INTRODUCTION People that are curious enough to invest time researching how things work are the ones that are able to understand the game and often times win it Meanwhile, the people that invest zero time on research stays complaining because of their bad luck... When you finish reading this guide you'll be able to understand better how Instagram works and what things you should be doing to increase the odds to succeed on the platform. You will be able to optimize everything on your Instagram account and make money with it You just have to read this guide and take action, day in, day out.

1

I'm not an Instagram "Guru" and what I've writen on this guide are the things that I learned after many hours of watching videos and reading blogs that the only thing they mention is "You need viral content bro" The strategies I'm sharing on this guide helped me to grow from 0 to 20k followers with my account @EndlessEvolve in just a matter of 100 days, before that I never had an account bigger than 1.5k because I had no idea what I was doing. The goal of this guide is to teach you how you should be doing all the things on IG to optimize everything, from your profile bio, to the captions, hashtags or anything related. Instagram is a tough battlefield if you don't know what are you doing, in 60 minuntes you'll be able to do everything much better.

2

Without the right strategy & plan, you cannot expect to win the game, While you're posting once a week, there's a guy out there posting 10 times. How you want to compete with a guy that is working 10 times more than you??! You must put the work in to be able to beat the odds. 99% of the people trying to make money through Instagram doesn't know what they are doing or they don't work hard enough. The first thing I need is that you understand the recipe for success. This recipe can be applied to any area of your life, not only on Instagram.

3

PLAN PREPARATION + ATTITUDE + OPPORTUNITY + ACTION

SUCCESS

99% of the people thinks that successful are just lucky, they will tell you that they had really good luck and that's why they are finnacial free. But I must tell you the truth... Luck doesn't exist. These 4 ingredients are needed to succeed, we'll take care of the first one in this guide.

PREPARATION. 4

You'll need to work on the other 3 things on your own, they are under your responsability. Your attitude, what you do in front of the opportunies that comes to your way, how you take action and if you do whatever it takes. This guide will help you to be prepared and be able to understand how everything works on Instagram, we have a huge opportunity in front of us, in our smartphone. Instagram has 1 Billion (Yeah, with B) of active accounts every single month. Over 500 million active accounts every day, with the highest engagement rate across all the social media platforms.

5

From these 500 millions you may think that you need as many followers as Pamela Anderson on Baywatch (The Tv Serie). But you're far away from the reality. You just need to help 75 people every month and offer them your product or service. Of course you have to help them in some way and give them value while you're solving their problem.

6

Let's imagine that your service or product cost 20$, if you help 75 people you'll be making 1500$ per month. In a year you'll help 900 people, that's 18.000$! The last time you saw 18.000$ was probably... uhm, never! If you deduct a 40% for taxes you'll pocket around 11.000$ That's over 900$ per month Doing something you love From wherever you want. Hey... but I can't make a living on 900$... Well, you just have to help more people!

7

The income you make will be the shadow of the positive impact you create on other people lives. Another example could be this guide, If I put it on Amazon at 9.97$ and I sell just one copy a day, I will make 310$ per month or 3700$ per year. If we take in count that I'm writing this book just once, 310$ a month for writting a book once sounds like a good deal. Of course, making numbers out of nothing is pretty easy and cool, but if it were easy, everyone would do it. Being able to create online income is not easy and requires time and effort, but is possible.

8

If it were easy, everybody would be an influencer and everyone would be rich. I need you to understand that these numbers are completely possible and they have nothing to do with LUCK. Let me introduce myself a bit before we dive into the Instagram stuff.. In 2017 I created my first account, with the intention of building an audience around my brand Nova Nuts I wanted to drive all that audience to my website and Amazon to have more sales. But it never happened.

9

To be honest, I didn't know from where to start, I was putting in the hours and the effort but I had no strategy nor knowledge at all. I kept watching videos on youtube, they were saying all the same "You need Viral content" After few months I started to be lazy to post as it wasn't working at all... In 10 months I managed to get to 1200 followers, and 400 were fake followers that I bought to make the account look a bit nicer or that's what I thought back then. The other 800 followers were made by the oldest trick on Instagram The follow/unfollow method...

10

I was posting two or three times a week and I was always looking for the biggest hashtags that I could find, The bigger the hashtag, the better I thought... Back then I was looking at other accounts with 10.000 followers and I saw that goal as something really hard and impossible to achieve. It seems completely impossible to grow to these numbers I thought. So week after week I was doing less and less as I couldn't see any good results on my account. I finally paused the account and didn't post anything for weeks, but I kept learning about it as I was curious how everything works.

11

Then slowly I started to understand a bit more how Instagram works, I understood that the person that put in the work and have consistency wins the game. If you post once or twice a day you're crushing all that people that posts 2-3 times per week Then I learned how hashtags works Bigger doesn't mean better, it means more crowded. I understood that you need high quality content as that is what people want to see I learned that you must optimize your bio to be able to increase the conversion rate between visitors to new follower.

12

And today it's your lucky day as I'm gonna tell you everything you need to know! I will summarize all these videos of "Viral Content!" in 60 minutes You'll learn everything needed to grow your account from zero to 10k in 3 or 4 months if you put in the time and effort. You just need to take action and follow the strategies described in this guide!

13

Chapter 1

Setting realistic goals. Before we start, we need to  set up realistic goals, so we'll be able to track our progress and to have an action plan  towards them. This goals most be realistic and they will help us to stay on track to achieve them, they will help us to know what must be done on a daily, weekly & monthly basis. Slow and steady wins the race. One of the most common mistakes is to set up unrealistic goals, you can't have the goal to get to one million followers when you have no idea how to get to 10k, so first set 10k as your first goal, then aim for a million.

14

Chapter 1 - Setting realistic goals Something we must have in mind is to set goals that are under our control and they doesn't rely on external factors or luck. Let me explain... When I started Endless Evolve, my goal was to get 100k followers by the end of 2019 but then I realized that my goal will be on 100k people hands but not only on my hands... I could work my ass off but I would be always relying my goal on 100k people

Then I decided to change my goal, I choosed that I was going to post 1.000 times over this year, that's completely on my hands and If I don't achieve that, Ir would be because I was lazy, so there won't be any excuse to save me.

15

Chapter 1 - Setting realistic goals After thinking, I choosed my new goal and I knew that it was 100% on my hands, while the 100k goal was not on my hands. Posting 1.000 times it's something under my control and the time I will use to work on Endless Evolve. Then, my second goal was to be consistent and post at least once a day in 2019. Until now I managed to achieve it, the account has around 100 days and I have posted over 240 times, that's 2.4 times per day...

That's what I call consistency!

16

Chapter 1 - Setting realistic goals I suggest you to pick realistic goals, that are easy to achieve as it is much better to achieve easy goals than don't achieve any goal at all... You can start using this examples: Publish once per day or 5+ times per week. Leave 5 comments in other accounts from your niche Publish 3 stories per day Reply to all your dm's daily to create a better relationship with your followers Exchange 1-2 shout-outs per day with other accounts. Be creative and you'll find dozens of goals that rely solely on you and they are achievable-realistic.

17

Chapter 2

Resources needed to succeed. I'm sure you've seen this Ads or posts that claims you can generate 1000$ per week just by working 5 min a day on your phone While you're laying on the beach with a cocktail in one hand and the phone on the other...

That's quite unrealistic and unlikely to happen. Sorry for breaking your dreams

18

Chapter 2 - Resources needed to succeed

To be able to make 1000$ per month through Instagram you must put in time and effort. If it were easy everybody would be doing it, and I'm pretty sure you don't know many people that is making a living exclusively online. So I guess thats not quite easy to achieve... Let's have another perspective... To be able to make 1000$ in a traditional job you need to work around 40 hours for a week, 160 hours a month, of course depending from where you are it will be less or more. Do you think is possible to start making the average monthly salary from one day to another just working few hours a day from Instagram? No way buddy!

19

Chapter 2 - Resources needed to succeed

Everything is possible, but you must be willing to pay the price to achieve success. If you really want to achieve this kind of goals, you need to have a realistic approach. You need at least 5 to 10 hours a week to be able to create a good following and a business around that audience on Instagram We must be active in the platform. We have to answer Dm's, leave comments, answer them, engage with other buddies from our niche and so on...

20

Chapter 2 - Resources needed to succeed If you're not willing to invest that amount of time over few months without getting anything back, this might not be your type of business. Is not worth your time if you're going to be posting for 2 weeks and then stop for a week and come back for another week, you must be consistent. Instagram love consistent people! If you're posting content on their platform, they'll have more space to place Ads Ads equals money to Instagram, so they will be happy thanks to you. You'll be rewarded with more engagement, so that will make you post more often and they will have more space for Ads.

AD 21

Chapter 2 - Resources needed to succeed Because of this, consistency is one of the most important things to have in mind to win this game. If you don't have enough content to post at least once a day for few weeks, then stop and find it before starting. If you try to create and post everything the same day you'll end up burning out, you'll get stressed and then you'll end up publishing low quality content as you don't feel like posting that day. We'll try to get any random piece of content to repost and that will end up hurting our engagement more than helping. First plan, then execute!

22

Chapter 2 - Resources needed to succeed There are some useful tools such as: Iconosquare

Later Plann They will help us to maintain our consistency. We can schedule posts on them so we set & forget days or weeks in advance.

23

Chapter 3 Creating your brand.

This chapter will be useful if you're about to grow a brand account, It won't be that useful if you're trying to build a personal account where you'll upload personal content, but you can use some tips as well. To create a brand on Instagram it's necessary that our account stands out in the branded way of content, we should have a nice font for our texts and nice colors for our feed. If we want to show that our account is professional and we are serious about what we do, we must use a range of colors similar in every post.

24

Chapter 3 - Creating your brand. Choose 2 main colors and 1 or 2 that will be secondary, we'll use them in the logo of our brand and in the design of our posts. This way, our feed will look much clear, pretty and professional, so we won't be another repost-only account out there. With the fonts of the text we have to do the same. Choose 1 or 2 fonts and use them always so there will be a nice consistency in our texts.

25

Chapter 3 - Creating your brand. If you'll use a different font in the bio of your account, try to use 2 as maximum, if you're using more than 2 it will look weird And when trying to use "cool" fonts, try to avoid fonts as the ones you can see in the examples. Some of them are quite hard to read.

26

Chapter 3 - Creating your brand. Compare them with the bio of Endless Evolve...

While you can read my bio in few seconds, you'll probably give up trying to read the bio of these bio examples We must make it easy for everyone visiting our account to know more about us, they will pass over for few seconds and in these seconds they'll decide if they stay as followers or they go back wherever they were.

27

Chapter 4

The Instagram profile Your presentation card Before starting, we'll have a main look at the different parts of an Instagram profile, so there won't be confusion in the next pages. Some people doesn't even know the difference between the username and the profile name or how to add a highlighted storie to their account...

28

Chapter 4 - Instagram Profile

Logo

Profile Name Category

Bio

Link in the bio Highlight Stories

29

Chapter 4 - Instagram Profile The username is the handle people will use to mention you in their stories or captions, So it would be great if we can have some keyword on it that describes what our account is about or what we do Always try to make it short, don't use dots or dashes because it makes it harder to remember or to mention us, and we'll be probably losing some SEO advantages we could have if we didn't use dots or dashes. When I'm doing an Instagram optimization to any of my customers I always have this sentence in mind: "A word that is repeated or is not helping to share something about the account, It's extra"

30

Chapter 4 - Instagram Profile If the account is for your brand, just use your brand as handle (@Nike) and If its taken just try to come up with something creative. In my case, when I created Nova Nuts account, the brand name was taken by a random guy, so I had to use @Nova.Nuts That's okay as it's a brand account But if you're a photographer or an artist you should try to add some keyword that describe what you do in your username That will help to get more visits from targeted people as they will know what we do even before checking our bio.

31

Chapter 4 - Instagram Profile Examples: If you have a car dealership @Tonycardeals If you're a photographer @Tomypics @TomyPhotos If you're a Dj @Djtiesto @Maxidj If you're an artist @MaxTattos @ArtByMax If our username is... @GaryMiller "Miller" is extra there, is not helping us in any way but telling everyone we have a common surname, is not giving any extra info to these people who see our username.

32

Chapter 4 - Instagram Profile If we change "Miller" for any keyword it will be easier to let everyone know what our account is about. In my case, @EndlessEvolve is the name of the brand I'm building That's why I used that name, otherwise I would have used something related with keywords such as Marketing, Online Business, Social Media or whatever I could come up with after few beers. To be able to choose a great username you can create a list of things you'll be sharing in your account or the niche you will be about

33

Chapter 4 - Instagram Profile What are these topics you would love to talk about on Instagram? Write down 3 or 4 ideas and start playing around with the best usernames The more descriptive, the better!

@GreatUsername

Once we have this done, we're good to move to the next part!

34

Chapter 4 - Instagram Profile

Profile Name This is the first thing any visitor will see, it's the first thing everyone check and its on bold characters so it's hard to skip. Our job? Make these 30 characters count. We only have 30 characters to give a bit more information about us and our business. The first thing I always do when I optimize a bio for a client is, I try to use all these 30 characters and not less. Don't use 7 if you can use 27. Usually we use that to write our name and surname, and that doesn't help at all.

35

Chapter 4 - Instagram Profile Remember, each word must target a specific thing and as I've already said: Whatever doesn't help us to be known, it's extra. We have to do our best to make our name easy to remember and offer more info about us and our business or whatever we do in our niche Some examples: Marc Miller Marc - Fitness Trainer Larry Johnsonn Larry - Drone Expert Max Griffindor Max - SEM Specialist

36

Chapter 4 - Instagram Profile Exactly, your surname is not useful in 99% of the cases, so use something more descriptive. In my humble opinion, all bios should be as complete as mine. I tried to describe what anyone will find in my account

You can see all the keywords I use to describe my account and the content you'll find, a call to action to follow me and the invitation to grab something for free.

37

Chapter 4 - Instagram Profile

Your profile logo. This is kind of an easy part as there's not much to be done since the round logo is small and you don't have to optimize much. You just need to have a nice design that catches the attention. Also make sure you're using as much space as possible and the logo is in the right size, you'll need to resize it specially for the Insta logo circle At first I was using a logo made by myself using Canva.com, but it was cheap and ugly as hell... Then I got the new one that looks way better as you can see 38

Chapter 4 - Instagram Profile Cheap ass logo I made myself just to have something in the logo pic. Is not professional and low quality

Way better logo with beauty design as you can see. Looks cool and catches attention from the visitors.

The best part? I got it for 10$ on Fiverr.com You don't need to spend hundreds of bucks to get a cool logo done, just go over fiverr and get some done for 10$ each and pick the one you like the most.

39

Chapter 4 - Instagram Profile The most important thing is that we fill the round circle as much as possible. If our logo is bigger it will be easier to recognize and easier to read If your account is a personal one you should use a picture where your face is visible and try to smile if possible, make it different from the rest and be original Think outside the box! If your account is a brand account you can use the first letters of the brand name, you can use a graphic or like in my case, both (full name + graphic) If you're not a pro designer don't waste your time, just go over fiverr and get it done within few hours.

40

Chapter 4 - Instagram Profile Make sure your logo is easy to remember, easily rezognized and aligned with the colors and style of your brand. Here you have few examples that all of you will recognize for sure, they are recognized because they have been optimizing everything always

Now we'll go over the most important part where most people fail at creating in an optimized way

41

Chapter 4 - Instagram Profile THE BIO! Alright guys, here's where Instagram allows us to use up to 150 characters with emojis. We have to use them wisely to be able to let everyone know what they will find if they scroll down to our profile or what they will find if they decide to follow us. Most of the common errors are the following: Repeat words in the profile, if we already said that we are Fitness Coach in our profile name is not necessary that we repeat it as they already know that.

42

Chapter 4 - Instagram Profile Another common one is to waste characters typing your email, phone or address since you can add all of that in a special option for business accounts, so don't waste space doing that. Some people also write: "DM me for promotions" Dude, if someone want to make a promotion with you, I'm sure they'll know how to reach you out via DM without you telling them... Everyone knows how to send a DM. Having a messy and ugly bio, using too many emojis or using 50 characters instead of 150 are some of the commonly made mistakes, try to avoid them.

43

Chapter 4 - Instagram Profile So, now that you know the common mistakes, you just need to avoid them. Let's focus on creating an optimized bio. First, make a list of the things you'll be posting on your IG Account In what niche they are about? Which are useful keywords to use for that niche? What's the benefit people will get when they follow you? Search for few emojis they are aligned with the things you wrote, you can use 35 or so, but don't overload the bio with emojis.

44

Chapter 4 - Instagram Profile At last, add a Call to Action (CTA). You can tell them to follow you or to click in the link in your bio to get this really cool thing for free or to learn how to do this cool thing at home. Describe in these 150 characters as much as possible about your business, don't repeat and remember that every word count. The last thing we have are the highlighted stories They are our second offensive line of marketing Our second chance to give every visitor way more information about us and the chance to create a conexion with them.

45

Chapter 4 - Instagram Profile

The first three stories are the most important, they will be seen when you enter into the profile and they'll probably open and check them if they are good enough We need to share in these stories more about our business, product, service or whatever to be seen as an authority in that field. You can use your first storie to let them know more about you, your past, where are you from, where is your business, your work schedule, your web, testimonials from past clients and whatever you think it might help. Whatever that makes them trust you more is a good way to start.

46

Chapter 4 - Instagram Profile You can use the second highlighted storie to share "behind the scenes" in your life or business, show them how you do the things you do and they will connect easier with you and your work. You can share with them how you prepare coaching calls or business plans with your new clients You can share with them how you coach your new clients, how's your morning routine, what you do first in the morning or anything that shows them you're a real person behind that brand or profile.

47

Chapter 4 - Instagram Profile You can use the third story to create engagement, let them make you questions and answer them Try to make your followers to engage with you more Create a nice story with the question box "Ask me anything!" and then keep adding all the answers to that story, this way your new followers will be able to find quick answers from you and learn more about your topic.

Make sure these 3 stories provide as much information as possible to your followers, answer all the questions so they will be happier as they find useful your profile and if you can help them to solve any of their problems even better

48

Chapter 4 - Instagram Profile Things won't stop here, you must keep building great highlighted stories for every product or service you offer, so they will be there displaying as an Ad, helping people to gather more information about you and your business.

These are 3 great examples of how your highlighted stories should look like.

49

Chapter 4 - Instagram Profile The last thing we have to optimize in our profile is the category (In case that you're running a business account). You have to pick or at least try to pick a category relationed to your niche and it should be something that feels like a group or community of people. My fav category is "Community" as it makes your followers feel that they are part of something, so they'll follow you easier. There's few exceptions when I wouldn't use community as category and is when you're an artist, Dj, Musician or local business as there are specific categories for that niches. Just have a look at the categories and choose the one you most like.

50

Chapter 4 - Instagram Profile There's plenty of people with categories that doesn't feel like being part of something, for example "Personal Blog" as it looks really individual, personal and way less like a group of people The category is something you don't need to overthink as there are limited options and is not as important as the Bio or logo. for now I would like to congratulate you, as you should have an optimized profile by now! Congratulations!! Now that you have your bio optimized, we should move on with the content strategy. Keep reading guys!

51

Chapter 5

Choosing our niche

Before we rush into posting content like crazy we must find our niche, we have to understand that it must be something we are passionate about. You won't be able to compete in a fishing niche when you don't even like it, while there are hundred of people who are passionate and they are fishing and uploading pictures everyday. That's quite easy to understand, so let's take our time to choose our niche since it's something really important, Don't try to jump into the next trend because in 4 months you'll leave the account because you're tired of uploading pictures of stainless steel fryin-pans when you never made a fried egg in your life.

52

Chapter 5 - Choosing our niche Okay boys, time to work. Start by making a list of 3 to 5 things that you really like and you do something related to them few times a week. You'll find that there are one or two things in that list that you really like and you would love to learn more about it, help other people to learn more about it and make money with things related to that. It's important that we narrow it down when we pick our niche, so it will be easier to build a following of people that are truly interested on it. If we choose the niche "Gaming" there are hundreds of games, so we'll have followers that like all the games but they might not like the one we want to post about.

53

Chapter 5 - Choosing our niche

But, if we go after an specific niche like "Counter Strike" we'll have waaay more odds that our followers really like counter strike, so we'll have a higher quality following so it will be easier to sell them things. The more specific the easier it will be to create a conexion with your followers. If you pick "Food" as niche, there will be probably the whole Instagram they like to eat, so they might not be interested in your products at all. But, if you go after the Salad niche, vegetarian or paleo diet niche, you'll increase the odds that your followers really like what you're sharing with them.

54

Chapter 5 - Choosing our niche I'm going to show you a trick that we can use to find a really specific niche, we have to go few levels down from our main niche, and we'll find the perfect spot.

Main Niche: Cooking

Specific Niche: Vegetarian Cooking

Really Specific Niche: Low-Sugar Vegetarian Desserts

55

Chapter 5 - Choosing our niche Another example: Main Niche: Travel

Specific Niche: Travel Around Asia

Really Specific Niche: Low-Cost Travel in Asia

56

Chapter 5 - Choosing our niche

Your following will grow a bit slower at the beginning when you go that specific, but over the long-term is gonna help us a lot since we'll have a high quality following. In my case, when I started Endless Evolve I jumped into the "Entrepreneurship" niche so I choose a not really specific niche, once I realized I started to avoid certain kind of post (Like Investing) so I started to be way more specific. You can choose between being really specific and growing a bit slower at the beginning but with more quality or Growing faster in a more open niche and not so specific, with less targeted following.

57

Chapter 5 - Choosing our niche

Over the next months my idea is to niche down even more my content, so I will increase in quality and decrease in growth-speed. At first I was growing fast but gaining less targeted followers, so it will be way harder to monetize that kind of audience. But I think the social proof of Having a following of 20k+ will help to get hundreds of emails through my profile. Just have this two things in mind when you're choosing your niche and you're good to go!

58

Chapter 5 - Choosing our niche

Remember that if you choose to grow slower it will be easier to monetize but if you grow faster it will be easier to create an email list. At the end, this business is not about how many followers you have, but how many followers purchase your product or services. How you can know where to start? Create a list of 10 accounts that you want to take as model, then check what they are posting.

59

Chapter 5 - Choosing our niche

You must be feeling like "God, I would like to be as cool as that account in 6 months" Then go and model it. You have tools like IgBlade.com or Social Blade.com to analyze how much they grow per day/month, how many times they post per day/month and many other stats that are useful when you're trying to find the winners from your niche. We have to find accounts that are having a nice and exponential growth If they are growing exponentially it means that they are doing something right, so we want to model them.

60

Chapter 6 Content Strategy

To have good organic growth and achieve exponential grow we must have our game as optimized as possible. The more optimized we proceed, the higher the odds to succeed. In this chaper we'll speak probably the most important thing of Instagram, The Content! So, what are we gonna post? Once we have our niche picked we will have one kind of content, either physical created content or digital created content. Digital created content is hundreds of times more scalable than physical

61

Chapter 6 - Content Strategy You can create digital content by yourself using Canva, Photoshop or any other digital editor. Physical content requires Physical creation, for example a blueberry cheesecake. So if we need to bake a cake to create our content we won't be able to post 4 times a day, so we'll be posting 5-7 times a week or as much as possible. Then, your profile can be more personal or more general With this I mean, if it's personal you'll be sharing posts where you are the main "hero" so it won't make any sense if you repost random people posts where you're not in the picture.

62

Chapter 6 - Content Strategy

Just think about a Football player reposting pictures of a football player from another team, that won't make much sense since his account is personal for his fans. Always try to post the best content and with the highest quality, share with your followers what you do on a daily basis and what things you like to do on weekends for example. In the other side, if your content is more general, you can repost content from other accounts without any problem.

63

Chapter 6 - Content Strategy If your account is about mexican food, there won't be any problem if you post mexican food even if you didn't cook it and you're just reposting it as long as it stays align with your niche. Endless Evolve is in a digital content niche, so I have to post more often (2-4x per day) compared with other niches. Also, with the list of 10 model accounts you should have by now, you have to check what are they posting more often, pics or videos, so you'll have a main idea about what is working nowadays in that niche.

64

Chapter 6 - Content Strategy Take a look at each of these accounts and check which videos/pics have the higher engagement rate (Likes+Comments) so you'll see what works better. You have to check the best posts, these are often 1-2 posts for every 9-12. There will be always 1-2 posts that have way more engagement than the rest, they are easy to find.

65

Chapter 6 - Content Strategy You might be wondering when we'll be publishing the content... Thats something important as the more followers active on Instagram the better engagement we'll have and then we'll rank higher on hashtags. If we are just starting we won't have much data about our audience so we might not know (yet) the best times to post.

66

Chapter 6 - Content Strategy So we are going to do this over the first 2 or 3 weeks, we'll be rotating the posting times in a range of 2 hours.

Week 1 Mon 9:00 Tues 11:00 Wed 13:00 Thurs 15:00 Fri 17:00 Sat 19:00 Sun 21:00

Week 2 Mon 11:00 Tues 13:00 Wed 15:00 Thurs 17:00 Fri 19:00 Sat 21:00 Sun 22:30

Week 3 Mon 13:00 Tues 15:00 Wed 17:00 Thurs 19:00 Fri 21:00 Sat 23:00 Sun 23:45

After this 2-3 weeks we'll have enough data in our IG account to know which hours are the best, so we'll be posting when the higher amount of our audience is active.

67

Chapter 6 - Content Strategy You'll have stats like these, where you will be able to see at what time your audience is online and then we'll create our post schedule based on that. The more active people the more people will have the chance to engage with our content.

If you're thinking short-term it might feel like this is useless, but over the long-term that could make a huge difference in the reach and impressions of your posts.

68

Chapter 6 - Content Strategy Remember, those who pay attention to every single details will be the one most ready to win and achieve his goals. Alright but... How often we have to post? First, we have to understand what content we will be posting Its gonna be digital or physical created? If we're posting cooking recipes we can't cook 8 recipes to publish 8 times a day, so we'll publish 3 to 5 times a week.

69

Chapter 6 - Content Strategy The ideal would be to post at least once a day as minimum to maintain consistency and make the IG Algorithm happy. Frequency will vary depending on our niche, Remember the 10 accounts you should have in the watch list? Go on IGBlade.com and check how many times they post per day and the monthly average, write it down. If an account in our niche with 200k followers is posting 4 to 5 times a day, do you think you can play at the same level if you post 5 times a week? I don't think so.

70

Chapter 6 - Content Strategy We should publish at least the same amount of posts to play at the same level If you publish once a day and you have 10k impressions, you'll have 70k impressions weekly. Meanwhile other accounts are publishing 4 times a week getting the same 10k impressions but over a week they are getting 280k impressions. That's 4 times more impressions than yours... You might be thinking that if you publish 4 times a day they will unfollow you because you're annoying, and you might be right! But take in count, if they like your content they won't unfollow you even if you post 4 times a day.

71

Chapter 6 - Content Strategy Also, your content will be seen by different people as you'll be posting at different hours and if they unfollow you they weren't really into that niche, so they won't be much likely to purchase your products or services in the future. Part of our strategy is the research of high quality content and potential viral content so we'll understand from the first minute what's working best and what's not working so good If we take our time to do the research we can save a lot of time in the future and we'll be able to gather great intel within our niche and about the kind of post we should be focusing on creating.

72

Chapter 6 - Content Strategy Before starting to design our own content or before gathering content to repost we should know which one works best Video or photos? Also, we need to understand the trend of our niche and in which direction is it moving as it will be evolving and people will be willing to post the new-trendy content that will work better. When I started with Endless Evolve everyone was posting motivational quotes with a cool background and that was enough to get to 100k in few months But the trend evolved and then everyone was uploading infographics with useful info and so on

73

Chapter 6 - Content Strategy Nowadays the trend is moving into posts with 3 to 5 pictures joint together, so you'll need to swipe left if you want to keep reading, and that's a great trick since you will spend way more time watching that post The more time they spent watching your posts, the happier the algorithm will be Once you know what content works, try to find viral content or at least potentially viral content as it won't work the same always If they are using infographics in your niche it doesn't mean that all the infographics will work the same way

74

Chapter 6 - Content Strategy The best way to research for potential viral content is using your laptop or PC, you just go to Instagram on your browser and then check your watch list of accounts When you're passing the mouse over the posts you'll be able to see the amount of likes and comments each have without the need to open them one by one Every 9-12 posts you will be able to see one or two that are way over the average, that's the content we are searching for! That's called Proven Content, content that have proved that works its likely to perform better than the average again, or at worst it will work as average.

75

Chapter 6 - Content Strategy Same example as before:

As you can see, the first and the sixth pics have way more engagement than the other four pics, so we identify that content as potentially viral, we won't be always right but it will perform good most of the times.

76

Chapter 6 - Content Strategy If you're going to repost content from other accounts you can be saving these posts in your computer, so you'll be gathering content easily from other accounts. Also, if your plan is to repost you'll need more than 10 accounts in your watch list. If you're going to design your own content or you will hire a designer you just need to take a screenshot and save it for future ideas so you'll model it and use your brand colors and logo on it. Before I started publishing content on Endless Evolve I was just watching the niche for few weeks, to understand what they were doing to be able to create my own action plan

77

Chapter 6 - Content Strategy I was writing down what other guys from my niche were doing, how many times they were publishing per day, what they were uploading to their stories and after few weeks I started to see patterns on the things they were doing So if all of them were doing the same things it was because that was working good If we know that something works, we don't need to re-invent the wheel, just model it and create your own version.

78

Chapter 7 Instagram Stories

Instagram stories are one of our best tools to capture emails, redirect traffic or create sales They are even better once we hit the magic number of 10k followers as we unlock the "Swipe Up" option and we can redirect them to the url we desire. The people from our audience who is watching the stories have their phones in their hands and they are likely to be watching the screen, we have to create great stories that breaks attention patterns, so they will stop and pay attention to us.

79

Chapter 7 - Instagram Stories The more views we have in our stories, the easier will be to monetize the account, and once again, consistency is the king of the game. The bigger amount of stories we upload per day, the more chances we have to be on the firsts positions of our followers stories We can use few tricks to get some extra views on every story... Use 2-5 hashtags on them and hide them using the same text color as the background. Use geo-location & tag another accounts if you're reposting something related to them (don't be spammy).

80

Chapter 7 - Instagram Stories If you're going live on your stories chances are that you will be seen by your followers for sure, as when you go live you're appearing in the first position of the stories tab for your followers So it's quite Important to go live from time to time, weekly if possible and then you'll be answering questions, speaking with your followers, sharing things with them or whatever the reason, but go live!

81

Chapter 8

Writing our post captions Instagram is mainly a visual platform, so we will focus on sharing 80% of our message in the picture of the post But even if Instagram is mainly visual, we have to pay attention to what kind of captions are we publishing, we have the opportunity to engage, ask, and answer things in the caption of our posts and sometimes we'll be able to make our pic with less text as we move some text into the captions Captions are important to create the connection with our audience and that will turn them into true fans We have to take advantage of our captions since there's not many people paying attention to them and they post the same things over and over again.

82

Chapter 8 - Writing the caption An optimized caption should have this 3 parts: 1. We write a relevant and personalized comment align with our photo, we can share some experiences or tell something about the pic. 2. We ask a question to our followers, try to always ask open questions and not just "Yes or No?" questions as the engagement will be better from open questions. 3. Use a Call to Action (CTA), let them know what you're expecting from them, tag a friend, comment, share, like and save or click the link in our bio.

83

Chapter 8 - Writing the caption For example: We publish a pic doing some workout at the gym 1. "Today I'm training chest and legs, doing HIIT, I'm so dead after 2 rounds!" 2. What are your favorite HIIT workouts? 3. Comment & Tag that friend that is always trying to skip leg day! There you go, the perfect caption covering all the essential parts. 1. Connection 2. Open Question 3. Call to Action

84

Chapter 8 - Writing the caption When we are doing it this way we are creating a bigger engagement with our followers and they feel identified with the things we are sharing with them since you're sharing personal stuff about you So always try to cover all these 3 parts 1. Write a great comment 2. Ask an open question 3. Use a Call to Action!

85

Chapter 9 #Hashtags

86

Chapter 9 - Hashtags Hashtags are one of the things more importants when you're going to publish consistently, as they can be a great ally if you use them correctly. A hashtag is basically a way to tag your picture in a theme, topic or related thing, so you're telling Instagram what's your post about and they will put all together the posts using the same hashtags There are 3 main mistakes that everyone does when starting on Instagram, we're going to review them so we will learn how to avoid them in the future, this way we'll be more optimized and more ready to succeed!

87

Chapter 9 - Hashtags Error #1 - Using too big hashtags, popular & crowded. In this kind of hashtags our post will never be ranked at the top 9 since they are overused hashtags and there will be an account with hundreds of likes more than your pic (#PicOfTheDay #Travel #TravelGram #Love)

Error #2 - Repeating the same hashtags in every post. We must vary and rotate our hashtags in every post so we will avoid losing reach and we'll increase the odds of getting to the explore page.

88

Chapter 9 - Hashtags Error #3 - Not using a single hashtag or using too many The minimum amount should be something between 2 to 5 hashtags and the maximum between 20-28 (30 is the max, so don't go over 30) Now, we know what mistakes we should avoid, so now we are going to work into the things that we should be doing We MUST use relevant hashtags to our niche and to the pic that we are about to publish

89

Chapter 9 - Hashtags It doesn't matter if you rank #1 for the hashtag #HotDogs if the picture you're about to post is a car. So we must stay relevant to our niche and pic, we need to have enough hashtags to avoid repeating the same on every post The best thing you can do is to find 50-70 hashtags so we'll have plenty to use over the next months and then every now and then you can search for few more

90

Chapter 9 - Hashtags I have around 100 different hashtags that are relevant to my niche and I random shuffle them using this web: HashtagShuffle.com Doing it this way I pick a random number and I get a random combination of hashtags for every post Also, we need to understand that not every hashtag will be good to use as if they are extremely popular we won't make it to the top 9 if we just have 60 likes per pic Using extremely popular hashtags is as useful as not using any.

91

Chapter 9 - Hashtags So, we need to have an idea about our ideal size range for the hashtags we're about to research Engagement equals to the amount of likes, comments, saves & shares. For this case we'll use only likes & comments, Just sum up all the likes & comments from the last 6-12 pictures and divide it by the same amount of pictures you used to count the likes & comments.

92

Capitulo 9 - Los Hashtags We'll give a different value to comments and likes 1 Like = 1 point 1 comment = 3 points Because comments are way harder to get than likes, so they are more valuable for the algorithm. Once we have all summed up we'll divide it and we'll have our average range. In this case I used 6 pics so I will divide all the points by 6 and the result is 1197 points Now we'll create a hashtag ladder, using this strategy we'll be ranking on top of small hashtags often, and that engagement will help us to move up the ladder to the big hashtags We'll use 5 different levels and we'll multiply our points for each level

93

Chapter 9 - Hashtags

We start multiplying our points by each of the levels to get our ideal hashtag size 1197 x5 = 6k 1197 x10 = 12k 1197 x15 = 18k 1197 x20 = 24k 1197 x25 = 30k

94

Chapter 9 - Hashtags The next step is to write down a list of 1015 related things to our niche and to our account, so we'll have relationed hashtags

Our ideal hashtag size ranges from 6k up to 30k in this example, so we'll be typing our keywords on Instagram from our laptop and we'll be scrolling down to find hashtags in our range and new ideas for keywords to get more hashtags

95

Chapter 9 - Hashtags Something that a lot of people wonders is where to put the hashtags, in the caption or in the coments? Both places are right, as hashtags will be indexed in any of them. So you can put them wherever you want, if you're posting manually you can put them in the comment section and if you're automating the post schedule you can use them in the caption I use Iconosquare to post my content so I put them in the caption to "Set&Forget" as I can't be checking out when is the next post to run and add the hashtags in the caption..

96

Chapter 9 - Hashtags Of course, our post will be more "clean" and less messy if we use our hashtags in the comment section, but we won't be able to do so always, so don't worry. If you're going to use them in the caption just use dots or dashes to push the hashtags to the bottom of the caption Where you shouldn't use hashtags is in your bio, as I can find a lot of people doing so. Hashtags doesn't get indexed into the bio, so there's no real difference between using #Entrepreneur or Entrepreneur Instead of wasting a character for the # you can use a related emoji

97

Chapter 10 Growth Strategy

Instagram is a social platform, so we must be social. The more social we are, the higher engagement we create inside the platform, the happier the algorithm. You must engage with accounts within your niche This way, you'll benefit from eachother by creating partnerships or collaborations together

98

Chapter 10 - Growth Strategies One of the most common colabs are "S4S" that stands for Shoutout for Shoutout. When you do an S4S you'll exchange content with the other account and you'll be sharing it in your posts, story or both. The other account will do the same with your content This way you'll be creating a crosspromotion where you're gaining exposure from 2 different audiences If each of you have 10k followers, its quite unlikely that you'll have the same 10k followers, you might have 10-20% shared followers, but there will be a huge amount of people that doesn't know neither of the accounts So we are winning more attention from new people that are interested in the niche.

99

Chapter 10 - Growth Strategies To be able to find this kind of colabs you can Direct message (DM) other accounts in your niche, try to find accounts that are doing a great job and they have around the same size of following audience as you have, even if you ask to bigger accounts sometimes they will be fine doing the colaboration Also, you will be able to find S4S groups inside Telegram & Instagram where there will be a schedule of shout-outs So if there's 7 accounts in the group, you will be giving a shout-out to 1 guy per day and in your scheduled day you'll receive 6 shout-outs, and that's an amazing way to grow and gain new followers

100

Chapter 10 - Growth Strategies There are groups of different size and rules One of the best groups are the ones with 21 people on it. Let's imagine 21 accounts with 10-20k followers exchanging S4S's Every day you'll have to make 3x s4s with the content they shared in the group, but then, you'll receive 20 shout-outs from different accounts in a single day, that's hell of eyeballs pointing to your profile! That will be really helpful to grow!

101

Chapter 10 - Growth Strategies The best way to find this groups is by creating them, Instead of asking to join their DM groups, ask them to join yours, so you'll control the rules within it. If you ask them nicely if they want to join your new dm groups where you'll be just a few to maintain the quality they will be happy to join. Another way to grow at the beginning and gaining some traction when you have barely no followers is by doing Follow/Unfollow+Like What you have do to is find big accounts in your niche with around 10k to 25k and follow their followers, it's quite likely that they will follow back as they shown interest for the niche

102

Chapter 10 - Growth Strategies This might be a though task to do, but there are plenty of softwares that will help you to follow & unfollow people on auto-pilot. Just be careful as with the recently changes of Instagram you'll get a followblock if you go over certain number of actions per month (Around 4 to 5k follows in a single month) This strategy can work at first, but once you've reached few thousand followers it won't work as good as it did when you were around 1k Once you're gaining 50-100 new followers per day this strategy will be not really useful, but you can still do 10-20 follows a day manually and next day unfollow them.

103

Chapter 10 - Growth Strategies If you're going to use an automation tool be careful and make your own research before jumping into the first thing you find Don't start making hundreds of follows/likes per day as you'll get probably banned. Slow & Steady wins the race.

104

Chapter 11 Driving Traffic

Our account can be an excelent source of traffic for our website, blog, ecommerce or Shopify store, we can drive our own traffic or leverage third parties traffic. We must remember that our followers belong to Instagram, they are not ours. So we MUST drive our followers to a place we have control over, like our web or email list. Think about this... You have 100k followers and 0 emails, tomorrow you wake up and your account is banned, hacked or whatever You're in trouble.

105

Chapter 11 - Driving Traffic BUT, If this happened and we had an email list of 20.000 people we would be still in control of a huge audience So our problem will be way smaller as we could still get in touch with them and sell them things. It's essential that we're actively collecting emails to have them as a life saving and to use them few times a month to connect with our followers. Instagram limits the usage of clickable url's in their platform, so we can only use them in the bio of our account or in the swipe-up story if we are over 10k followers. This can be something that plays to our advantage as there will be less spam than in platforms like Twitter, Facebook or others where it's full of links everywhere.

106

Chapter 11 - Driving Traffic There are useful websites like Linktr.ee that will make our lives easier, allowing you to create a landing page with different options in a matter of 2 minutes. There you'll be able to create different options that will redirect people to different places wherever you want. When we create IG stories and we desire to drive people by using the swipe-up option we must warm-up our viewers We have to change their state of mind and prime them. Let's say you want them to check your latest recipe, start creating 2-3 stories speaking about how nice it taste the last thing you cooked, what awesome ingredients you use and then put in front of them a call to action to swipe-up

107

Chapter 11 - Driving Traffic If our goal is to drive traffic to our website where we are promoting a weight loss program we can upload some stories with testimonials If we show people that have used our program, they will be able to see the results they might achieve by purchasing it and they will be more likely to check our website. We as humans are always trying to get away from pain and run towards pleasure, create stories having that in mind always.

108

Chapter 12

Making Money on Instagram I'm sure that if you've made it this far is because your goal is to be able to generate income through Instagram and If you can live from it even better. That's something hard to achieve, but as Napoleon Hill said: "Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve" There are millions of people using Instagram every single day, and there's thousands of sales made within Instagram daily, from all kind of niches & all kind of products.

109

Chapter 12 - Making Money On Instagram There are few ways to monetize your IG account that I will explain in detail in the following pages, but this is a little example of the hundreds of ways to make money online on Instagram or outside IG. We're going to speak about 4 ways to make money through Instagram. #1 - Selling Shout-outs to others. We can sell shout-outs to other accounts to help them to promote or gain followers faster, this is probably one of the oldest ways to make money on IG but is still working.

110

Chapter 12 - Making Money On Instagram But first, we need to position ourselves as an authority in our niche, and then we'll be able to promote other accounts and profit from it. We can sell shout-outs to promote things in our feed, story or even our link in the bio Advantages: Doing a shout-out takes literally 2 minutes so you can make a good amount of extra income monthly if we compare it with a traditional job. An account with 100k followers can charge from 30$ to 300$+ for one shoutout, depending of his niche and the quality of his following, obviously an account with 100k doesn't grow overnight, so that's one of the disadvantages

111

Chapter 12 - Making Money On Instagram "Disadvantage": You need to grow a following and it will take you a while, 3 to 6 months to have a decent amount of followers to be able to sell shout-outs. You have to be carefull with what you promote, as if you try to scam your followers and try to promote rubbish you will lose all their trust you've built Don't do promotions to make quick bucks, think always long-term.

112

Chapter 12 - Making Money On Instagram #2 Strategy to make money Create & Sell physical or digital products to your audience, driving them from IG to Amazon for example. You can even create a shop on your Instagram account as you have that options in business acounts, and you'll be able to tag products and prices in your posts. Advantages: Most of the income is going to your pocket, as it's your own product, so you have to sell less products to be able to make 3-4 figures per month.

113

Chapter 12 - Making Money On Instagram Digital products (like this ebook) are an awesome way to start making online revenue as they can be highly leveraged Once I finish writing this ebook, it will be the same cost to get 10 downloads than 10.000 downloads as the book is already written and it doesn't require extra work. "Disadvantage": Digital or Physical products require to have deep knowledge in a certain topic or niche and it will take few weeks to complete the product.

114

Chapter 12 - Making Money On Instagram #3 Money Making Strategy Affiliate marketing is the third of our strategies, It's been around for many years and still working as the first day. Basically, what you'll do is promotions of other companies products and they will share with you the amount of each sale you make using your affiliate link. This strategy is quite easy since you don't need to create a product, and most of the affiliate programs out there will give you tons of resources and information to be able to promote their products in the best way possible You just need to find products that you truly believe they can help your followers and start promoting them!

115

Chapter 12 - Making Money On Instagram Advantages: Easy to start making some money as the entry barrier is zero and your investment will be likely to zero as well and this kind of products are really easy to find Just Google: [Your Niche ] + Affiliate Program "Disadvantages": Affiliate comissions can be low sometimes on low price items, so It won't be easy to make a good amount of money unless you make a good amount of sales every month.

116

Chapter 12 - Making Money On Instagram #4 Money Making Strategy Coaching Calls on Skype on 1 to 1 or groups of few people, this way allows you to help other people to learn more about your topic or niche and to develop their knowledge faster, they will get your time and knowledge and you'll get money in exchange. This is something a lot of people do (Incluiding myself) to make money from their knowledge and to help others to move faster towards their goals in a certain area. Advantages: We can make money online by teaching our topic of expertise, so we will love to talk about that topic, and the best way to learn more is to teach

117

Chapter 12 - Making Money On Instagram You'll help other people, and that will help yourself to develop yourself as a better professional and person. "Disadvantages": This way of making money is a direct exchange of your time, so if you don't have a lot of time you will be a bit limited if you have to coach few people every day, This would be the first step into digital product if you start recording coaching calls and using them as a digital coachings, so you'll be able to help more people with less time. This 4 strategies are the most popular kinds of ways to make money on Instagram or other platforms, most of the big brands or accounts uses them, and they've been proven over the years to work.

118

Chapter 12 - Making Money On Instagram If you're able to make 100$ per month there's no excuse on earth that would stop you from making 1000$ per month, the only difference is that you have to optimize the system and put in more work. The most common mistake ever made is when we are trying to make money on Instagram and we're not even willing to put in the work nor learn how to do things. I'm going to share with you a real example from a guy that texted me to ask how he could make a full time job from Instagram His niche was Travel + Photography, so his main goal was mix this two things and make a living from them. He told me "My Dream is to travel the world making money from IG"

119

Chapter 12 - Making Money On Instagram

I went to his Instagram account and checked his profile, feed and overall account to check in what point he was He managed to grow to almost 6k in the last 2 years. Then he told me " I been 2 years working hard to create a big following, but I been stuck in 6k for a while" he said. He told me that Follow/Unfollow wasn't working that good anymore and he wasn't able to grow past the 6k barrier. Looking his profile I saw that he had 70 posts made and then I checked when he published the first post, It was late 2016, so the account was around 2 years old.

120

Chapter 12 - Making Money On Instagram The first thing that I was thinking about was that he told me: "I've been working hard for 2 years" and he had just 70 posts on his account... that was weird Then I told him, "You have the following you deserve. 2 years have 104 weeks, so he basically made one post every 10 days (yeah lol) So, something you do once every 10 days is a HOBBY, not a PASSION. The thing is that hobbies cost money, while passions generates it. If you're really passionate about something you'll be able to make money out of it.

121

Chapter 12 - Making Money On Instagram I went to Instagram to find travel accounts to be able to show him "hard work" then I find an account with 150k followers and around 1.200 posts. (yeah, twelve hundred) The oldest post was around 2 years as well, so it was the perfect example to show him. That second account was posting almost twice a day (1.6x per day) So you can't try to make money out of something when you're posting 3 times PER MONTH! when there's people out there posting 45 times per month This guy was speechless and he understood what was the reason of his low amount of followers.

122

Chapter 12 - Making Money On Instagram Then, over the next hour I started to craft an action plan for him, to drastically increase the odds of success and to be able to make money while traveling and even live full time doing it. The first thing he needed was to be consistent.  Remember I did mentioned that many times earlier? Exactly! I explained him that he must post at least 5 times per week as minimum if he wanted to be in the race for success Then, the second thing was to stay away from a hobby and start creating a bussines out of a passion.

123

Chapter 12 - Making Money On Instagram So I suggested him to create basic website with a blog or a videoblog and then start posting content 2-3 times per month consistently. He could share tips and tricks for travelers, experiences, reviews of places or whatever the things travelers want to read. Third, If he wanted to make money by traveling, then he should travel more, It's okay if you can't go to Rome or New York every weekend, but at least once or twice a month go few hundred miles around and get to a nice place where you can create content. Visit a farm house a lake or whatever.

124

Chapter 12 - Making Money On Instagram

The goal with this was to create a portfolio of places where he traveled, so Hotels, Farm Houses or Villas could see his portfolio and his work as Travel Blogger. Once he can show how he can add value to their business they will be more willing to give discounts or even pay for creating content related to their business. Fourth, I told him that he must become an authority online on AirBnb, TripAdvisor, Booking, CouchSurfind and any other travel oriented platform and he would do so by engaging in these platforms where he can add value to others and write great reviews from places he been traveling around.

Chapter 12 - Making Money On Instagram As we are creating & sharing content of our trips we are building assets and we are showing what kind of work we can do for others creating a travel review We are showing them that we are serious about what we do and that's not just our hobby, it's our PASSION. Can you see the difference from the first guy that wanted to be a travel blogger and the second one with the action plan in hand? The first guy wanted to make money traveling while he posts 3 times per month, doing zero extra effort. And with the action plan the same guy is going to publish at least 5 times a week, write & publish content 2-3 times per month and he will create a portfolio of reviews and content.

Chapter 12 - Making Money On Instagram Now he will have accounts in traveling platforms leaving reviews, helping others and ADDING VALUE to everyone there, after all of this it's more likely that he will end up being paid to travel, and not before. At first his mindset was like: "Pay me and then I will create a review and content for your hotel"

After the coaching call his mindset was more like this:

I add value

I leave reviews adding value

I create content on my blog I make money traveling the world while I do what I love the most

I'm able to travel at discount

I keep adding value

Chapter 12 - Making Money On Instagram This is a real example and this can be applied in any topic or area of your life Don't try to achieve success by doing 10 time less than other guys, If they publish 10 post a week and you publish two Who you think it has more chances of winning? Exactly, the guy that's putting in the work and posting 10 times per week!

Remember, do WHATEVER IT TAKES and you have to be #EndlessEvolving
