You have been given the task of finding a new project for a fictional multimedia development company to produce on spec. The project is an instructional game designed to teach learners how to program in Java Script. Justify the project, discussing: a. the market for the product The market for the project is obviously for the beginners to learn Java Script programming language easily and learn through a game. b. the objectives of the project The objective for the project is to give beginners easy way or method to learn Java Script especially the medium is through an instructional game. c. technical limitations, if any, and d. a brief timeline 

Week 1 - Week 3 :

Finding best topic and comfortable with technology nowadays. Discuss the idea of project with team mates,consult with instructor. Choose best project to do. Describe goal,benefit and also time estimated to finish the project. 

Week 4 - Week 6

Design the project storyline Submit the proposal Create character of the project Explore the content needed

Consultation with instructor. Authoring the project Testing 

2. List and briefly discuss the stages of a multimedia project. Be sure to define the milestones that mark the completion of the phase.  Planning  The needs of a project are analyzed by outlining its messages and objectives  A plan that outlines the required multimedia expertise is prepared  A graphic template, the structure, and navigational system are developed  Costing  A time estimate and a budget are prepared  A short prototype or proof-of-concept is prepared  Designing  The planned tasks are performed to create a finished product  The product is revised based on the continuous feedback received from the client  Producing  Testing  The program is tested to ensure that it meets the objectives of the project, works on the proposed delivery platforms and meets the client requirements  Delivering  The final project is packaged and delivered to the end user

3. List at least ten primary tasks that go into producing a multimedia project. Place these steps in logical order. Comment on these steps with regard to whether they are critical to the timeline (which steps are dependent on the completion of an earlier step).

4. Discuss the factors that affect what a multimedia company might be able to charge for its work. Consider factors that affect overhead, factors related to experience and abilities, and factors related to the project itself.  telephone expenses  calling the client  make order from supplier  office equipment and furniture  rent and utilities  pay rent fees  pay water and electric bills  stationery and supplies  postage and delivery costs  clerical help  business insurance  business-related meals and entertainment  travel expenses  professional association memberships  legal and accounting fees  advertising and marketing costs  for example the cost of a yellow pages ad, website or brochure.

5. Describe the various technical, management, and creative obstacles to accurately predict the time and resources needed to complete a multimedia project. How might the technical and creative problem be interrelated? Basically, in producing a multimedia project a success, the time and estimated cost must be taken seriously in order to ensure that the project is done in the estimating time. The project designing must be included in the chart for example we choose Gantt chart. Accurate time estimation is a crucial skill in project management. Without it, we don't know how long your project will take, and another problem that will occur is we are unable to get commitment from the people who need to sign it off. The creativity of the group members is also one of the important things to make the project looks more attractive. In order to make it looks creative and what we want, a lot of time need to be taken care of. We have to set certain period of time to make sure that the project must be finished in the period of time.
