They are more appropriate for logos. Do not choose too fancy typefaces, because your prospect buyers will find it hard to read your title and author name. But why should you do such thing? An ISBN number can cost hundreds of Dollars, and it is an entirely outdated trend. In addition to this, printing books cost tons of money, and it is mostly improbable that you will sell half of your printed copies unless you already are an established author or you have thousands of dollars spare to spend on traditional advertising. Verifying your Publishing Rights (Required): “According to U.S. law, creative writing is copyright-protected as soon as you write it down. When you use this service, you have a restriction on promoting your book only through Amazon. No other online services, not even your website. That might seem unfair, but it is not, as Amazon owns more than the 80% of the entire bookselling market.

Amazon Scout Through this service, you can get a publishing contract with Amazon. When having an agreement with Amazon, you get 50% commission on your sales, and you get promoted by Amazon, which should be something good. I have not used it, and I don’t know personally someone who has done so. Thus I cannot give any advice about it. Online Bookstores other than Amazon Here there is a wealth of online bookstores. My personal experience says that you cannot excel at everything and to promote your books properly you need focus and determination. So, if you don’t have 24 hours per day, or at least a couple of Virtual Assistants, to organizing, controlling and taking care of all those sites, it is better to stick to just a few of them, or even just on Amazon.com. After all, you make more sales the higher you are on the ranking pages, and it is impossible to be on top of every site if you promote all of them equally. Here are the sites. What to do if you do not achieve your book to be a #1 Amazon bestseller: It doesn’t matter. You may try again, after 90 days, when KDP Select allows you to promote your book for free once again. I know a great Author, Marc Reklaw, who’s book has been an international #1 Amazon Bestseller, and he has been translated to Korean, and just recently he had a contract with one of the greatest Japanese publishing houses!!! But you know what? Even though he tried most of the things mentioned here, he managed to be a Bestseller only on the third try. All the ideas and tools provided here are valuable, and they work. But I cannot promise you success from the first time. I know some people who have achieved it instantly, without the half of the promotion ideas that you now know. Why does this happen? No one knows.
