User Guide

Introduction This utility can be used to extract the information required for General Ledger reconciliation and Report related analysis.

Overview This utility is helpful to extract the information from below T24 tables            

EB.SYSTEM.SUMMARY & EB.JOURNAL.SUMMARY RE.CRF.REPORT_NAME (RE.CRF Flat file) STMT.ENTRY RE.CONSOL.SPEC.ENTRY CATEG.ENTRY POS.MVMT.HIST CONSOLIDATE.ASST.LIAB(CAL) CONSOLIDATE.PRFT.LOSS(CPL) POSITION ACCOUNT EB.CONTRACT.BALANCES RE.STAT.LINE.BAL

Points to note: 1. Execution of this utility should be from the problematic company 2. The utility can be run in parallel sessions by different users and with various options when multiple extracts are required

How to Use Step 1 The routine RE.EXTRACT.BASIC.INFO should be FTP to a local BP directly (eg: PACS.BP) for compilation as below TAFC jsh CREATE-FILE PACS.BP TYPE=UD >BASIC –I../T24_BP PACS.BP RE.EXTRACT.BASIC.INFO >CATALOG PACS.BP RE.EXTRACT.BASIC.INFO

TAFJ The source code should be FTP to BASIC sources directory for compilation as below >tCompile RE.EXTRACT.BASIC.INFO

Step 2 A record should be created in PGM.FILE

Step 3 Execute the utility from T24 application prompt

Step 4 Relevant option can be chosen from the Menu

Step 5 Submenu for the entry files selection. If Option 3,4,5 was chosen, the below submenu will be displayed Corresponding date or savedlist data has to be feed in for the extraction.

To extract the information for the Entry ID’s already available in the saved list, the option 5 should be selected.

Points to note

1. The Account and EB.CONTRACT.BALANCES extraction is based on the &SAVEDLISTS& file input. 2. To extract these records, the savedlists should be created with the required CONSOL.KEYS.

Step 6 Once extraction complete, the file name will be displayed. Please FTP the file from PACS.BP and send to Temenos through the RTC ticket.

Conclusion The utility will only extract the records from the corresponding T24 tables, no update or processing will be done to the data
