Introduction Thank you again for opting in for my newsletters. This report is for the people looking to make some quick money online. It isn’t going to make you rich, but it will give you enough money to buy hosting and a domain name etc, without having to dip into your wages or personal savings. 3 SEO, and unlike Fiverr, you can charge however much money you want per gig. So i headed over to SEO clerks and Searched for “Facebook likes” and sorted by cheapest first. I was staggered when i found out that some Indian Clerks were offering 500 Facebook likes to a page or website, with next day delivery, for just $1! Cheap as chips, but in third world countries, this is a lot for them! Do not be put off by the price. Just because it's cheap, doesn’t mean it's a scam. So now i set up a gig on FIVERR, saying that i would add 500 facebook likes to a website or fan page for $5, and waited for an order. Because of the “new arrival” feature in Fiverr, where some of the newly set up Gigs are at the top of the search results, i got an order quite quickly. I used a fairly competitive Gig (article writing) and made a great descrition with tags, and a mediocre one that i copy/pasted from someone else’s Gig. What I Did Below.

Optimization Image Optimization

The image that Fiverr allow you to upload is extremely important! A lot of people will find something that is relevant from Google and crop it and upload it to Fiverr. So what does this show? You are not willing to put effort into actually setting up the gig, and you are not going to stand out. Now a little known fact, is that close up’s of faces attract a lot more clicks that plain thumbnails. It helps on Youtube, it helps in google (google authorship) and it helps with Fiverr.

Color Colours are important in the thumbnail as well. The psychology of colour has always been important. Yellow is an attention Grabber, so you should use it as the background for the image. but you should have a call to action on the image as well. 6 or “take a look!”. The best colour for this is red. Its an incredibly passionate colour and is used in websites to draw attention to things, such as link or important information. When you get an error message it’s always read, because you need to read the problem and address it.

Font Always use a Font that is going to make an impact. Something that looks strong, so not Comic Sans. I use “capture It” because it stands out and looks good. Make sure it is LEGIBLE at first glance as well. You don't want people trying to distinguish what it says. Now that you have your image sorted, which is the most time consuming part, You need to focus on your title, description, and tags. This is where Fiverr optimization comes in. Its a bit of an art, and a little bit like SEO with google, but different things work.

Title As per Fiverr’s Request, you should keep the title short and sweet. Don't include specifics in your title, but you should include more than one variation of a keyword. For an example with the Article writing theme. I will “Write an article, blog post, or review” is a nice title. A lot of people make the mistake of saying words like “Professionally” , “in 24 hours” , “good looking” in their titles, thinking it will convince people to click on their Gig. Well people have short attention spans so keeping it short is better. And not many people search for “write a professional blog post in 24 hours”. 7 The short title also gets you better click through rates as well. They see something that they need and will click on your Gig to see your description to see if you are offering what they want. Then you have your chance to talk about the gig in more detail.

Tags The tags that you are allowed in your gig are very important as well. Instead of just typing in keywords relating to your GIG, you should type in search terms (what people will type in when they want a gig done) Sometimes people will type more than just “Article” into the search box. Terms such as “300 word article” and “write a guest post” will allow you to gain more targeted traffic to your gig. The majority of Gig sellers will type “seo” “article” and one word tags, which will get them lost in the sea of Gig’s that do the same.

Video I am not really a big fan of uploading a video to a gig that is not necessary. Nobody is going to need to watch a video to understand how you will write them an article. However, if you can prove something with a video it can help you a lot! If you are offering services like singing, or puppet work, voice over work, etc, then a video is a MUST. People will be able to see previous work and if it is quality, they will choose you. The video should not be explaining what you will do, but it should be an EXAMPLE of what you do.

9 Further ways to get ahead. Promoting your gig is always a good idea. If you a member of any forums that are related to your gig, you can add the link to the gig in your signature, or create a topic about what it is you will do and include a link to your GIG.

Getting Reviews. ANYBODY who starts out on Fiverr will tell you that getting your first few sales are the hardest, but once you do get some sales and positive reviews, you will start getting some steady Gigs. Many times you will see a snowball effect take place on your gig. Once you can grab a few sales and get some positive ratings, you will see an increase in GIG sales. If you strive to deliver those Gigs and try to over-deliver, people will send positive ratings your way and you will get more and more orders because of it. Some people have been known to ask people to buy their Gigs and even PAY people to buy their gigs and leave a positive review, but this is tremendously black hat. It is effective, but you risk your account getting banned if they find out. You should never register a new account to buy your own gig. They will find out easily and you can say goodbye to your account.
