 hours.

Make sure that you are using fresh (within sell by date) berries, as the natural bacteria dissipate with time. Smell the drink before using it. If it smells offensive, don’t use it. Always drink it raw, adding some honey or maple syrup if you find the taste displeasing. It will not taste like a soft drink, but has a peculiar and unusual tang. It implants friendly bacteria into the intestinal tract much more efficiently than eating yoghurt or taking acidophilus capsules.

Parasites Most people believe that parasites are something that happens to other people; however, according to the World Health Organization, 3.5 billion people suffer from some type of parasitic infection. A parasite is an organism that lives on or in another organism on which it feeds. The word parasite comes from the Greek ‘parasitos’ which means one that stands at the meal of another. Bacteria and viruses are also parasites and the diseases they cause are parasitic diseases. Traditionally, however, biologists have used the term parasite in a more limited sense, referring only to the larger, more complex living things, such as protozoa and worms. Current research shows that parasites not only control the behavior of their hosts, they can also change entire ecosystems to suit their needs. Infestations may be severe or mild and can be life threatening, especially for children. A common side affect is poor absorption of critical nutrients that are essential for health and this can lead to a weakened immune function creating susceptibility for disease. Symptoms vary depending on the type and amount of infestation and can include abdominal pains, diarrhea, anemia, nausea, dysentery, weight loss, intestinal toxemia, colic and cirrhosis. It is important to remember that infection by pathogenic parasites is a symptom of ill health, rather than the simple or single cause. We are all surrounded by zillions of bacteria, fungi, worms, insects and predators all looking for an easy meal. In normal healthy circumstances, we are able to resist infection. It is only when the Living, Dry State is altered that our defences weaken and the parasite population becomes uncontrollable. As a result, illness and disease set in, providing the parasites with even more undefended nutrients. Common sources of parasites include raw or undercooked meat, fish and chicken, contaminated water, international travel and pets. According to health researcher, Dr Hulda Regehr Clark, parasites are a co-factor in almost every illness.

Clearing Parasites Clinical medicines tend to have a limited range of effect, killing only one or two parasites each. Side effects can include nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea. To effectively kill all parasites, it is necessary to take a cocktail of such drugs and this can make you quite ill. There are however, three herbs that can effectively kill over 100 types of parasites; without causing so much as a headache, nausea or without interfering with any drug that you are already on. The Herbs  Black Walnut Hulls (from the black walnut tree)  Wormwood (from the Artemisia shrub)  Common Cloves (from the clove tree) These three herbs must be used together as a single treatment. Black walnut hull and wormwood kill adults and developmental stages of at least 100 parasites, while cloves kill the eggs. If you kill only the adults, the tiny stages and eggs will soon grow into new adults. If you

kill only the eggs, the million stages already loose in your body will soon grow into adults and make more eggs. Only by using them together will you rid yourself of parasites. Friendly bacteria such as acidophilus and bifidus need to be replaced regularly, especially after a cleansing protocol.

Other Methods There are a number of natural foods that have powerful anti-parasitic effects. The following have been used by many cultures for centuries. Pumpkin Seeds Pumpkin seeds are a traditional remedy for worms. For threadworms, children should take 10 to 15 seeds a day and adults 20 to 30. The seeds should be chewed slowly and one hour later, 1 teaspoon of castor oil should be taken. Garlic Garlic was used by the ancient Egyptians to treat worm infestations and infections, by the Greeks and Romans for tumours, wounds and infections and by the Chinese for weakness, fatigue, infections and tumours. During World War 1 and 2, garlic was smeared on surface wounds and given as an antibiotic, saving many lives. Research has shown that garlic can kill more than 60 types of fungi, and more than 20 types of bacteria, including some of the most virulent. It is highly effective in helping to eliminate intestinal parasites, including Amoebic Dysentery. The active ingredient in garlic is called Allicin. To release the valuable allicin, the clove needs to be crushed or chewed. It is destroyed within one hour of crushing and being highly volatile, will lose up to 90% of its potential when cooked. It is therefore essential to use fresh, raw garlic. Interestingly, while pathogenic parasites are unable to develop resistance to allicin, lactic organisms and other beneficial bacteria are virtually unaffected. When using garlic, compress it with a spoon prior to swallowing it. If you swallow the clove intact you will not convert the allicin to its active ingredient. One problem of course, is the smell, but generally most people can tolerate a few cloves a day. If you do develop a socially offensive odor, then decrease the volume of garlic slightly, until there is no odor present. Another way to take garlic is to juice three cloves with four ounces of vegetable juice and drink it, repeating every two hours. Although less effective, you could also cut a garlic clove in half and rub it on the soles of your feet. Garlic pills are virtually worthless and should not be used.

Ginger Ginger is the most widely used and available herbal remedy on the planet. In eastern Asia, ginger consumption has long been recognized as a way to eliminate or guard against intestinal parasites. It is also a powerful anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal agent and has a long history as the herb of choice to treat colds and flu. Its strong expectorant and anti-histamine actions help to thin and move bronchial mucous out of the system.

Clinical findings reveal that ginger possesses a broad range of anti-parasitic effects including activity against some of the world's most widespread and dangerous parasites. Ginger contains a chemical called zingibain that dissolves parasites and their eggs. This antiparasitic effect is put to use preparing sushi. Sushi is traditionally eaten with pickled ginger, and ginger extract have been shown to kill the anisakid worm, a parasite sometimes carried in raw fish, within sixteen hours. For best results, chew a piece of fresh ginger root. Up to 3 tablespoons of raw ginger can be eaten without causing gastrointestinal discomfort. To make ginger tea, simmer 3/4 teaspoon of chopped ginger in 1 cup of hot water for five minutes in a closed teapot and drink up to 3 times a day. Ginger essential oil can be effectively used to kill roundworm.

The Zapper Dr Clark discovered that electricity could be used to kill bacteria, viruses and parasites in minutes, not days or weeks, as antibiotics require. She invented the Zapper, for this purpose. A zapper is an electrical device that selectively electrocutes pathogens using a voltage of 5 to 10 volts with a duration of seven minutes and a frequency of anything from 10 Hz to 500'000 Hz. It takes three treatments to kill everything. The first zapping kills viruses, bacteria and parasites. A few minutes later, other bacteria and viruses that have been infecting the parasites recur. The second zapping kills the released viruses and bacteria. A third zapping kills any remaining viruses. The Zapper should not be used during pregnancy or by anyone with a pacemaker. Metal Cleansing Our bodies often contain microscopic pieces of heavy metal like mercury, aluminum, lead and even iron. These tiny pieces of metal are like time bombs, waiting to cause trouble. They are almost the size of atoms, but are actually tiny pieces of metal, which are highly toxic. While generally overlooked by traditional medicine, these traces of heavy metals can influence and exacerbate most health conditions. Originating from our environment, our fillings and our diet, these traces of metal can become embedded in the tissue throughout the body; including the liver, the kidneys and the heart. It is vital that we understand the implications of this. Free radicals are an essential part of the life process within our bodies. However, when a free radical collides with a tiny piece of toxic metal, instead of this collision creating a single new free radical, there could be a chain-reaction of millions of new free radicals produced from this one impact. Each new free radical will then move off in a new direction, spreading throughout the body. Many of these new free radicals will hit other pieces of toxic metal, creating more free radicals, each of them capable of damaging our DNA and increasing our chances of ill health and disease. To counteract this, we need to prevent the metals from creating free radical chain reactions and we need to prevent free radicals from ever coming into contact with toxic metals in our bodies in the first place. Supplementing with antioxidants, like vitamin C and E, will assist in reducing free radical activity; however, the simplest way to clear metal buildup, is through oral chelation.

Oral Chelation First, do not attempt to fast during a heavy metal detoxification program and make sure you ingest a lot of protein. It is very important to have a high protein diet during a heavy metal cleanse, because the sulfur-bearing amino acids in the protein will greatly facilitate the detoxification. Cottage cheese is a good source of sulphur protein. Maintain 2 to 3 bowel movements per day, to clear the toxic waste from your body. If you are not having this many bowel movements per day, increase your intake of psyllium husk. The following natural methods of clearing heavy metals from the body have been tried and proven effective.

Coriander Japanese researcher Dr. Yoshiaki Omura discovered that the leaves of the coriander plant can accelerate the excretion of mercury, lead and aluminum from the body. While treating several patients for an eye infection with antibiotics, he found that the patients' symptoms would initially clear up and then recur within a few months. He experienced similar difficulties in treating viral related problems like Herpes Simplex. He noted that the microorganisms responsible for these conditions seemed to hide and flourish in areas of the body where there were concentrations of heavy metals like mercury, lead and

aluminum. Somehow the organisms were able to use the toxic metals to protect themselves from the antibiotics. While testing for these metals, Dr. Omura noticed that the mercury level in the urine of his patients increased, once they had consumed a healthy serving of Vietnamese soup. The soup contained Chinese parsley, or coriander. Further testing revealed that eating coriander also increased urinary excretion of lead and aluminum. He found that when coriander was used with antibiotics, or natural anti-viral agents and/or essential fatty acids, the infection could be eliminated for good. Dr. Omura’s remarkable discovery not only increases our ability to clear up recurring infections, both viral and bacterial; but also perhaps more importantly, provides an inexpensive, easy way to remove or ‘chelate’ toxic metals from the brain, nervous system and body tissue. You can buy fresh coriander from most grocery stores and add it to salads, soups and freshly squeezed vegetable juices.

Chlorella Chlorella is a chlorophyll-rich algae, which binds to heavy metals. It is an important part of the detoxification program, as approximately 90% of the mercury in our bodies is eliminated through the stool. Because it is one of the purest, most potent foods on earth, it is almost impossible to take too much chlorella. It is however important, to use the highest quality you can obtain, as poorer sources may already be contaminated with metals.

Sweating The skin is the body's largest detoxification organ and sweating can help to draw mercury from the body. Saunas are a useful adjunct to safe mercury removal because they induce copious sweating. Initiate sweating and increased circulation by exercising for 20 minutes three times a day on a mini trampoline. Immediately following the exercise, sit in a sauna for up to 30 minutes and then take a cool shower. The temperature from a low heat sauna should be between 140 to 180 degrees F. in contrast to the 200 to 210 degrees F. for a non-therapeutic standard sauna. The sauna may be followed by a plunge into a bath or under a shower whose temperature is 65 degrees F. Over a period of three to four days, increase your time in the sauna to a total of up to two hours, divided into 30minute periods with a short cooling-off period in between. It's important to shower and towel dry because the removal of sweat prevents reabsorption of toxins. While doing the sauna program, consume adequate amounts of water to avoid dehydration. This is a minimum of two liters before and after entering the sauna. Replace your electrolytes lost to perspiration with grape or prune juice and drink vegetable juices to replace calcium and magnesium lost through the skin.

Healing Clay Clay is renowned to have many uses in promoting health in plants, animals and humans. Bentonite, Montmorillonite, Zeolite and other types of healing clays are derived from deposits of volcanic ash and have been used by indigenous cultures since before recorded history.

Studies show that the internal use clay supports the intestinal system in the elimination of toxins. Healing mud also reduces pain and infection in open wounds on both humans and animals. When used in a bath, clay can actually draw out toxic chemicals and metals through the pores of the skin. When combined with water, the clay is stretched open like a highly porous sponge, providing an enormous surface area. Toxins are then electrically drawn and bound to the clay and eliminated from the body. Apart from its ability to clear toxins, clay also provides a wide range of trace minerals, which enable the body to assimilate nutrients.

Kidney Cleansing One of the most common medical problems today is kidney malfunction and kidney stones. Common causes are excess uric acid and oxalic acids in the elimination system from foods such as red meat, carbonated drinks, sugar, caffeine, aspirin, refined salt, and chemical diuretics. Minerals in drinking water that the body is unable to assimilate can also contribute to kidney problems. It is very important to drink pure, structured water. Chlorinated tap water and bottled mineral water can aggravate the kidneys. Many people suffering from kidney pain have found relief simply by changing to a pure water source and increasing their water consumption. It is also important to increase your water consumption when doing a kidney cleanse.

Apple Juice This kidney cleanse is an easy, inexpensive and painless alternative to surgery. It can be used as a preventative maintenance, to flush the kidneys before problems occur; as well as once kidney stones have been discovered. It softens kidney stones and allows stones as big as the end of your thumb to pass without pain. The ingredients are simple and it takes just three days to complete. Drink fresh pressed, unsweetened apple juice and structured distilled water for three days. You may drink up to 4 litres of each per day, mixing the apple juice with the water if you choose. Although this is a fast, the apple juice will give you energy through the day and keep you from being hungry. The best time to do this cleanse is when you are at home relaxing. Break the fast gently, with some apples for roughage and gradually introduce more solid foods. Eat simply, favouring raw fruits, vegetables and a simple vegetable broth.

Watermelon Seed Tea Watermelon seed tea acts as a stimulant to cleanse and purify the kidneys and bladder. Prepare the tea by pouring 500ml of boiling water over a tablespoonful of watermelon seed (ground or cut) and allow it to steep. Let it cool, then strain and drink it at least once a day, three days a week. If practical, the tea should be made fresh for each use.

Watermelon Cleanse (Not for people with diabetes) This is the easiest way to cleanse the kidneys. Buy a few large watermelons and then sit in a warm bath and eat all the watermelon throughout the day (or as much as you can). When necessary, empty your bladder into the bathwater. This will facilitate a comfortable passing of any stones.

Liver and Gallbladder Cleansing More than 50% of people over the age of 50 are affected by the condition known as ‘Fatty Liver’. This is primarily due to poor diet, excessive alcohol intake and adverse reaction to pharmaceutical drugs and toxic chemicals. Gallbladder surgery is the 3rd most commonly performed operation in the United States, with up to 500 000 gallbladders removed every year! One of the causes of gallstones is the body’s inability to digest certain fatty or processed foods. Hydrogenated fats and oils are primary culprits. If the gallstones are not passed harmlessly into the intestine, they can block up the ducts of the gallbladder. As the ducts contract, to release the blockage, excruciating pain is experienced, which shoots up and across the right ribcage towards the hearts. This is often accompanied by nausea and vomiting. Interestingly, more women than men have gallstones.

Whole Lemon Drink The following simple home remedy is a useful complement to any health maintenance program. It helps to detoxify the liver and normalise saliva pH and has been successfully used to treat neuropathy, swollen lymph glands and wasting syndrome. It promotes appropriate weight gain by increasing the absorption of nutrients and amino acids. There has been much controversy about its recommendation for the treatment of AIDS symptoms. However, it should be noted, that there are no claims that the lemon drink ‘cures’ AIDS’; rather it is suggested that it assists liver function and restores the body’s natural chemical balance. Recipe Wash a lemon well and scrape off any markings from artificial colouring. Cut it up and put the whole lemon into the blender. Add 1 cup of freshly squeezed orange juice and 1 tablespoon of cold pressed Extra-Virgin Olive Oil. You could use a cup of water and 4 rounded Tablespoons frozen Orange Juice concentrate. Blend the mixture at high speed for one minute and then pour it through a strainer to remove the pulp. Use a spatula to press the pulp through the strainer and discard the pulp. Divide the resulting drink into 2 or 3 portions. To improve the absorption of nutrients, drink one portion with each meal. Otherwise, you may drink it all at once or at anytime during the day. If you have problems sleeping, drink the last portion just before you retire, as it will help you to get a good night’s sleep. The therapeutic value of this drink comes from the whole lemon and the extra-virgin olive oil. The orange juice is added as a sweetener. Other fruit juice may be used in place of the orange. However, if you have thrush or yeast overgrowth avoid fruit juice, which stimulates growth of yeast, and use plain water.

Why It Works Lemon juice and olive oil increases the flow of bile, draining accumulated toxins and poisons from the liver. Lymph fluid then drains into the liver for processing and eliminating waste products of cellular metabolism. This assists in reducing the size of the lymph nodes. The pectin from citrus rinds helps in the assimilation of fats and oils. You will notice that the olive oil is totally dispersed throughout the whole lemon-orange drink. This is caused by the pectin in the rind of the lemon. The proof of absorption of the oil is indicated by the rapid return of saliva pH to normal-6.4. In addition, the lemon juice acts on proteins and minerals for better assimilation. This drink should be used with all dietary supplements to improve their assimilation. The primary cause of toxicity in the body is the buildup of toxins and waste matter from cells in the liver and in the lymphatic system. Toxicity impairs the functioning of the liver and most other glands and organs and can cause mental depression, nausea, fatigue, loss of appetite and lowered output of digestive acids and enzymes. Lecithin is the most important nutrient to take to prevent or reverse neuropathy. However, if it is not absorbed, it will do no good. When painful neuropathy is present, a tablespoon of Lecithin granules should be added to the ‘Whole Lemon’ drink and consumed each day. In addition, castor oil packs with a heating pad should be used over the liver area for one hour each day.

Coffee Enema The use of coffee in enemas for detoxification purposes is well known. It is a common herbalogical remedy that has been suggested by holistic and alternative medicine professionals for many years. It is used extensively in Gerson Cancer Therapy. Why it works The effects of a coffee enema are different to a saline enema. The most important difference between a saline enema and a coffee enema is the presence of caffeine in the coffee. Caffeine stimulates the relaxation of smooth muscles causing dilatation of blood vessels and bile ducts. The effects of having a coffee enema are not the same as drinking coffee. The veins of the anus are very close to the surface of the tissue. The caffeine is therefore absorbed more quickly (and in higher concentration) than it is in when coffee is drunk. Liver benefits Additionally, the enzymes in coffee, known as palmitates, help the liver carry away the toxins in bile acid. The coffee is absorbed into the haemorrhoidal vein and then taken up to the liver by the portal vein. With the bile ducts dilated, bile carries toxins away to the gastro-intestinal tract. Simultaneously, peristaltic activity is encouraged because of the flooding of the lower colon. Thus, when the colon is evacuated, the toxins and bile are carried out of the body. Supplies You will need a re-usable enema kit, available at most pharmacies; some distilled water; organic coffee (any roasting level will do) and a French Press pot. Preparing the Coffee Bring 8 cups of water to a boil. Grind 8-heaped teaspoonfuls of organic coffee and put it in the French press pot. Pour the water over the coffee grounds and let it steep and then cool for one hour.

After this amount of time, the liquid should be about body temperature. Test it by putting your finger in the water; it should be lukewarm, but not hot. Press the coffee grounds to the bottom, and then pour the coffee liquid into the enema bag. Directions Follow the directions that accompany the enema kit. Lie on your right side, inject and retain the coffee for about 12 minutes. Lightly massage your abdomen from left to right (up the left side, and then left to right just below the navel). It is advisable to change positions while retaining the coffee. After a few minutes turn over onto your back, a few minutes later switch to your left side before evacuating your bowels. Duct Sensations When the bile duct empties, you will hear or feel a squirting sensation in the area of your right rib cage. After feeling the bile emptying, you can stop taking enemas for that day. If you do not feel the bile duct emptying after one week of daily enemas, increase the strength of the coffee or take slightly larger volume enemas. You should not feel nervous or jittery after the enema because the coffee does not get absorbed systemically. If you do feel nervous, jittery, have palpitations, or irregular heartbeats, after a coffee enema; reduce the amount of coffee by half or more. Repeat enemas as needed to detoxify chemical toxins and/or allergic reactions. Milk Thistle Milk thistle is a well-known tonic herb for the liver. The active ingredients, collected mainly from the seeds, are collectively called silymarin. Silymarin protects the liver by altering and strengthening the liver cell membranes, preventing toxins from entering the cells, and by stimulating the formation of new liver cells. As an anti-oxidant, it reduces liver damage caused by the chronic use of certain prescription drugs and by increasing bile solubility, it also helps to prevent or alleviate gallstones.

Cleansing Reminder When dealing with any health condition, it is essential to do all of the major cleanses. This will ensure waste elimination and prevent additional toxic damage. Otherwise, cleansing should be done twice yearly for health maintenance. Nutrition To restore health and rejuvenate your body, it is essential that you now provide your cells with the best quality ‘groceries’. As Hippocrates, the father of medicine said: ‘Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food’. All the best intention in the world will not build new tissue. As the pathway of degeneration and disease progresses, essential nutrients are sacrificed to slow the ravages of the oxidation process. Whether you are experiencing energy loss, or have been diagnosed with a chronic condition label, you are suffering from malnutrition. Your cells are not getting their groceries and are quite literally starving. This does not relate in any way to your body size. Large or small, the cellular effect is the same; you need ‘groceries’. This is why it is essential that you first address the Wet State by clearing the clustered blood protein and accumulated fluid build up. Without doing so, your efforts will be in vain.

What to Eat With so many differing opinions, perhaps a good place to start would be to suggest what not to eat. Once again, whether you are looking for more energy, or dealing with a chronic health condition, it is absolutely essential that you cut out all of the following from your diet: • • • • • • • • • • •

All fast food and junk food All processed food All refined food All artificially flavoured food All artificially coloured food All artificially preserved food All genetically modified food All food with added salt All food with added sugar All transfatty acids (hydrogenated oils) and fried foods All produce that has been irradiated or treated with chemical fertilisers, pesticides, herbicides, hormones, steroids and antibiotics.

I can almost hear you cry out, ‘But that leaves nothing in my cupboards!’ All of these foods are unnatural, threatening to your body and are contributing to your growing Wet State. Just by making this change, you will notice an immediate health improvement. We could get even more pedantic and suggest only eating organic, free range, fresh, raw foods that come from within 30kms of where you live. However, our goal is to ensure that you restore your health as quickly as possible. Any untoward stress will only complicate things, creating more trapped blood protein. Rest assured, it is only cells that are in an unnatural state that will demand unnatural foods. The healthier you become, the easier it will be to maintain a more natural and healthy diet. Your cells will simply demand quality rather than quantity.

Many people are concerned that they will have to sacrifice their favourite foods in order to find health. Remember, your body never does anything unnatural … it simply responds naturally to unnatural situations. The only reason we ‘love’ unnatural foods, is because our unhealthy cells are demanding them. Once the Dry State is restored, cellular demands change. As your body becomes healthier, you will find your tastes changing to more natural and healthier food choices. You will even find that your favourite foods do not taste as good as they used to. A sure sign of progress!

Whole Foods The healthy diet of choice must be a whole food diet; after all, the word health comes from the word whole. This means that your food must be as close to its original, natural state as possible. A good rule of thumb would be: you must be able to recognise your food as it was found in Nature. In other words, a fish finger does not look like something that swam in the sea; a hamburger does not look like a piece of animal and a chip does not look like it grew in the soil. It is a sad fact that most children believe that food comes from tins, packets and boxes. To restore and maintain health, your body needs fresh, whole food. Whether you are a meat eater or a vegetarian, your first step is to look for wholesome, natural food. Wherever possible, choose organic and free range. However, it is more important to first go natural. Fine-tuning will come along the way.

The 70 – 30 Rule The optimal diet for health and longevity is the Eden Diet - a diet of raw fruits, green and leafy vegetables and sprouted seeds, nuts and grains. However, due to the Wet State, most people have compromised diets. To prevent additional stress, some concentrated foods can be consumed, while the Wet State is being addressed. It is essential that these concentrated foods are supplemented with adequate hydration and enzymes; and they need to be as whole and natural as possible. Seventy percent of the diet must follow the Eden plan, while the other thirty percent can be made up of concentrated protein and carbohydrates. Concentrated protein and carbohydrates should not be combined at the same meal, as they need different digestive juices to be broken down. Protein needs an acid medium, while carbohydrates need an alkaline one. Mixing the two neutralises these juices, resulting in poor digestion.

Sequential Eating Always eat the most easily digested or watery foods first. If there are 4 different types of food in the stomach at one meal, each eaten in sequence and separately, there will be 4 different kinds of digestion going on at the same time, each layer having different enzymes digesting each food, according to the needs of the food contained in that layer.

If however, the foods are combined and the stomach is filled with a mixture of all 4 foods, the quick digesting foods will have to wait for the slowest digesting foods before the mix leaves the stomach. While waiting, some of the simple starches will begin decomposing and fermenting, causing gas, acid and indigestion.

Minimal Eating Always eat small portions. Eating too much is a major energy waster. Ideally, eat a small meal of no more than 4 foods at a sitting, about 5 or 6 times a day. This will lighten the burden on your digestive system, ensuring maximum digestion and minimum energy loss. Your stomach is about the size of your fist. Ideally, if you were to blend your meal, it should fit comfortably into a fist-sized bowl. For best digestion, eat slowly and chew all foods close to liquid before swallowing. Variety and moderation are essential for you to get all the essential nutrients that you need, while not losing any energy unnecessarily.

Supplements Having ’cursed’ the soil, by depleting essential minerals and devastating vital microbial life forms through constant farming and the use of fertilizers, pesticides and other unnatural crop stimulants; it is now necessary to provide additional nutrients to ensure rapid recovery. This can be done through the use of fresh pressed fruit and vegetable juices as well as whole food supplements. The most essential nutrients involved in turning food into energy can be found in a high strength, ‘Food State’ multi-vitamin and mineral supplement. Additional vitamin C should also be taken. Shop wisely, as synthetic supplements do not make the grade. Other useful supplements include Barley Green, Spirulina, Sportron ‘Food State’, Cellfood and N-Code. Note: supplements should never replace living food.

The Budwig Diet Discovered by Dr. Johanna Budwig, the key to this program is using two specific nutrients that rebuild the cell wall and increase cellular oxygenation. Sulphur protein and essential fatty acids can most easily be found in cottage and flax seed oil. When our cellular ‘batteries’ are fully charged and generating their potential, we feel ‘alive’ and in harmony with life. If our energy wanes, we immediately ‘feel’ the difference. How we feel, is an indication of how much energy we have in circulation. A simple way of thinking of emotion could be ‘E … Motion’, or energy in motion. When our energy is free and flowing, we feel pure emotion or love. All feelings are simply positive or negative degrees of love, or energy in motion.

You’ve lost that Loving Feeling There is only one reason that we lose our energy potential … we stop breathing and we stop moving. We simply get stuck in our experiences. ‘It’ or ‘they’ become more important than our breath and the continuous motion of life. No one or no thing can ‘steal’ our energy’. Forgive Them … The road to health begins with forgiveness. We cannot expect ourselves or anyone else to feel or behave optimally, if we do not have access to our full energetic potential. We are all simply doing the best we know how. So forgive yourself, you now know better. Take back control of your life force and do something about your health and vitality. Forgive others; they too are simply doing their best. Release them from their energetic obligations; ‘they’ don’t owe you anything! Become aware of ‘feeding’ addictions. ‘Feeders’ are habits, beliefs, people, places and things that demand attention and energy. They are stealing your energy! To jump-start your return to health, you must cut out all fear mongering and stay away from pessimists. They need energy and will drain you as fast as you can recharge. What you need right now is love and encouragement. You can do this; just take it one step at a time. Make sure that you are in a loving, natural environment, surrounded by a caring support team who understand your needs. These are the ‘jumper cables’ that will re-mind you of your full energy potential. At this time, you need as much encouragement and reassurance that you can get, so that you can rebuild your energy levels as quickly as possible. Forgiveness Exercise Find a piece of paper and a pen and draw a vertical line down the center of the page, dividing the page into two columns. In one column, list all the people, places and things that negatively influence your life. These are the ‘feeders’, who drain your energy. In the other column, list the people, places and things that positively influence your life. These are your ‘jumper cables’, who uplift you Once you have completed your list, read it through and note how much time you spend with ‘feeders’ and ‘jumper cables’. You now need to make a conscious decision to spend as little time as possible with the feeders and as much time as possible with the ‘jumper cables’. This is an essential part of the road to recovery. Once you have more energy, you will be more able to cope with energy demanding people.

Payback Time Having externalised our attention for so long, it is time to end the great mind/body separation and enjoy some quality personal time. When last did you really appreciate your incredible body?

Appreciation Exercise - Stop for a moment and take a deep relaxing breath and notice how you feel. Now go to a mirror and look at yourself. You are not looking for anything in particular, simply observing. Notice how you feel, when you see yourself. It is very important that you keep all judgement out of the exercise. Just look and feel. Examine every part of your body in the mirror, take your time and pay attention to your feelings. Don’t forget to breathe! If you are comfortable, undress and once again, without any judgement or intent, simply look at yourself and be aware of any feelings that arise. If you feel any discomfort, acknowledge your feelings, relax your body and breathe deeply. Imagine that your body is your child. Pay particular attention to any part of your body that evokes unloving feelings. Imagine them as frightened, sad and lonely children; all they want is your attention, all they want is love. Breathe deeply and gently squeeze these parts, reassuring them that you care. Rub your hands together and gently place them over any areas of pain; feel the warm sensation of energy flowing in those areas. Now look directly into your eyes, take a deep breath and quietly say: ‘I love you body’. Notice how you feel. If you feel any discomfort, remind yourself; ‘I am amazing, I have an incredible energy potential. I am just not feeling it right now’. It’s time to feel good about yourself … It’s time to clear your trapped blood protein and restore your Living Dry State … It’s time to switch yourself on!

Attitude Balancing The moment our minds become engrossed with the outside world, we lose awareness of our bodies, stop breathing and our energy wanes. Alerted by a real or imaginary threat, our bodies tense in preparation for fight or flight. This internal stress compresses our energy, giving rise to strong feelings or attitudes, which further fuel our emergency response. Unless we release this build up of energy and resolve our conflict, the stress and tension remain locked in our bodies. Our minds may move on from the experience, but our bodies are left behind, trapped in tension and waiting to respond.

The primary attitudes that arise from any imbalance along the meridians are worry, fear, anger, sadness and pretence. There are 3 ways that we can deal with these attitudes. 1. We can act upon them, allowing the energy to pass through us and out of our system. 2. We can repress our feelings, locking the energy in our bodies, where it can manifest as symptoms. 3. We can acknowledge them and do something to release the pent up energy. The simplest way to release attitudes and balance our energy flow is to literally take the matter into our own hands. Our hands are symbolically our ‘second brain’. The moment we feel unable to ‘handle’ life’s experiences, our mind separates from our body and we become fragmented.

Finger Holds According to the Japanese Art of Jin Shin Jyutsu, each meridian is connected to a particular finger or thumb. These are the simple unlocking keys that we can use to release energy build up in the body, harmonise our attitudes and restore our mind - body connection. By gently wrapping the fingers and thumb of one hand around the relevant attitude finger or thumb of the other hand, we are able to drain and balance the energy in the meridians. Exercise - Hold each finger for a few minutes, while relaxing your whole body and breathing deeply. You can do this seated quietly or during the day when you may find yourself experiencing strong emotions. This exercise is very effective at night when you are in bed, to clear the energy of the day so that you can sleep soundly. You can also use it in the morning to start the day clear and centered. The finger holds do not change the situation or the reality of what you are experiencing. You will however, be more able to make clear decisions, because you are centered and not controlled by emotion. As you hold a finger, you will begin to feel an energy pulse or throbbing sensation. This usually happens within a minute or two and indicates that the energy is flowing and balanced. Often the strong feeling or emotion simply passes. Many of these finger holds are done naturally without us even being aware that we are doing them. Begin to be aware of how you hold your hands and fingers at different times and how this may relate to your feelings. It is fascinating to observe this in children and adults when they are fearful, anxious, or angry.

Finger Guide Thumb - The thumb can help to discharge unnecessary worry, nervousness and anxiety, saving energy for action. Breathe deeply while ‘holding thumbs’. With each out breath, let go of all worry and anxiety and then breathe in a deep sense of peace and security, knowing that in the midst of life's problems, you have all the energy you need. Index Finger - Traumatic stress often evokes feelings of fear or panic. This is because we are ‘pointing the finger’ at others and holding ‘them’ responsible for our energy. Use the index finger to learn how to work with fear, rather than being a victim of it. While holding the index finger, exhale and let go of fear and inhale courage and strength of being.

Middle Finger – Anger arises when things don’t go our own way and can result in violence toward others or ourselves. In truth, it is simply a sign that we are out of the flow. Acting with non-violence means that we recognize the injustice and anger in a situation and choose instead to act with justice and peace. Denying or repressing anger can result in passiveaggressive behaviour or physical symptoms in the body. When you have the urge to ‘flip the bird’, hold your middle finger, exhale and let go of all anger and rage; then inhale compassion, energy and passion into your being. Ring Finger - The ring finger is for tears, grief and emotional pain. As the relationship finger, it suggests ‘if you break my heart, I will be very sad’. The finger hold does not repress tears or sorrow, but allows the energy to move through you until you feel calm. Hold the ring finger, breathe deeply and exhale all the grief and sorrow that you feel. Breathe in deeply to fill yourself with peace and comfort. Little Finger - When feeling like a victim of circumstance, we often try too hard, or pretend to be what we're not. Picture yourself having ‘tea with the queen’, little finger extended. Holding the small finger is a way to take control of feelings of unworthiness and low self-esteem. To let go of being a victim, it is important first to recognize what we get out of being a victim - attention, pity, another’s concern. Hold the little finger and breathe deeply, exhaling and letting go of insecurity and unworthiness. Breathe in gratitude and appreciation for the gift of life. The simplest way to balance all of the attitudes is simply to place your hands in a prayer-like position and breathe.

Mental Balance Whether you think you can succeed or fail, in both instances, you are right. For any health program to succeed you must want to be healthy; you must want to live. The mere thought of weakness and ill health is enough to bring about its reality. There are numerous stories that reveal the unfortunate plight of individuals who have succumbed to a diagnosed disease, only for it to be discovered too late that they had been given someone else’s test results. When we are up, we are invincible; however, when we are down, no amount of encouragement can save us. Understanding the human mind is at best a fallible science, when we realise that the only tool we have to discern with is another human mind. Before beginning any journey of health, we must be certain about what it is that we are actually looking for. The word health comes from the word whole or wholeness. Your health relies on you being whole, complete, with all of your parts functioning perfectly. Therefore being healthy means having boundless energy, always being physically, emotionally and mentally youthful, vital and strong and living a life that is pain free and disease free. Before you can raise your frequency, you need to know what your current frequency is. Are you aware of what you are thinking? Are your thoughts wholesome? Do you think that you are healthy? Now ask yourself, what is the definition of health that you actually believe in? If you are not experiencing optimum health right now, then on some level, you do not actually believe in it. A belief is a meaningful thought, or a thought that has been emotionally or energetically experienced. Exercise Think right now … ‘I am healthy’. Now think and feel … I love being healthy. Did you notice a difference? Say these words out loud … ‘I am healthy’. Now say these words out loud and with enthusiasm … ‘I love being healthy’. Did you notice a difference? How did it feel? When you add emotion or energy to your thoughts, you turn potential into a reality.

Stilling the Mind The mind has a natural ability to be still. However, it cannot become quiet until the clutter of thought is cleared from our nervous system. The process of systematically clearing the mind for specific periods of time each day is known as passive meditation. With regular practice, the benefits gradually become more evident in our daily lives, when we are not meditating. As a result of this expanded awareness, our relationship with our self and the world changes. One of the most scientifically studied forms of meditation is Transcendental Meditation. TM practitioners are able to enter a calm state of alertness, demonstrating reduced heart output, lowered oxygen consumption and increased alpha-wave activity. These are all signs of a deep state of body restfulness and heightened mental awareness, also known as transcendence. This is simply another word for living in the moment. To achieve this state, the practitioners quietly repeat a mantra, which is a word or sound that entrains the brain to bring about body relaxation and lower brain wave patterns. One of the most powerful mantras to use is ‘I Am’. This is a very balanced and stable sound that works deeply to cleanse the nervous system. ‘I Am’ triggers the questions ‘who’, ‘what’, ‘where’, ‘when’ and ‘why’, which prompts the mind to release all thought related to self-identity. These are the thoughts that have limited and restricted our potential. As they surface, we simply return the mind to our potential … ‘I Am’.

Meditation Practice The technique is very simple and can be mastered in only three minutes. First, set aside a regular time and place to practice, somewhere that is relatively quiet, where you won’t be disturbed. After you have been practicing for a while, you will be able to meditate almost anywhere. To gain maximum benefits, you should meditate for 15 to 20 minutes twice a day. The position you assume should be comfortable, so that you feel at ease and are able to relax. Lying down is not recommended, as it triggers the sleep response. Once you are comfortable, close your eyes to shut out any distractions; take a couple of slow, deep relaxing breaths and simply notice your thoughts. After about a minute, begin quietly repeating your mantra easily and effortlessly in your mind. Allow the mantra to simply flow out of you, rather than trying to think it. It can synchronise with your breath or not; it can be fast or slow. Try to think of nothing but your mantra. If you find your mind wandering, or outside thoughts begin to creep in, gently let them go, without giving them any meaning and return your awareness to your mantra. The goal is to follow the simple procedure of thinking the mantra, losing it and then coming back to it when you find you have lost it. Don’t worry if you drift off to sleep, with practice, this will stop being a problem. After 20 minutes of meditation, you may feel as though you have just taken a nap. It is important that you do not try too hard. Relax and simply allow the mantra to flow.

Ultimate Meditation Energy will only truly flow, when your mind is still. However, rather than trying to empty your mind, as is the tradition, fill it with every nuance and sensory experience of the moment. Once your mind is fully entrained, it will not limit or define your experience. A pure flow of energy means pure health. The following technique integrates all of the key components of meditation practice – relaxation, focused mental stillness and continuous connected breathing. It rapidly restores the union of mind and body and returns our awareness to the ever-present moment. As such, it is the most powerful technique that you can include in your health program. Once understood, it can be practiced anywhere, at anytime in as little as 3 simple breaths. Eventually, it should become your natural, moment-by-moment state of awareness. Exercise - Sitting or lying with a straight back, make yourself as comfortable as possible, moving if necessary. Become aware of your breathing. Notice the cool sensation of breath entering your nose and feel the expanding movements in your chest and belly. Pay attention to the sound of your breathing. As you naturally release the breath, notice the cool sensation in your nose and the corresponding movements in your chest and belly. Once again listen to your breath. Relax and breathe freely, allowing the inbreath to naturally follow the outbreath. Picture the waves of the ocean coming up onto the beach and then subsiding back into the ocean. After a period, expand your awareness to include your heartbeat as your chest expands with your inbreath. Feel the rhythm and pulse of your heart. Make sure that you are feeling the breath, hearing the breath, feeling the movements in your chest and belly and feeling your heartbeat! It has now been scientifically proven, that if your mind is asked to focus on more than one sensory experience at a time, it becomes still. Become aware of the vital life force that you are drawing in with every breath. In Indian culture, this life force is known as ‘prana’ or energy. As you breathe, you are quite literally plugging in to Nature. Your beating heart symbolizes this life force now flowing through your blood stream. Every cell in your body is nourished and sustained by this free flow of energy. As long as your mind is fully aware of this experience, it cannot limit or define it. In this way you are able to get the most from every experience. Now add to your sensory experience, by expanding your awareness to include your hands. In other words be aware of your nose, your heart and your hands. Now focus on your feet … and now your face. Now expand your awareness to include your whole body. Nose … heart and body … all at once.

You can practice this exercise as a daily meditation for 20 minutes, or you can practice it throughout the day. Remember, to get the most from every experience, you want to be fully in the moment. This will only happen when you stop thinking. The quickest way to do that is to expand your awareness through your senses. As soon as your mind defines an experience, it becomes limited. Whether you are in a supermarket, writing on a computer or listening to someone who is talking to you; your priority is to keep your energy flowing. Every time you stop to think, you stop! Your energy wanes and you begin to age. Before you think, say or do anything, make sure you are plugged in … nose … heart … body.

Hypno-Cybernetics Combining hypnosis (a means to access the Alpha level) and cybernetics (a means to instruct or program an automated device or living thing), Hypno-Cybernetics (HC) is a fast and efficient method for accessing and reprogramming the subconscious mind. Recognizing that every motion of the body, whether voluntary or involuntary, stems from the mind, HC uses a simple finger movement to establish communication with the subconscious mind. Once learnt, the technique can be used in any situation to rapidly alter your level of consciousness and reprogram your mind. The following three simple exercises will prepare you for the full Hypno-Cybernetics technique: Exercise 1 - To demonstrate the effect of the mind on the body, read the following instructions and then perform the exercise described. Hold your arms out parallel in front of you, with your palms facing each other a few inches apart and your thumbs up. Now close your eyes and visualize a shopping bag over your left wrist. It is full of canned goods and is very heavy. Also visualize a balloon filled with helium attached to your right wrist. It is so light; it pulls your right arm up. Continue your visualization, until you can picture and feel the heavy shopping bag pulling down on your left wrist and the light balloon pulling up on your right wrist. When you are sure you have visualized ‘as if it were true’, open your eyes. Now, before you read any further, do the exercise. If you pretended that the bag and balloon were really there, when you opened your eyes, you would have found that your left arm was lower than your right arm. For some it may have only been a slight difference, for others, there may have been a marked difference. If you are not satisfied with your results, do the exercise again, until you see good results.

Don’t let your conscious mind move your arms; use it to imagine the shopping bag and the balloon. Forget your arms and let your subconscious or automatic mind do the rest. The key is to relax and really ‘see’ and ‘feel’ the experience. This demonstrates that when we imagine something as if it were true, our body behaves as if it were true. When we use our imagination, while in the Alpha State, the effect on the body is even more pronounced. Exercise 2 - To clear your mind so that your mental images can get through, practice the following relaxing exercise. Sit comfortably in a chair, with your hands on your lap. Visualize yourself in a gray room. It has four walls, a ceiling and a floor – all light gray. The walls are impenetrable. Sounds cannot be heard; even thoughts cannot enter the light gray room to run through your mind. Imagine that you have no consciousness of your body and no concern about the outside world. Nobody wants anything, nobody needs anything; there is nothing whatsoever for you to do but relax and enjoy pure peace of mind for a minute or two. Before reading any further, do the exercise. Notice how rested you feel. Practice the exercise again, and notice how your mind enjoys the rest. Exercise 3 – This final exercise takes advantage of the previous two. Our first exercise proved to us that if we pretend something is so in our imagination, our body reacts as if it were indeed so. The imagined picture becomes true. The second exercise enables us to quiet our mind for a minute or two, so that we can get a better mental picture. Now we will quiet our mind and picture ourselves as an illumined self-reliant person. For this you need to choose an event that you understand to be the ultimate in recognition, something familiar that you have witnessed. Choose something that makes your heart swell up with pride. Here are some examples: 

You are being toasted at a ceremonial dinner in your honour.



You are receiving a standing ovation after being named man or woman of the year.



You have just been cited for setting a new company record.



You are making the valedictorian address at your graduation.



You are being embraced by the partner of your dreams, who expresses love for you.

Select a positive mental image that you find the easiest to visualize happening and then make yourself comfortable in a chair and close your eyes.

Picture yourself in the same room that you used in exercise 2, only this time there are no light gray walls. Instead, you are bathed in beams of brilliant white light. See the event that you have selected happening to you as if it were true. Enjoy it for at least a minute. Stop reading and do the exercise now. As with exercise 1, when you put an image into your mind and really experience it, the action on your body begins immediately. The more often you do this exercise, the greater the difference you will notice in your own feeling and opinion of yourself. By doing this, you are greatly improving your self-reliance and self-image. As a result, you become a stronger, more success oriented person day by day. The 3 Steps of Hypno-Cybernetics The following three simple steps are all you need to relax your body and mind, reach your subconscious and reprogram your life. Read through the instructions carefully and then take the exercise step by step. Pay special attention to Step number 2. The more ‘rise’ you can get, the better. A small movement is fine, but why not try for the whole hand. The key to success is regular practice. Step 1 - Relax comfortably in a chair, preferably a straight-backed chair without arms and loosen all tight clothing. Close your eyes, take a deep, slow relaxing breath and become aware of your body. Step 2 - This is called the ‘automatic finger signal’. It is a way to determine when your subconscious is ready to accept new suggestions. Rest your hands on your thighs, palms down. Become aware of your hands. Feel their weight on your thighs and feel their warmth. Concentrate on the weight and become as sensitive as possible to a weight difference. One hand will feel lighter than the other. Notice the subtle difference. Once you are aware of the difference, concentrate on the lighter hand. Notice the lightness. Focus on any feelings that you may notice - heat, tingling, texture of the cloth or skin on which it is resting. It is important to concentrate on the sensation of lightness. Whatever sensation you feel in the lighter hand, concentrate on that. Bring all of your concentration to the index finger of the lighter hand. It is now extremely light. Notice all of the other sensations – texture, warmth, tingling, whatever the light hand felt. Now think of the heavy hand dropping down so that the other side rises, as though they were two sides of a weighing scale. The heavy hand is causing the lighter hand to rise. You feel the inclination to raise the light hand’s index finger. You know that it will rise. In fact you feel it pressing less and less against your leg.

This concentration will actually produce a nerve impulse movement of the finger. It will slowly lift from the leg. This initial movement of the finger is a signal from your subconscious mind that it is ready to receive instructions. Step 3 - Repeat your affirmations while holding a visual image of what it is that you choose to experience in your life. Continue for 3 to 5 minutes and then gently bring yourself back into the room, by taking a few deep, energizing breaths and opening your eyes. Make sure that you are fully awake, before standing up.

Tools of Reality Once you have entered an altered state, you are ready to create new realities. The premier techniques for harnessing your mind's power are affirmation and creative visualization. No matter what your goal, whether physical, emotional, mental or spiritual, the technique is basically the same. It all begins with imagination. You imagine the desired outcome in your mind, while at the same time repeating a positive affirmation about your goal. Your mind's influence is not just limited to improving your emotions, your skills and your physical body. Your mind can also influence the world outside your apparent physical control. In other words, your mind can spawn amazing coincidences to move you towards your goals. These techniques not only make you more focused on your goals, they directly influence them.

Affirmations Affirmations are positive statements that you repeat to yourself while in a meditative or Alpha level of mind. They are always done in the present tense, as if the action has already taken place. The concept was made famous by a French physician called Emile Coue. Coue was responsible for thousands of remarkable documented healings at the beginning of the 20th century. His remedy was to combine western medicine with the power of affirmations. Patients were made to repeat positive healing affirmations to themselves while in a relaxed frame of mind. His most famous affirmation was ‘everyday, in every way, I am getting better and better’. When done at the Alpha level of mind, affirmations are much more powerful than when done at a Beta, or waking state. Before creating an affirmation, first note these important rules: 

Affirmations must be in the present tense. Your subconscious mind does not think in terms of past, present or future. If you say, ‘I want to be an excellent golfer’ then your subconscious understands this as a statement of wanting. What you then get is the wanting or desire to be an excellent golfer but not the actual ability itself. Instead, you should say ‘I am an excellent golfer’. Your subconscious understands this as a statement of your present reality. It therefore works to make this reality true. Remember – always replace I want...with I am...

You must believe that the goal is within your reach. If you repeat an affirmation, but at the same time you are secretly thinking that you cannot accomplish it, you hijack the process. When you first start practicing affirmations you should start with small believable goals. As you achieve these goals your confidence in yourself and in the power affirmation grows. This allows you to tackle greater and greater issues. The best way to implant an affirmation is to release your mind from all desire and intention. Merely state the suggestion to yourself without passion as a thing that is already so. Something that is true is obvious and undeniable - it does not need to be shouted or defended. It simply is. Use repetition to reinforce the effects of the affirmation.



Affirmations must always be done as a positive statement. If you're trying to lose weight don't say, ‘I am not overweight’. Instead say, ‘I am slim and healthy’. When you see a phrase such as ‘I am no longer ill’, the dominant image in your mind is that of illness. When you turn that around to a phrase such as ‘I am healthy and well’, the dominant image in your mind is then one of health and wellness. Remember - always turn the affirmation into a positive statement. Positive affirmations are extremely useful in causing fundamental change, not only in behavior and beliefs, but also in the external conditions of life.

Some affirmation examples include: 

I will always maintain a perfectly healthy body and mind.



Positive thoughts, positive emotions, bring me all the benefits and advantages I desire.



I am learning to use more of my mind and to use it in a better way.

When a suggestion is correctly injected into the subconscious mind, the effect is nothing short of miraculous. It does not however show itself overnight, but is gradual and cumulative.

Visualization Another technique that is even more powerful than using simple affirmations is called creative visualization. This involves visualizing the end result of your goal or desire while you are in the Alpha level of mind. Just like affirmations, visualization should be done in the ‘present tense’. Lets say that you would like to own a brand new car. You want to visualize yourself in the car and feel the moment as if it is happening this instant and not at some time in the future. In other words, feel the sense of joy in owning the car, rather than the sense of wanting or the sense of desire for the car. To visualize effectively, create a mental screen in front of your eyes, like an internal cinema. Make the movie screen as large as you can and place it at least 6 feet in front of you.

When you perform creative visualization you will project images onto this screen. If you are looking to improve your sports skills, visualize yourself playing the game perfectly. See yourself making perfect moves, scoring every goal, making the perfect swing. Feel the joy you feel when you play the game well. If you are looking to shed some weight, see yourself healthy and fit. Feel the joy of having a beautiful body. See people complimenting you. If you're in sales, you can see yourself making the perfect pitches. See your monthly commission statements showing ever-increasing figures. Enhancing Your Creative Visualization If you have difficulty visualizing, you could use a technique called streaming. In streaming you mentally describe what it is that you're seeing. To be effective, you need to make the description as detailed as possible. For example, if you're trying to visualize yourself driving a brand new car, mentally tell yourself, ‘I'm seeing the dashboard, it has beautifully carved silver dials, the leather has tiny checkered patterns on it...’ As you describe the image in detail you will find that the image also takes on more detail. This, in turn, gives you more things to mentally describe. One feeds into the other and your imagined image becomes more and more vivid. To increase the impact of your creative visualization: 

Make the image as realistic as possible. Incorporate movement, make the screen threedimensional. See colours and shapes. Use the streaming technique if you have difficulty visualizing.



Feel emotions associated with the image. Joy, happiness, a sense of fulfillment. How would you be feeling if you had what you wanted? Imagine and explore this feeling. A thought without emotions has no energy and no force behind it. It is like running a car on empty. Feel the emotions of having what you want.



Bring in your other senses.

Feel the wind blowing on your face; imagine the scents involved with the images. Feel texture and temperature. The more senses you involve, the more real the image is to your subconscious mind. Here's one example. Picture an orange. Imagine the color of it. Is it bright orange and ripe? Then picture yourself peeling the orange. Imagine the smell as you start to peel it. Feel the juice flowing over your fingers. Then squeeze the orange and feel the flesh of the fruit. Bring it to your nose and imagine the odor of an orange. Imagine tasting it and bring back a memory of how an orange tastes in your mouth. As you can see, the trick is to make the image as real as possible by using all of your senses and emotions. Remember, the more realistic the visualization process, the better and faster the results.

How You Can Practice You can combine your affirmations with your creative visualization to create a more powerful effect. As you're imagining your goal, simply repeat your affirmation mentally, as many times as you feel necessary. Don't be discouraged if you do not get immediate results. We are all at different levels of spiritual development and some of us have years of negative programming and negative belief systems to overcome. But overcome them you shall. Creative visualization can be such a powerful process when done at the Alpha level that just five minutes a day of practice can undo years of negative programming. Furthermore, once you get your first success your belief system gets strengthened and this will allow you to manifest your next goal a little quicker. Masters who practice regularly find that they do not even have to go to a meditative level of mind and spend time repeatedly visualizing their goals. A mere conscious thought of their desire can set the gears in motion and create coincidences to direct them towards their goal.

Mind - Body Healing Scientists and doctors have long been puzzled by how certain patients have the ability to heal themselves of life-threatening diseases, by simply holding the mere belief that they will be cured. This is commonly called the placebo effect. Doctors are finding that many people manage to get cured when they are given fake medication, called placebos, which usually consist of nothing more than sugar pills or distilled water and then told by their doctors that they were taking real medication. There is no explanation for why the placebo effect works, except that somehow, the patient's belief that they are getting cured triggers some sort of self-healing ability within the patient. The placebo effect is probably the best-documented way in which the mind is known to affect the body. Hypnotism is another way to demonstrate the mind-body effect. A hypnotist can cause someone to trigger their body's own healing mechanism at will. Another phenomenon of mind-body interaction is that of people with multiple or split personalities. Psychologists have observed that when multiples switch personalities their body also shows dramatic changes. The Five Rules for Mind-Body Healing There are five major mental techniques that have important effects on the self-healing processes. They include: 1. The need for relaxation and quietude. 2. Learning to focus your attention on one thing (e.g. breathing), which allows you to develop mental self-control and avoid distractions. (The above two points are achieved through meditation, relaxation and self-hypnosis).

3. Learning visualization or imagery techniques, since pictures are the preferred language of the mind. 4. Incorporating intent into the process, a wish for some goal to be reached and an expectation that it will. 5. The evocations of strong positive emotions (or energy) during the healing process. The underlying principle of course, is ‘energy follows thought’. Mind Body Exercise Go to your alpha level of mind. Visualize the current condition of your body, including the ailment or pain that is bothering you. You do not need to memorize or know what each component of your body actually looks like. Simple pictures are enough to speak to your mind. A lung can be imagined as a balloon. A kidney can resemble a kidney bean. Create a representative picture of the ailment. Feel the emotions associated with this problem. See yourself healing and getting better and healthier. Now visualize the ailment disappearing. Create, with your imagination, a system to remove the ailment. Examples:  Kidney stones can be crushed into harmless powder that is then excreted.  Tumours can be visualized as large black blobs, while your immune system and white blood cells are visualized as tiny soldiers attacking the tumour. On each attack the tumour shrinks.  A sore muscle can be bathed in an imaginary healing light that alleviates the pain and restores the muscle to a healthy state. The exact image you use is irrelevant - create something that you can relate to. It does not have to be scientifically correct; it only has to be symbolic. Your subconscious mind will get the message. Let the final picture be one of perfect health. Feel the joy and energy of having perfect health. Imagine it to be true and already occurring.

The 4-Step Reminder Life is a full time job! However, there are simple guidelines to follow that will ensure that you always get the most out of life. It is only by not following these guidelines that you begin to lose energy and your body shows signs of degeneration, illness and disease. Know where you are Whether you are just feeling ‘under the weather’ or have been diagnosed with a ‘terminal’ label; you must remember, underneath it all, there is only one thing going on … you are running out of energy. Whether you are experiencing lethargy, aging, pain or disease; you must constantly remind yourself that you are dealing with a cellular condition.

It is not your liver, your pancreas, your heart, your immune system or any other part or system of your body … … it is your cells! There is only one reason that your cells are being drained and that is … … you are not coping! Knowingly or unknowingly, you have been breaking the Pure Laws of Health and are now suffering the consequences. It is time to face the music and take responsibility. Your lymphatic system is not coping with its workload and as a result, you have trapped, clustered blood protein. The bottom line here is … … you are in a Wet State As a consequence, your cells are oxygen deficient, dehydrated, toxic and starving. They have lost their electrical potential and are not able to generate energy. This is happening in your symptom area as well as in your whole body. On another level, you are in a rut; your life has come to a standstill and you are merely treading water. It is time to let go of the past and move on.

Know Where you Want to Be If you want to be healthy, every cell in your body must receive optimum nutrition, must be chemically balanced and must have no waste build up. In short … … you must be in a Living, Dry State. Take a good look at your life. Be kind, but totally honest with yourself. • Are you coping? • Are you breathing deeply and regularly? • Are you living a sedentary lifestyle? • Is your life filled with stress? • Are you nourishing your body physically, emotionally and mentally with the best foods possible? It would be a futile effort, if you continue to cause trapped blood protein, stagnate your lymphatic system and deprive your body of vital nutrients. You must follow the Law; it is the only sane thing to do. You must be willing to make a lifestyle change. The extent of your condition, will determine the level of change needed. No one can make that decision for you … the buck stops here! This leads us to a very important question: Do you want to be healthy? For someone in a health crisis, this might seem like an absurd question. But here it is again … Do you want to be healthy? Before you start this 4-step program, you must state your intention. Do you want less pain, more energy, more flexibility, greater health, perhaps more time? No one can decide for your health. The decision is yours; however, once you have made your decision, support is everywhere. Knowing what you want and knowing what your body needs, all that remains is simply to get on with it and do the work.

Do the Work There are 8 essential areas that must be addressed in all health conditions. Pay full attention to each one, and you will get your result. You need: 1. Energy – You batteries are running down, and you still need to keep your body functioning. It is absolutely vital that you boost your energy levels, in order to clear the clustered, trapped blood protein. 2. Lymph – the importance of good lymphatic circulation cannot be stressed enough. The only reason your body is in a Wet State is because of poor lymphatic circulation. You need to

‘do your dishes’. Getting your lymph flowing is the only way that you will be able to restore the Dry State, get your essential nutrients and turn your batteries on. 3. Oxygen – all ill health is a direct result of oxygen depravation. This may be the result of the Wet State, poor breathing habits or poor oxygen levels in the air. It is vital that you increase your oxygen levels, so that you can recharge your batteries and generate energy. 4. Hydration – 66% of body dehydration happens inside the cells. This is a direct result of altering the Living, Dry State. You must hydrate your cells with pure, structured water, if you want to turn your batteries on. 5. Cleansing – the Wet State is not a pretty sight. It’s time to let go of years of toxic accumulation. This is probably going to be the most crucial success factor of your program. 6. Nutrition saturation – you are starving at a cellular level. You need ‘groceries’ and only the best will do, if you are going to rebuild healthy cells. 7.

Emotional – pay attention to your self; love your body, love your cells … love your life!

8. Mental – stay positive, be optimistic and surround yourself with enthusiastic people who understand your needs and are willing to support you. The simplest daily routine to follow is to breathe, bounce and stroke; drink pure, structured water; eat raw fruit and vegetables, balance your attitude and still your mind. Constantly remind yourself what it is that you are doing. You are clearing the Wet State and restoring the Living, Dry State. Quite simply, you are recharging your batteries! Now do it!

Doing It! When faced with any health condition, however serious or mild, it is vitally important that you immediately address your primary needs of energy, oxygen and lymphatic circulation. This must be done in your symptom area as well as in your whole body. These are quite literally the lifesavers. The simplest, most effective way to do this is to: • Breathe - breathe deeply and evenly in a continuous, connected flowing rhythm. Think of the waves of the ocean. This is literally the breath of life! Strengthen your lungs by using a 7 (in) : 1 (hold) : 7 (out) : 1(hold) exercising rhythm. Place your hands on your area of need, breathe and direct the energy there. • Bounce - using a rebounder, perform a gentle bounce while breathing deeply. Start with short 30 second bounces, building to 2 minutes every hour or 10 minutes three times a day. Direct the energy generated by your bouncing to your area of need simply by quietly thinking of it.

• Stroke – Use a light, fast stroke, breathe deeply and stroke your area of need as well as your whole body. One of the most important areas to stroke is the ‘Sea of Energy, below your belly button and the soles of your feet. Do this as often as possible, bringing in a team if necessary and following a workable timetable. Speed healing requires consistent, persistent effort. In addition, you need: • Hydration – drink 8 glasses of purified, structured water a day. • Internal cleansing – Internal organ health is paramount in any healing condition. The simplest cleansing methods are: o Colon - psyllium husk o Liver - coffee enemas and whole lemon drink o Parasites - garlic, ginger and pumpkin seeds o Metals - fresh coriander o Kidneys - apple juice and watermelon • Nutrition saturation – cut out all processed, refined, artificially flavoured, coloured and preserved foods as well as all foods with added sugar and salt. • Eat only whole foods, following the 70 – 30 rule. This is the Alkaline Diet. • Emotional well-being – pay attention to your ‘Energy Guidance System’. Hold your fingers to balance your attitude. • Mental balance – Surround yourself with positivity and enthusiasm. Clear your mind and create your reality with meditation, affirmation and creative visualization. Don’t Turn Back The difference between those who succeed and those who don’t, is … those who do, practice the steps to the letter … every time … all the time. Stay focused … Keep with the program ... You can do it! The only reason you will not succeed, is: • You do not believe that you can restore your health. Remind yourself what is really going on … you are clearing the Wet State and restoring the Living, Dry State. • You are getting caught up in labels. Focus on restoring health, not on curing disease. • You are not 100% sure of what you want. Do you want to be healthy? The choice is yours. Uphold the Laws of Health. • You keep changing your mind. Do not get caught up in any one else’s opinion. That is all that it is … an opinion. No matter who it is, what their qualification. It is your life; you are entitled to the best you can get. Surround yourself with those who share that opinion and who are willing to support you. Stay focused.

The length of time needed to restore your health depends upon you. The more you do it, the better you will feel. The better you feel, the more you will be able to do it. It’s all about attention and intention. If any part of your body is losing power, pay attention. Remind yourself of your needs and address them immediately! Read the steps, follow the guidelines and do the work. Restore your health!

Final Note The cause of ALL pain, degeneration, illness, disease and death is a loss of energy. Only one thing can alter the Living, Dry State and that is clustered, trapped blood protein. The only reason that this is happening is because you are breaking the Pure Laws of Health and not doing your ‘dishes’. •
