Alcoflood® 254S Polymer for water shut-off Chemical Nature

Alcoflood 254S is a low molecular weight polyacrylamide polymer. It dissolves readily in fresh water and brines, facilitating gelant preparation and forms strong, temperature tolerant gels when cross-linked.

Application

Alcoflood 254S can be used to formulate gels with suitable metal-ions or organic cross-linking agents.

Storage & Shelf Life

The shelf life of the product is min. 48 months from date of manufacturing if it is stored in its sealed original packaging below 35 °C in a dry place.
