GSM Tester An equipment to measure the GSM of  paper / paperboard. A GSM kit consists of : - Digital Balance (10 mg resolution) - Bullion weight (for Calibration) - SS Template (10 x 10 cm) - Paper Cutter Knife Optional : Precision Cutter (Round) Windshield (Acrylic Box)

Caliper Thickness Gauge Measures the thickness of Paper, Plastic  Film, Laminates, etc very accurately. The instrument uses a Dead Weight on  the top to maintain a constant  measuring / contact pressure.

COBB Tester Measures the affinity of paper towards  water or the ability of paper to absorb  water. COBB is a very import property of  paper.

Hot Air Oven An equipment to measure the moisture  content of Paper / Paper Board /  Corrugated Board / Paper Tubes / or  any other product. With Digital Temperature Control.

Package Drop Tester This equipment helps us understand the  handling worthiness of our packaging /  product. How will our packaging protect our  product when subjected to mis-handling  and accidental drops.

Stiffness Tester This equipment is used to measure the  “stiffness” or “resistance to bending” by  the TABER method.

Creasing & Stiffness Tester This equipment is used to measure : 1)

Creasing Resistance of formed  Cartons.

2) Board “stiffness” or “resistance to  bending” by the TABER method.

Poor Crease Resistance will lead to  run-ability issues on Automatic Packing  Lines.  Very critical for High-Speed Lines.

Gloss Meter This equipment to measure the Gloss  value (in Gu units) or lustre of any  substrate in sheet form. This is generally used for testing  Paperboards used in printed cartons. 

Scuff Tester (PATRA Type) This equipment is used to check the  print quality by checking its resistance  to rubbing / scuffing / abrasion. This is a Rotary Rub Tester also known  as the PATRA Rub Tester. Primarily used for Surface Printed  Duplex Carton / Board.

Ink Rub Tester (Sutherland Type) This equipment is used to check the  print quality by checking its resistance  to rubbing / scuffing / abrasion. This is a Linear Rub Tester also known  as the Sutherland Rub Tester. A very versatile, easy-to-use and  practical equipment for Surface Printed  Paper, Film, Foil, Duplex Carton /  Board.

Mini Carton Compression Tester (Top Load Tester) This equipment is used to check the Top  Load Strength of printed cartons or  small boxes. A Higher Top Load signifies a rigid  carton which will look appealing on the  shelf of a retail store.

Laboratory Heat Sealer This is an equipment to prepare  lab  samples of heat sealed pouches /  sachets under controlled Pressure,  Temperature and Dwell Time. Confirm whether your chose Temp +  Pressure + Time settings will well with  your laminate supply before putting it in  production and realising lates that the  pouches produced are no good. So whether it’s a new pouch design, new  laminate,  new supplier and just raw  material testing, you can create finished  samples quickly and that too within the  comforts of your own laboratory.

Tensile Strength Tester A General Purpose Equipment which  can perform : - Laminate Peel Test (Peel Bond) - Seal Strength Test - Tensile Breaking Load - Elongation Test - Etc.

Coefficient of Friction Tester Measures Coefficient of Static and  Dynamic Friction of Paper or Plastic  Films with self or other substrates.

Pouch Burst Tester Measures the amount of internal  pressure  a pouch or blister pack or  sealed cup can withstand before  rupturing / bursting open from the  seals.

Pouch Compression Tester This equipment tests the Seal Integrity of  Liquid / Gas Filled - Pouches / Sachets by  measuring the resistance to rupture due to  external compressive forces. When the package is compressed between  2 platens, the external force pressurises  the contents of the package which puts  stress on the seals. The max force the package can withstand  before rupturing is recorded. Types of test : 1) Dynamic Compression : Machine will  press the pouch upto rupture or preset  load value. 2) Static Compression : Machine will  press the pouch upto preset load value  and hold the force upto preset time  value and then release the pressure.

Oxygen Analyser Many Food packages specifically of fried  or oily foods are flushed with Nitrogen  Gas to displace Oxygen. This enhances  the shelf life of the product to a great  extent. But many times the nitrogen flushing is  unable to properly displace the air  inside the pouch and hence Oxygen  stays inside the pouch in more than  desired quantities. This equipment helps in measuring the  quantity of residual O2 concentration in  Nitrogen Flushed (MAP) packages.

Tube Burst / Leak Tester This equipment enables us to perform : • Tube Leak Test.  Compressed air is injected inside the  tube @ 0.2 bar and the tube is held  under water for 30 seconds. If there is a  leak, air bubbles will emerge from the  seals.  •) Tube Burst Test. Filled or Empty tube is pressurized  internally upto the point of rupture and  max pressure recorded. The tube is then  analysed for the rupture pressure and  rupture location to identify the weakest  point of the tube.

Torque Tester (Caps / Closures) An equipment to test the amount of  force required to close a cap on a  bottle / jar (Application Torque) and the  amount of force required to open the  cap (Removal Torque) Poor / Low Opening Torque can lead to  product leakage or contamination. High Opening Torque can lead to user  discomfort in dispensing / consuming  the product. Application Torque is critical in  Permeation Studies in Pharmaceutical  Packaging.

Bottle / Jar Compression Tester Measures the amount of external TopLoad a plastic bottle / jar can withstand  before buckling or collapsing.

Color Analyser (RGB / HSL) Measures the color of Plastic  Components, Bottles, etc and reports  the result in RGB or HSL values. Now you can quickly catch color / shade   variations in your products. Works on a wide variety of materials  and surfaces.

Bottle Wall Thickness Gauge A quick, easy and non-destructive  method to measure the wall thickness of  Plastic / Glass Bottles and Jars. Uses advanced Ultrasonic s for  measurements.

Leakage Tester The Vacuum Leakage Tester can be used  to check your package for leakages /  pinholes which can lead to product  contamination or poor shelf life of the  product.

BOPP Tape Shear Tester This equipment measures the quality of  tape with reference to its resistance to  shear / slip off.

Ball Tack Tester Measures the Tackiness of PSA  adhesives on Tapes and Labels using the  Roll Ball method.

Pinhole Tester This is a light box with a hood. Enables the user to check aluminum foil  for pinholes without turning off the light  in the room.
