& manpower to ensured that excavation operation are carried out safe manner .This procedure will help to ensured a safe & healthy work environment at site at all time. 2. Scope:

5. Machineries Used:

Excavation work will be undertaken by Earth Excavator, JCB & Dumpers. (Manually where & when require).

Ground conditions underground structures or water courses / Table; and The location of existing services.

     8. Procedure: a) Survey Work : 1.Pre level that is EGL needs to be finalized and EGL level Sheet nedds to signed by  C/W. 2. Excavation Layout needs to finalized and checked by C/W.

Work will be started from the Phase-1 that is from grid

proceeds towards the grid 26 as per drawing. But before excavation of Phase 2 we required to keep in mind that phase 2 is pile zone. Before excavation of this zone the piling work and the maturity time needs to over. Required slope to be maintained for excavation & the excavated areas will be protected by hard barricading for safety purpose & temporary shoring (Barricading) to retain the slide earth (as per below fig.). After major excavation by Excavator, dressing will be done manually. At the time of excavation all levels and excavation areas will be checked by our Engineer and surveyor as per drawing jointly with C/W.

The excavated top soil is sold to the nursery as per green building norms. Balance earth we shall stock as per instruction of the owner. 10. Dewatering:

All the water that may accumulate in excavations during the progress of work from rains, subsoil water, springs or any other cause shall be pumped-out completely by submergible or dewatering pump towards the outside drain or sump. The basement raft shall be kept dry during excavation and before the commencement of Brick flat soling and PCC.

11. Health Safety & Environment: Care shall be taken not to dump the excavated material near the excavation area and follow the safety norms. Barricading shall be provided around excavated area and signal light shall be provided at night hours. Excavated material shall not be dumped alongside the pit excavated. Excavated earth shall be disposed - off to designated locations as mentioned in contract. Some quantity of excavated earth shall be retained for backfilling if specified so.

Excavation pit shall be kept free from water by suitable means of dewatering as and when required. In case of mechanized excavator with excavators, work shall be continued till about 150mm above final level. Leveling and dressing shall be done manually with light compaction. Educate the workmen through pep-talk meeting. All persons engaged in job shall wear PPE and the equipment’s deployed will be checked by HSE Officer B. Equipment/ Machineries Safety:-

All equipment should be properly maintained and equipped with manufacturer-recommended safety devices. Disabling or removing safety devices is dangerous and should be avoided. All unsafe or inoperable equipment should be marked as such to prevent further use of the equipment. All workers should be trained and tested by the manager or superintendent before operating any equipment. Knowledge of the hazards associated with specific equipment is the first line of defence against injury.
