1.Creation of Maintenance Plant Maintenance plant is the organization structure for both Plant maintenance and Customer Service module.
2.Assignment of Plant with Maintenance Planning Plant In this step, we assign the maintenance plant to the manufacturing plant. Service related to plant maintenance and Customer service module will be performed under Maintenance plant.
3.Activation of Warranty Categories There are two types of warranty categories. I = Vendor warranty and O= Customer Guarantee. Inboundwarranties that you (as a system user and warrantee) are issued by an external guarantor (for example, vendor, manufacturer) Outboundwarranties that you issue to your customer (as warrantee) Both the categories are assigned to Classification system.
4.Activation of Warranty in Notification and Service order Customer warranty “O” Warranty category is activated for both Notification and Service order. With below activation, during creation of notification and service order, a pop up will come whether the equipment is under warranty or not. This message will help the user to decide how to go ahead with Customer notification.
5.Defined Technical Objects
In LTKM, we have designed four objects. ZE01 - Rubber equipment ZE02 - Extruder Equipment The above two objects should be assigned in the respective equipment master. For ex: Rubber mixer equipment master “ZE01” should be entered.
ZFD1 – Domestic Location ZFE1 – Export Location The above two objects should be assigned to respective Customer functional location. For the customers in India, “ZFD1” should be assigned in the Object type field while creating the functional location master. The usage of object types is purely for reporting purpose.
6.Define Planner Group Depending on the size and structure of your company, a maintenance planning group may be an individual department (for central work preparation), a group of skilled craftsmen or a workshop. Every piece of equipment and functional location can be allocated to a maintenance planning group. Maintenance planning groups can also be used for evaluation purposes.
7.View Profiles for Equipment Master Equipment master screen layout is configured according to client needs.
8.View Profile for Functional Location Functional location master screen layout had been designed according to client requirement
9.Creation of Structural Indicator for Customer During creation of Functional locations master, String indicator determines the naming convention of the functional location master. For LTKM, the string indicator had been designed in such way that the first 6 digit will accommodate Customer code, next 5 letter stands for customer description and the last 5 letter stands for State code and running serial number.
10.
Maintain Equipment Category
11. Technical Object default category for Transaction start The Equipment & Functional master screen is shared by both plant maintenance and customer service module. Hence for the creation of Equipment and functional location master for Customer, we have allocated the Transaction code IE08 & IL08 by assigning the object category “S-Customer”
12.
Serial number profile for Equipment
Serial number profile had been created keeping in mind with the logic of number plate which is being tagged along with the Machine. Serial number profile is tagged in all the Machine material master. During delivery process, serial number should be entered for all the Finished goods. Upon saving the delivery, equipment master will be created automatically with the code same as serial number entered in delivery.
