Problem

ANALYSIS

The city of Dasmarinas is aiming to provide its developing community a Sports & Recreation Complex that will cater local and national sporting and recreational events especially the city’s annual Paru-Paro festival. It is for the physical and social development of the citizens as well as for the economic development of the city and more importantly, to enhance the visibility and scope of athletics program in the community. The main challenge for the Community Sports & Recreational Complex is to be able to encourage the community to participate in the campaign for the physical and social development and for the complex to accommodate variety of events; local and national, not only limited to local and regional sporting events but also national events like PalarongPambansa. Moreover it should also be able to cater music and entertainment events and other local programs such as the Paru-Paro Festival. Meaning to say that proper space articulation and functional zoning is needed to effectively plan the complex in the 200x500 m (10 hectares) lot located along E. Aguinaldo highway near Walter Mart and Antlers Resort & Club.
