Magnetic Monopole Part One (of Four Parts) Ra Uru Hu One of the very interesting core aspects and most extraordinary mysteries of Human Design is the Magnetic Monopole. It’s been very fortunate that, in terms of the information of the revelation, that so much of this information has been verified at some level or another. The verification of the neutrino with mass and the magnetic monopole leads to an ability for us to be able to mechanically have a reliable way to look at the way in which we operate and the way in which the world operates.

Just to put physics into a very simple binary, we basically have a dualistic concept now of what is called the Universe, what we refer to in Human Design as the Biverse. There is this dualism between what we call Relativity, which is a way of understanding the dimensionality of the world put forward by Einstein, and on the other side, quantum. We have two very different ways in which we can see, and verify through those different ways, the universe that we look at. In other words, quantum within quantum can be verified, and Relativity within Relativity can be verified. But there is as yet no bridge between these two domains, no bridge between the relativistic view of the universe and the quantum view.

This is the Holy Grail of higher physics, to find some kind of unified principle (Unified Field Theory is one of the names it goes under) in which one can integrate these two aspects. In many ways it goes back to the very beginning of the Universe itself with the Big Bang. We know that what emerged from singularity was a basic binary, a binary in particle physics that we can reduce to leptons and quarks. And ultimately as we come down the line, we get to this point in the development of our intellectual capacity that we are actually in the same place, just in the larger dimension of that duality. We do have these two different ways in which dimensionally, the totality functions. The thing that holds it all together is the mystery. What is the unifying force? What is it that brings this all together? For me it’s clear that this is the Magnetic Monopole. Let’s look at this in a microcosmic sense. We’re going to look at the way in which the Magnetic Monopole holds together the illusion of our lives. And not only the illusion of our lives, but in holding us together literally, creates the construct that we work with, the dynamics of the Human Design mandala wheel and everything that is associated with it. The Magnetic Monopole is really a key element in any understanding of Human Design, or any understanding of the physics beyond that.

To begin with, this is a very, very old illustration. This glyph of the Magnetic Monopole is one of the first that was drawn. I don’t pretend to completely understand this drawing but what I do understand is the 8 that is inherent in it. And what is so interesting from that perspective is this profound relationship that exists between the Magnetic Monopole and what we in Human Design call the G Center. Or what we reference to as the potential of consistent or inconsistent identity. We can also see two other elements that are here in this illustration. This is an illustration of the Design Crystal and of the Personality Crystal. It is these three elements that are the essence of how life is, in a way, projected. How it’s put out literally into the world. There is a very profound relationship that exists between the Design Crystal and the Monopole. In Human Design give the Monopole the label or the keynote of the Driver, and the Design Crystal is the Vehicle. So here we have the Driver and the Vehicle together. When you think about it, in essence, the Driver and the Vehicle represent everything. The Driver and the Vehicle is the life. It is the life. The Monopole and the Design Crystal have an extraordinary relationship to each other because Monopoles imbed themselves literally into the Design Crystal. If we could look into the schematic of this Design Crystal we would see in essence that this form can fit into this Crystal.

The condition of the Design Crystal and the Monopole being together in a bond together is how they exist before incarnation. And this is what happens at the moment of biological death as well. They come together again at death. The biological death is signaled by the Design Crystal traveling down the central channel, going down the channel 43-23 and the 8-1, and going into the G Center, aligning and bonding again with the Magnetic Monopole, and then continuing the journey outward until it leaves the body. This is what takes place at death. There is a very special relationship that exists between this Design Crystal and the Magnetic Monopole, and this created a dilemma for the Personality Crystal. The dilemma of the Personality is that it assumes that it does things, that it is in charge of the life; it assumes that it is the Driver. It assumes that it owns this Vehicle and can do what it likes with the vehicle. In fact, the only true capacity that the Personality/Passenger has is to just simply look out the window. So when we are looking at his configuration, what I really want you to deeply think about is this relationship that is there between the Design Crystal and the Magnetic Monopole. The moment that a human being comes into existence is the moment that the Personality Crystal enters the vehicle, which happens at 88 degrees of the sun before birth or about 88 or 89 days before the actual birth. Now, according to almost all religious traditions, the soul, the so-called soul, which in Human Design we refer to as the Personality Crystal, is there at the moment of conception. This is one of the deepest fallacies about what it is to be a human being. It is the moment that the Personality Crystal enters the body that gives us our humanness. It is the Personality Crystal and its relationship with the Vehicle, the quantum or holistic view of the combining of the Personality Crystal in the body with the Design Crystal and the Magnetic Monopole, that gives us our human nature. There is no human nature before the point in which the Personality Crystal enters into the Vehicle. As an example, when we think about stem cell research, or first trimester abortions, and we look at the uproar that all of that causes because it is said to be murder, and so on, and the potential cures that are possible through being able to work with stem cells that are going to be denied simply because you harvest an 18 hour old stem cell which you consider to be a human life. Obviously this is a problem connected with religions and the way in which the homogenized Not-Self looks at things. It is one of the great jokes to recognize that humanity does not know when they first become human, and when life stops. In other words, there is an assumption that life begins with conception and ends with death. And yet, we know that the Personality Crystal arrives late in the Vehicle, and leaves late after death as it lingers for up to 72 hours. So there is a deep misunderstanding that is again pointed directly at the central part of my theme right now and that is this relationship between the Design Crystal and the Magnetic Monopole. They are there before the Personality Crystal ever arrives. They build the Vehicle. They build the fetus. They build a mechanism. They build a biomass. A very sophisticated biomass, but nonetheless, what they’re building is a biomass. And it’s only at the point when the Personality Crystal enters into the Vehicle that the biomass takes on what is its transcended nature. That is when it becomes the potentiality of a human being, only then. What it says is how limited the involvement is of the Personality Crystal. When you understand the nature of the Design Crystal and its relationship to the Magnetic Monopole, and the building of the vehicle in the first 3 months from the point of conception, all of the potential of that being is created without any input from the Personality Crystal. It’s not like the Personality Crystal is in any way an architect nor is it in any way able to influence what is going on in terms of the building of the Vehicle that is going to be delivered, and the Driver that is going to move it through its life.

The Personality Crystal is very confused as it thinks that it is “it”; it is identified with being the life. It begins to be very deep and very terrible black humor as the Personality Crystal assumes that this mind is in charge of anything, that it assumes that it’s in charge, that it assumes that it can control the destiny of its life, that it assumes that it is the life when in fact it isn’t, it’s just the passenger to the life. Not only that, but the Personality and the potential of the Personality is limited by the refinement of the Vehicle. If the Vehicle does not produce a really good brainpan, then you’re not going to have the advantages and full potential of the Personality to reflect consciousness because it’s going to be limited by the vehicle. And so, when we are talking about the Magnetic Monopole, we begin to understand that the Magnetic Monopole transcends, in so many ways, the Personality. The Monopole is in essence an instrument that creates the potential of the whole drama.

The Personality and the potential of the Personality is limited by the refinement of the Vehicle. If the Vehicle does not produce a really good brainpan, then you’re not going to have the advantages and full potential of the Personality to reflect consciousness because it’s going to be limited by the vehicle. And so, when we are talking about the Magnetic Monopole, we begin to understand that the Magnetic Monopole transcends, in so many ways, the Personality. The Monopole is in essence an instrument that creates the potential of the whole drama. In looking at this illustration below, first of all the neutrino stream, in thinking about the neutrino stream going through the crystal, think about its tiny-ness for a moment, and imagine that it is one neutrino at a time that penetrates. The relationship is probably 3.5 to 1 in terms of the size of the crystal to what a single

neutrino would be relative to. So we are talking about very, very tiny things to begin with. But let’s think about this process. We’ve got a neutrino and we’ve got a neutrino with mass and this neutrino with mass is going to bang into something that has mass as well. The Crystal is not porous. Because the neutrino can go through anything, (a neutrino could go through a 10 thousand million mile wide lead wall like a hot knife through butter), this neutrino is going to go through this Crystal material but in meeting this Crystal material it will meet a boundary. This is a point at which the neutrino itself meets the surface or meets the boundary of the Crystal. When anything meets anything, there is a vibration that is given off. There is a frequency which we have labeled Crystal Entry Frequency. This Crystal Entry Frequency is what we call Base. Everything about science is about measuring frequency. Everything. Light to sound, it’s all about frequencies, and all about giving those measurements a name, a number, whatever the case may be, in order to codify them. We could talk about colors in terms of numbers too. After all, every color gives off a frequency; it is after all a number in a sense. The name that we give to this specific frequency when this neutrino stream hits this crystal is Base. And we interpret this frequency as Base, and as most of you know in Human Design, we have 5 Bases. So there are 5 different variations of frequency that can exist from the interaction of a neutrino with the boundary with the crystal. In the second stage the neutrino is going to go through the crystal, and everything within the crystal, the domain, the architecture inside this crystal, is the inner frequency. And this inner frequency is what we refer to as Tone. This is the frequency that takes place within the crystal. Every single human being has a unique crystal. And that central area that is there within the physical crystal, this is where the information is for the building of this aspect of the whole. This is where the inner architecture is that emerges as the vehicle. This is where the core information is for building this vehicle. The concentrated focus of the architecture is to build a vehicle that is cognizant, to build a vehicle that can display cognition. And when that neutrino exits, when it fires through the inner environment, as it leaves, there is this exit frequency. The Crystal Exit Frequency that we refer to as Color. Color is the frequency as it leaves.

This illustration shows us the way in which neutrino information programs us. There are many, many possibilities and variations of how we experience this programming. There are many combinations of the five Bases, six Tones, and the six Colors. The Monopole is an extraordinary thing. It is the magic in the middle of all of this. The way in which the Monopole works is that it influences us in two very specific ways. Number one: It holds us together in the illusion of our separateness. What does that actually mean? The Design Crystal and the Personality Crystal are two very different things. They have different dates, different data, they function in totally different ways. There is an enormous difference between the Vehicle (Design Crystal) and the Passenger (Personality Crystal) and they do not have a natural relationship to each other. They don’t. The ordeal of the Sacred Marriage is inside of us. It is about coming to grips with these 2 different things being able to exist with each other. The way in which that is accomplished is that the Magnetic Monopole is a magnet that only attracts. It is a mono-pole! Because of this attraction capacity, the Monopole grabs onto the Color frequency. This is what makes Color so important. It grabs onto the Color frequency and it pulls from those two frequencies together into the holistic whole that we call a human being (bodygraph). This is the Magnetic Monopole holding us together in the illusion of our separateness. This is its first job. Its second job is that like the arm of a streetcar, it connects us to our specific geometry. And our specific geometry emerges out of the quantum. For example, the difference between being a Right Angle and a Left Angle person can only be derived once you bring these two elements (Design and Personality) together and integrate them into the bodygraph. Only then do you get such a thing as a Profile; only then do you begin to see trajectory; only then do these things emerge. All of this is a by-product of the work of the Magnetic Monopole. Think about it. It’s not super-glue, in the sense that the holding together is a constant act. It’s a constant millisecond by millisecond by millisecond act. There is a thing that I want you to grasp, and it’s a sidebar but it is something that you really need to think about for a moment. Color is enormously important because Color is our underlying motivation at the Personality level, and our underlying physical determination at the Design level. And one of the dilemmas of Color is that Color can be pulled by the Monopole and in a sense Color is unstable enough that it can be pulled. And Color is always, as a result, something that is subject to transference. When a human being isn’t operating correctly, rather than the exit frequency being their correct Color, the exit frequency is a transferred Color and what is being pulled together is not them at all. And that’s really something to grasp.

The only way that a human being can even begin to have the Monopole pull together the expression of their correctness is with Strategy and Authority. There is no other way. There is no other way. There is certainly no way with the mind - none whatsoever. The moment that you grasp that what’s being pulled together is subject to change and that for the vast majority of humanity being held together in the illusion of their separateness, is being held together in the illusion of being Not-Self. That their true potential is not what the Monopole is holding together at all. It’s not. And it will only be able to hold together what is correct (true self), when the vehicle is operating correctly. The Monopole is very profound in the way in which it operates and it also is a force that latches onto what is our direction. One of the aspects of Design Color is about the correctness of environments. But you cannot be pulled into the correct environment if you are in transference. When the vehicle is not operating correctly you don’t get the life that is correct for you. You get a life of transference. So the Monopole is going to hold together the illusion it can and maintain us to a geometry based on either the not-self or the true-self. And in the not-self process we never gain the advantages that are there for us. We just don’t.

When you take this out of the physics and you begin to enter into understanding how the Monopole puts its capacity, its abilities, to work within the graph, we need to look to the G Center. When we look at the G Center we have to think about the two Crosses that are there in the G Center. These two Incarnation Crosses are unusual. They are anomalies because they have all four of their arms (gates) in the G Center. The Cross of the Vessel of Love and the Cross of the Sphinx each have all four of their arms in the same Center, the G Center. These two crosses are really extraordinary. When you look at them simply as two crosses, we have the Incarnation Cross of the Sphinx which is about Direction. This

is simply an expression of the attribute of the Magnetic Monopole to align us to what is our correct direction in this life. And the Incarnation Cross of the Vessel of Love is the other cross in the G Center. These two crosses hold us together in the illusion of our separateness. The Vessel of Love is about how this vehicle in its separateness integrates into the world around it; a direction of social interaction in the world itself. These two crosses are not just simply unusual because they are crosses that are entirely within the context of the G Center. In Part Three we will look at what this means.

Magnetic Monopole Part Three (of Four Parts) Ra Uru Hu

These are lower trigrams of the eight gates of the G Center. This is an incredibly magical Mandala. When you look at the eight gates of the G Center you can understand that it is the G Center in essence that creates and gives order to the entire Mandala. Notice, starting at the 25th gate (part of the Vessel of Love) that there are eight hexagrams to get to the second gate, The Receptive. And if you look at every single one of these eight hexagrams between the 25 and the 2 you will notice that all of

them have the same lower trigram; this lower trigram of yang yin yin. And if you go to the 2nd gate and you go all the way along until you get to just before the 15th gate you will see that they all have a yin yin yin lower trigram. In other words, each of the gates of the G Center establishes an imprint for each of the gates that follow. And though they will have variations in the upper trigram, every single one of these eight gates are literally part of a family, and the family is rooted in the lower trigrams established by the G gate. Here is the wonder of beauty and symmetry. On the one side you have the 25 with yang yin yin and on the other side of the wheel you have 46 with yin yang yang. These two gates are opposite each other in the wheel and they are an exact mirror, as is the 15 to the 10, the 13 to the 7 and the 2 to the 1. Perfect mirrors of each other, three yin and three yang. And every single one of these eight gates establishes the infrastructure, the foundation of the whole movement of energy that is going around the wheel. But there’s even more than that. If you start at the 13th gate and you go all the way to the 24, just before the yin, the 2, you’ve got 16 hexagrams in a row with the bottom two lines being the same. The wheel is divided up into quarters. And you can see that you are going to have two groups of eight that are going to have the same binary base, and if you go to the next two groups of eight they have the same base as yin yin, and the next group of eight have yin yang, followed by yang yang, followed by yang yin. The wheel is divided up into its quarters by looking at the bottom two lines. And further, when you divide it in half you have four groups of eight with yin bottom lines, and you’ve got four groups of eight with yang bottom lines so you have a yin side and a yang side of the wheel. The eight gates of the G Center represent eight different houses; the four quarters; and the fundamental binary that is there in the wheel itself. The Magnetic Monopole represents the illusion of life. We all know that this is an interesting concept and there is a solidity to this illusion that is quite impressive. The Monopole pulls us together. The Design Crystal and the Personality Crystal don’t make bodies, the Monopole does. The Monopole creates the illusion of the Vehicle. And not

only does the Monopole create the illusion of the Vehicle, the Monopole creates the illusion of the wheel, of the Zodiac, of the sky, everything. It is Monopoles that hold everything together in the illusion. They hold the Totality together in the illusion of its separateness. And you can see by looking at this glyph of the Monopole that it has 8 components. The Monopole’s energy is going out through these eight gates. Each of these gates is more than what they appear to be. We have seen the pattern. And when you see that the Monopole reaches out to the entire wheel, and pulls the entire wheel back in, in that sense, you can understand why we call this the Center of Identity. When we personalize this down to a bodygraph and talk about the G Center as a center of identity, we have those who have very strong fixed identities and those that have inconsistent identities. And the inconsistent identities lead to a mind that has a Not-Self strategy that is always looking for love and it never knows if it is going in the right direction. These are by-products of the G Center’s general function of the bodygraph and how the G Center operates. We’re looking at an underlying mechanic here. We’re looking at the way in which the Monopole operates through the G Center.

Technically speaking the Monopole sits in the 2nd gate. It doesn’t mean specifically that if you don’t have an activation in the 2nd gate that your Monopole doesn’t work properly. One thing has nothing to do with the other. It will mean that you have an inconsistent relationship to what is the right direction for you in life, and direction is going to be a big thing in your life. It’s going to be very, very important for you. But it doesn’t mean that there is a lack of function in what the Monopole is doing, so I don’t want you to confuse these two aspects. The Magnetic Monopole brings together, organizes and engineers not only our physical environment, but the Totality environment around us. Please grasp how significant an instrument this is. To begin to see what that really means is to understand how each and every one of us are deeply connected to the whole. It’s like looking at the bodygraph and understanding that when you see activations in the bodygraph, that what you are seeing is the highlighting of what is the complete genetic layout. If you look at every single gate in the bodygraph, the potential of the 64 gates and the 384 lines, you are looking at all of the potential, generalized genetic information. What we see in our individual bodygraph are those aspects (channels, gates, lines, etc) that are highlighted, and through those highlights we see what we are to live out as our differentiation. And at the same time, we need to be connected to the whole genetic field otherwise we could not be alive living in this environment. The wheel and the G Center are all just the perfection of the interior mechanics as everything emerges out of this. All of the possibilities of the Totality emerge out of this.

Magnetic Monopole Part Four (of Four Parts) Ra Uru Hu

When we come to the mundane and look at the G Center in terms of how it works within the bodygraph, within the design of beings, to have the G Center defined in a Design means that this definition is something that is very, very narrow. You can see from the previous illustration and the way in which the information moves through the crystal that you have this very fine line from the base to the tone to the color to the line to the gate to the integration into the graph. And so beings that have defined G Centers have very, very narrow fixed identity. It’s often why their identity appears to be so sharp in contrast to others, simply because there is this consistency on this very narrow line.

The dilemma for those who have an undefined G Center is that there is no consistency of identity, but that doesn’t mean there is no consistency of persona. This is often deeply misunderstood. You can be somebody with an undefined G and you have an outer persona that others recognize. The dilemma for most people with the undefined G is that it doesn’t have anything to do with them. In other words, if you have an undefined G Center, your identity isn’t the problem but getting hooked in identity is very much the problem. It’s the same dilemma that exists in any open center. The moment that you get caught up in trying to fulfill the potential of that open center, trying to fix it, trying to define it, then you end up with the deepest possible conditioning. Again, everything about being able to reach a point of correctness and awakeness is to be able to accept and surrender to what is your Design and surrender to the Authority of your Vehicle. The moment that you surrender to the Authority of your Vehicle is the moment that your openness loses the power to distort life for you. Most people with undefined G Centers have a very distorted perception of identity. This is a natural by-product of taking information into an open center. Remember what happens. Open centers, when they take in conditioning, they amplify it and the amplification leads to distortion. Things become worse than they actually are; feelings become more uncomfortable than they need to be and so forth and so on. Most human beings with an open G Center get carried away on the inflated identity.

So many beings with the undefined G Center spend their lives feeling lost, or being lost. Most of them end up in mazes where they think they know where they are, when in fact, if it came to really getting out of there they wouldn’t know how whatsoever. It can be very, very distracting at that point. They are not able to consistently really connect in terms of having a sense of where everything is going. They can really be out of step and not know where the wind is blowing because they are caught up in the pursuit. One of the most interesting things about the G Center is that the G Center and the Throat Center are the first two things that emerge after conception. In the beginning of the development of the body the Design Crystal and the Magnetic Monopole begin their separation and the Design crystal moves to the throat center and the Monopole sits in the G Center. At the very beginning of this process the G Center has a biorelationship to the liver. This is interesting because when we talk about cellular renewal over the seven-year de-conditioning process the vast majority of cells in the Vehicle are renewed except for the liver. Memory is stored in the liquid in the cells and over a period of seven years most of the cells are renewed in the vehicle. With the liver having a biological association to the G center it says something very interesting about how deep a travail the open G center process can be. Once there’s damage to the identity or liver it is very difficult to heal and rejuvenate. You don’t have the benefit of cellular renewal when it comes to the G Center. You kill a liver cell; you really kill it. This says something about the specialness of the G Center. It also says something about the abuse of alcohol. It is, simply, about understanding that the abuse of alcohol, and its direct impact on the liver, is a clear indication that this is something that is really dangerous for the Vehicle, dangerous for direction in life, and dangerous for love in life. Alcohol abuse is a real problem for the liver, and it immediately sets off all kinds of deep warning signals about the identity and the nature of the G and its connection to the Monopole and the connection all this has to the viability of our lives on this plane. So this is something to keep in mind. I think that any of those beings that you can caution in terms of alcohol abuse is a caution that’s worthwhile because if you see the source and you see the root and you see what this is all about it can be very helpful. You cannot do damage on the physical plane without that having a correlating damage at every level of what is your process and your life. There’s something else as well, this area of the bodygraph is the most advanced area of the bodygraph. Because it’s essential for the Monopole to hold together the illusion of this reality, it also has to hold together the illusion of the next potential reality, and the next. It holds together the memory of all the previous potential realities, and as such is enormously sophisticated in its potential. In other words, the potential inherent in the G Center is to lay the foundation of correctness for what will be the mutation of

the new Raves (new human beings), while at the same time being able to provide that for humanity. The G Center is the infrastructure of life. When you are looking at the G you are looking at something that is so deeply, deeply a part of everything, of everything. There isn’t anywhere you can go in the Mandala, there isn’t anywhere that you can go in the bodygraph, that you don’t find this direct line and relationship to one of the gates of the G Center. This is the core of what it is to create life. It’s right here holding it all together. Awareness and wellbeing is pedaled in many different ways in the world and there is so much misunderstanding that permeates the world that we live in. It is, after all, a homogenized Not-Self world. It’s so obvious that it’s the Monopole that runs the show, and that the Monopole has a relationship with the Design Crystal, and a very secondary relationship to the Personality Crystal. It’s the Vehicle’s life and it’s the Vehicle’s movement through life. If the Vehicle is healthy, there is a chance that the Personality will be healthy. And if the Vehicle is correct, there is a chance that the Personality can surrender to the pleasure of being the Passenger of that correctness. But all of that begins with one thing and one thing only. It begins with releasing the mental trip that the mind has control over all of this, that it has control over what the Monopole does. It’s a joke. It’s a joke to think that the Passenger, that the Personality Crystal has any way of telling the Monopole what to do. It does not. It’s not in charge. It has nothing to do with it. It’s the body that is in charge, this is what we live in, it’s what we ride in. It’s a rental; it’s leased. That’s all there is to it. And only when you get to the point that you can begin to accept that your mind no longer makes decisions for you. And as long as your mind is making your decisions, you’re still Not-Self and you’re still lost in Not-Self and you’re not going to get to live out the potential that is there for you. It begins with the Vehicle. It begins with understanding that we have a Design consciousness that is very profound, and that its whole focus is about maintaining the correctness of this Vehicle. That’s its job, and not only maintaining its correctness but also maintaining its unique differentiation and its potential to display in this life the perfection of what it is to be it, and nothing else. The Authority of the vehicle has been overlooked endlessly by a mind absorbed with all kinds of nonsense and in living this way you don’t even get to the point of even allowing the Monopole the opportunity to take us to our correctness and you become so deeply lost in the conditioning. Strategy and Authority is the basis of Design. Everything is here. Everything, truly, and that’s the point. And it takes time. People are so deeply, deeply, deeply conditioned, and living in a deeply, deeply, deeply conditioned world where everybody uses their mind, all the time, to make decisions. This is the only way to transform your life. This is the only way to begin the process of awakening; there is no other way. The moment you turn over your life to your Design Consciousness and its natural responsibility to

guide the Vehicle there is an immediate resonance with the Monopole. They work together, Driver and Vehicle. When the Design Crystal and the Magnetic Monopole are working together, when there then the Passenger has a chance, a chance to see that this is an incredible life, a beautiful life.
