Oil supply system for hydrostatic sliding shoe bearing arrangement

Components:

Among other things, each oil supply system consists of: • the oil tank with control monitors, • the circulation circuit with low pressure pump, double change-over filter, heat exchanger and oil heating, • the oil storage system with the hydraulic accumulators, the high pressure pump and the respective control monitors,

• the high pressure pumps and the oil flow dividers for supplying lubricating oil to the bearing shoes, • the low pressure pump for supplying lubricating oil to the axial guide.

The oil supply systems will be edits in a separate presentation.

Hydrostatic sliding shoe bearing arrangement with 4 bearing shoes Setting and adjustment All monitoring devices have to be set to the correct switching values.

Slave shoe (4.2): • Apply 20 bar pressure to the operating cylinder (4.2.1) of the slave shoe. • Screw the lock nut (4.2.4) of the pressurized operating cylinder down to the support and secure with the anti-turning device (4.2.5). • Relieve the pressure and dismount the hydraulic hand pump. • Mount the connecting piping after all slave shoes have been set. • Switch on the oil supply systems and rotate the machine with the auxiliary drive. • Oil is supplied to the bearing shoes and a hydrostatic lubrication gap forms between the bearing shoes and the slide rings. •The bearing shoes of the slave shoes are lifted.

•A gap “S“ forms between the lock nuts (4.2.4) and the operating cylinders (4.2.1).
