What is Hypochlorous acid? Hypochlorous acid is a free chlorine molecule with the chemical structure HOCl. It is a slightly acidic to neutral pH, non-alcohol water-based solution. It is 80 times more powerful sanitizer than chlorine bleach (sodium hypochlorite).
