Scale Arpeggios
Major 7th and Minor 7th Scale Arpeggios Now that we have learned arpeggios and scales all over the guitar fretboard, it is time to learn what we will call “Major 7th and Minor 7th Scale Arpeggios”. In the key of “C”, it applies to Cmaj7 and Am7 descending chord arpeggios with added notes.
Added Intervals: • For Cmaj7 we will add: major 2nd and major 6th; • For Am7 we will add: major 2nd and perfect 4th; For each fretboard zone we will have a “guide idea” starting from the highest note and ending in the lowest note. All the ideas presented below were taken from George Benson solos and organized in a didactic way. See below:
