PRE APPOINTMENT Patient: Hello, I'd like to make an appointment to see Doctor Escobar, please. Doctor's Assistant: Have you exam to seen Doctor Escobar before? Patient: Yes, I have. I had a physical last year. Doctor's Assistant: Fine, what is your name? Patient: Danitza Ana. Doctor's Assistant: Thank you, Danitza, let me pull up your file... Okay, here it is your information. What's the reason for your making an appointment? Patient: I haven't been feeling very well lately. Doctor's Assistant: Do you need urgent care? Patient: No, not necessarily, but I'd like to see the doctor soon. Doctor's Assistant: Of course. Patient: Is there anything space for next Tuesday? Doctor's Assistant: Let me see. We have a three o'clock opening next Tuesday. Would you like to come in that date? Patient: Yes, at three would be great. Doctor's Assistant: What day did you have it scheduled for? Patient: My appointment is this Tuesday. Doctor's Assistant: What time was it scheduled for? Patient: It was for three o'clock in the afternoon. Doctor's Assistant: I see you had an appointment. What day would you like to change to? Patient: I would like to switch it for this Wednesday.

Doctor's Assistant: What time would you like to come? Patient: I would like to come in at 10:00 in the morning. Doctor's Assistant: Fine, I will make the appointment in right now. We will see you then. WITH DOCTOR Patient: Good morning, Doctor Escobar. DR.Escobar: Good morning! How can I help you? Patient: I have had the fever since yesterday. DR. Escobar: Do you have any other symptoms? Patient: I also have a headache and I am shivering. DR. Escobar: Let me take your temperature. At this moment time the fever is 37 degree. Don’t worry, this is nothing serious. With the medicine that I will prescribe, you will be fine in 15 days. Patient: Thank you, doctor. DR. Escobar: But get your blood tested for malaria, and come with the report tomorrow. Patient: OK doctor. DR. Escobar: You shouldn't work in those conditions, you can worse your health. You should rest at least two days comfortably at your home. Patient: Would you prepare a medical certificate for me to submit it in my office? DR. Escobar: Oh sure. This is your medical certificate. Patient: Thank you very much. Please tell me how can I take this medicine? DR. Escobar: Take three pills a day every 8 hours, that is, the first at 7am, the second at 3pm and the last at 11 at night before sleeping, for 5 days. Patient: What should I eat doctor? DR.
