The Basic Hopper – MACD Line crosses over the 0-line, and you enter the trade. Limit to the first three hours of the active trading session. The Advanced Hopper – MACD Line, Zero-Line, histogram-lines, price-lines all telling the trader what to do.  We don’t have to take every Hopper that happens. Recognize what makes one setup better than another.  We don’t have to pass up a trade if the MACD Line misses the mark. We give it a little flex. MACD Line crosses over 0-line, gets close to 0-line, hangs around 0-line... Ask a few questions and plan your trade according to your answers.  Price gives us support/resistance lines. Oldest trick of the trade.  The Secret Weapon! Don’t avoid the Lamb Market! The no-brainer entry order platform, good for double profit targets. (15 minute chart) When the Hopper Happens, check these conditions before you are ready to enter the trade. How to filter a trade: 1. Support/Resistance lines, levels, channels. Keep it simple. Do not make this complicated. ~ Is price moving in a range? ~ Is price moving above/below the last three bars? ~ Is price in a Lamb Market or is it on the move? 2. Histogram Bars: If more than 5 bars have passed when you’re ready to enter the trade, make sure momentum is building. ~ Are you ready to take the trade in 5 bars or less? ~ If bars are getting taller, the move is on! Buy/sell into the histogram strength. ~ If the bars are shrinking back towards 0, the move is off! 3. If it has been more than 5 bars, then make sure you are buying/selling into increasing bars. If the bars are fading then wait. Entry orders Get the trade right when you want it, even if you aren’t looking. Divergence When price is climbing and histogram diverging down to the zero line, be ready. One or the other is going to change its direction. Move to BE over 15 This is subjective. Sometimes is saves loss, sometimes it prevents a winner. ~How good are you at getting your loss back? Not very good? Use the move to break-even. ~Can you think clearly after a loss? Skip the move to BE and be diligent to trade the next one or two setups with a vengeance; willing to put in more time on the next 1 to 2 trades. Be diligent to close the trade when you’re wrong, and get the next one to make it right.

When to shut it down ~Did the MACD Line go back over the 0-line? Close the trade (win or lose) or move to breakeven. ~Did the market go sideways into a Lamb Market? Close the trade and setup entry orders. ~Do you have to wait for your stop-loss to be hit at -20? No. But you can if you want. Risk:Reward Ratios – Don’t be fooled  Stop-loss is -20, profit target is +15. Bullies tell me my R:R is negative. They are stupid.  MACD Line moved, and we closed the trade early, win or lose. What was the R:R?  Market moves in my direction, and I move to break-even. What is the R:R now?  I take a loss. But I have The Secret Weapon on the next lamb market pulling down +35 pips, putting back my lost -20 pips, and padding my account with an extra +15 toward the next loss. What’s my Risk:Reward really? YOU are the trader Do not let notions or theories about R:R push you around. You push the button, and when you lose 20 pips, you have to make it back. That’s what traders do.
