HEAD: Start to crochet with Brown color yarn. Crochet with loop stitches (watch video below how to do it) R1: 6 sc in MR R2: 6 inc (12) R3: (1 sc, inc) х 6  (18) R4: (2 sc, inc) х 6  (24) R5: (3 sc, inc) х 6  (30) R6: (4 sc, inc) х 6  (36) R7: 36 sc R8: (5 sc, inc) х 6  (42) R9: 42 sc Change yarn to Main color. Crochet sc. R10: (6 sc, inc) х 6  (48) R11: 48 sc R12: (7 sc, inc) х 6  (54)

R13: (8 sc, inc) х 6  (60) R14-23 (10 rounds): 60 sc R24: (8 sc, dec) х 6  (54) R25: (7 sc, dec) х 6  (48) R26: (6 sc, dec) х 6  (42) R27: (5 sc, dec) х 6  (36) R28: (4 sc, dec) х 6  (30) R29: (3 sc, dec) х 6  (24) Stuff tight. Cut the yarn and hide yarn tail inside the detail. Video: https://youtu.be/-DMVEjuHzbI

MUZZLE: Work with main color yarn. Stuff when sewing. R1: 6 sc in MR R2: 6 inc (12) R3: (1 sc, inc) х 6  (18) R4: (2 sc, inc) х 6  (24) R5-8: 24 sc Cut the yarn leaving a long tail for assembly.

EARS: Work with main color yarn. Crochet 2 details. Don't stuff. R1: 6 sc in MR R2: 6 inc (12) R3: 12 sc R4: (1 sc, inc) х 6  (18) R5-10: 18 sc R11: (1 sc, dec) х 6  (12) R12: 12 sc Fold edges together and single crochet them.

LEGS + BODY: First you need to decide what kind of sweater you want for alpaca boy. If you are going to knit it, than crochet body with one color. If you can not knit, than you should make yarn color change in the upper part of the body as for alpaca girl: Change yarn color in R50. Crochet R51 BLO. Finish sweater at R65 and continue to crochet neck with main color yarn from R66.  Crochet first leg R1: 6 sc in MR R2: 6 inc (12) R3: (3 sc, inc) х 3  (15) R4-34 (31 rounds): 15 sc Cut the yarn. Stuff. Crochet second leg the same way only don't cut the yarn and join legs R35: ch 9, join first leg, place a marker. That will be 1st stitch now, crochet 15 sc on the first leg, then 9 sc on the chain, 15 sc on the second leg and 9 sc on the other side of the chain. You should get 48 sc totally. R36-55 (20 rounds): 48 sc R56: (6 sc, dec) х 6  (42) R57-58: 42 sc R59: (5 sc, dec) х 6  (36) R60-61: 36 sc R62: (4 sc, dec) х 6  (30) R63-64: 30 sc R65: (3 sc, dec) х 6  (24) R66-75: 24 sc Cut the yarn leaving a long tail for assembly. Stuff the body tight. In R51 crocheted BLO, crochet sweater bottom using remaining front loops. Join yarn to the first st and crochet: R1-3: ch 1, 48 sc, sl st to join in the end

ARMS: It depends what kind of sweater you are planning to make. If you are planning to knit sweater, then crochet arms with Main color yarn only: R1: 5 sc in MR R2: 5 inc (10) R3-36: 10 sc Stuff the arms to R31. If you have changed the color of the upper part of the body, then you'll have to make same color change in the arms. Change color in R8 and crochet arms the following way: R1: 6 sc in MR R2: 6 inc (12) R3-36: 12 sc Stuff the arms to R31. Fold edges together and single crochet them. Cut the yarn leaving a long tail for assembly.

THERE IS A SOLE IN HANDMADE THINGS!

ASSEMBLY: Pin the head to the body. Sew around: insert the needle under both loops of sc of the last round of the neck, and then under sc of the last round of the head. When there is a small hole left, stuff the area between the head and the neck with fiber and then sew to the end.

Pin the muzzle in the center of the bottom of the head.

Sew the muzzle around. When there is a small hole left, stuff the area between head and muzzle with fiber tight, and continue sewing to the end. Fasten yarn and hide its tail inside the detail.  Fold the ears in half before sewing them to the head. Make 1-2 st. Sew the ears on the sides of the head. Try to sew the ears so that they look up.

Determine the place for sewing the eyes with the help of pins. I have sewn the eyes between R19-20. Choose the distance between the eyes so that the muzzle is in the middle.   Tight the thread when sewing the eyes, so they drown a little in the head. Embroider nose, eye lashes with black sewing thread. Remember, the thicker is the thread, the rougher result you will get. That's why I advise to use sewing thread, not the yarn. Sew the arms on the sides of the body. That's about at the place where we start to crochet the neck.

KNITTED SWEATER: ABREVIATIONS K – knit stitch P – purl stitch YO – yarn over sl1k – slip 1 knitwise st st – stockinette stitch Knit the sample 10 rows x 10 stitches. Measure the sample. I've got 4 cm wide and 3 cm in length. Further measure neck girth of the toy. I have 13 cm Desired length of the collar is 5 cm. First we need to calculate required quantity of stitches to be casted on. For this we multiply 10 st of the sample by 13 cm of neck girth and devide the result by 4 cm of the sample width. I've got 32.5 and I have rounded the result to 34 st. Next we need to find out the quantity of the rows for the collar. For this we multiply 10 rows of the sample by 5 cm of the desired collar length and devide the result by 3 cm of the sample length. I've got 16,7 and I've rounded to 18 rows. Cast on 34 st + 2 edge st. Knit Ribbing 1:1 (knit 1, purl 1) 18 rows. Now we'll make raglan pattern. We have 34 st in total. Subrtact 4 raglan st (34-4=30 st). Then we take 3 st for each sleeve: 30-6=24 st. Remaining 24 st devide in half for front and back of the sweater. We've got 12 st for each part. In order the sweater could be dressed over the head of the toy, we'll need to knit it open first. That's why devide back part in half 12 st /2 = 6 st + 2 edge st. The sweater will be enlarged by yarn overs (YO) R1 (right side): sl1k, K6, YO, P1 (raglan st), YO, K3, YO, P1, YO, K12, YO, P1, YO, K3, YO, P1, YO, K6, always purl last. As you see, we have YO before and after each raglan st (Purl). We knit YO only in Right side rows. R2: (wrong side): Purl all knit st of the previous row, 4 purl (raglan) st – Knit. In this way, we alternate right and wrong side rows till R16 or till the sweater converges in the armpits area. If you will be knitting sleeves on the sock knitting needles, then you'll have to take off sleeve st on yarn for ex, and continue to knit bottom of the sweater around using sock knitting needles.  If you will be using cable needles, then you should take off front and back st on the yarn. Knit sleeves first and then front and back of the sweater. However in this case you'll need to sew the sleeves and the back of the sweater.  Sleeves: knit 20 row st st and 5 rows Ribbing in the end. The front and the back parts: knit about 10 rows st st and 5 rows Ribbing in the end. Single crochet the back cut. Make a loop for the button on one side of the back and sew button on the other side of the back part.

SKIRT: In R51 crocheted BLO, single crochet 2-3 more rows using remaining front loops. Take a piece of fabric 8х50 cm/3x19 in. Bend and stitch bottom of the fabric. Make small stitches on the top of the skirt. Pull the thread to the length of the bottom of crochet shirt on the body. Sew edges together as shown on the picture. Then pin our skirt around the body under the bottom of the shirt and sew it with small stitches using sewing thread in the tone of the shirt.

SNOOD SCARF: I knitted snood with 2 yarn strands in order to get it more volume. Cast on 6 st + 2 edge st and knit garter stitch till desired length. Sew edges together then.

BOW: For the bow we take a small rectangle of fabric. Fold it in half. Sew sides. You should sew bottom part so that there is a small hole left in order to turn it out. Iron well. Wrap around the bow with yarn in the middle several times and sew it to the toy.

PURSE: Crochet 2 circles: R1: 12 dc in MR R2: 12 dc inc (24) Fold two circles together and crochet them together with sl st using back loops. Don't crochet together last 6 st. Don't cut the yarn. Chain 60 with the same yarn for the handle. You can chain your own quantity depending on your toy's size. Decorate the purse with the button.

WELL, MY FRIEND, OUR LITTLE ADVENTURE HAS COME TO THE END. I HOPE YOU ARE HAPPY WITH THE RESULT! AND YOU WILL COME BACK TO GET NEW EMOTIONS.
