Brainwave Entrainment Toolkit Tutorial by Rob Maggs Congratulations on purchasing the Brain Entrainment Toolkit. This tutorial will teach you everything you need to know about creating your own powerful meditation tones. This tutorial will teach you how to make a 7.5 HZ tone for inducing a Step 1 Click on the frequencies button and scroll down until you find 7.50 HZ a preset for inter-awareness of self and purpose. This preset is perfect for creative visualization and will stimulate your creative abilities. You can use it for art, music and invention.

Step 2 Click on the “Create tone” button and enter a frequency of 200 (this is the frequency for the carrier wave) try experimenting with different frequencies to see what works best for you. However in the meantime just stick with 200HZ. On the next page choose a volume for white noise to be mixed with your tone,in this example I will choose 80. Next enter a volume for your carrier wave Try 80 again. On the next page you will be prompted for the tone duration choose 1 to set a fixed duration. On the next page enter “1” to include stereo white noise. On the next page you will be prompted for the left audio frequency, enter 207.5. On the next page enter the frequency for the right audio frequency, enter 200. On the next screen enter the duration in seconds. If you intend to use your tone in the Brain Entrainment Toolkit then a short duration of 10 seconds can be used as the software will seamlessly loop the tone. As the duration is set in seconds, if you intended to make a twenty minute track you would need to multiply 20 by 60 seconds which would equal 1200 seconds.

On the last page you will be given the option to copy the settings you have created to your computer clipboard.

Click this button and move on to the next step.

Select “Tone Gen” to open the Binaural Beat creation tool and on the file menu click “Edit settings” .This will open the default settings for tone generation.

Delete the contents of this file and select paste from the edit menu. These are your new settings copied from the clipboard.

Now select “Save” from the file menu. As you can see, the settings are quite self explanatory and if you prefer you can create your tones by directly modifying this file. The advantage of doing so is that you can make your tones change over time. For example look at the table below: Freqlstart FreqRstart 204.5, 200, 205.5, 200, 207.5, 200,

Duration 300 300 300

This example would play a 4.5 HZ binaural beat for 5 minutes and then would “ramp up” to 5.5HZ for a further 5 minutes and then finally finish with 5 minutes at 7.5 HZ. You would benefit from experimenting from this.

Now select reload settings from the File menu, this will overwrite the default settings with the file you created.

Lastly select “Export Wav file” and choose a location on your computer to save your creation to. You can now load your file into the Brainwave entrainment toolkit.
