Introduction Beauty as defined by an app “Merriam Webster Dictionary”, is the qualities of a person or a thing that makes a person physically attractive. This definition suggests that beauty is the physical appearance of a person that is seen by others. While other people says that beauty depends on the beholder; it depends on the person who see the real sense of beauty of someone. Beautiful as defined by “Wikipedia”, is an adjective used to describe things as possessing beauty, may refer to a person, place, an object, etc. When we ask people what they think makes a lady or a woman beautiful, often times they would say having an attractive face or a beautiful body. But what does really make a woman beautiful? There a lot of things that makes a woman beautiful, it can be her smile, her eyes, her personality, or her heart. As what a lot of authors and people have quoted before, true beauty is the flame of self-confidence that shines from the inside out. Yes, maybe you can tell that a lady is beautiful through looking at her physical appearance, but the real beauty of a woman cannot be seen or even touched, they are felt with the heart. The most beautiful thing about a woman is not her face nor her body, it is her what’s inside her heart. The perception of beautiful lady is having a beautiful face, and a perfect body. It can attract many people if you have beautiful face. This can also boost confidence in facing other people. It is also one who is absolutely stunning and radiant. Many ladies want for being beautiful. But, this is not the real meaning of a beautiful lady. The real meaning of this is someone that isn't like the other girls or having a unique way. Sweet as can be and having a heart of gold. It's not about the clothing, the hair, and the make-up it's about how she brings herself in front of the others. Beauty as portrayed by media is having attractiveness in appearance because the appearance of a person in media it is the features of a person that the people see judge first, and can greatly affect the audience through having a good physical appearance. In Beyonce’s song entitled “Pretty Hurts”, it talks about in order to fit society’s version of beauty, you’re going to go through some pain whether it’s physical or mental. “Perfection is a disease of a nation”, this shows that the way we view perception is sickening. Everyone is beautiful no matter size, color, and gender. We should not be categorized into groups such as ugly, fat, skinny, thick, pretty and many more. Everyone is beautiful no matter what anyone says. This song is targeted towards those who look at themselves and see something wrong with what you’re looking at, they should realize how beautiful they really are and stop being so influenced by the media to look like a

fake barbie doll. “It is the soul that needs the surgery”, this line from the song implies that you don’t need to change your physical appearance in order to be loved and accepted, it is their soul that needs surgery. It is society’s standard of beauty that needs to be changed, not you. Internal beauty is often neglected by people because they tend to focus more on the physical appearance. Being physically beautiful not wrong, and so does being beautiful inside. A woman can wear anything she wants as long as it makes her happy and feel beautiful about herself. Being strong, confident, driven, independent and knowing that she is comfortable in her own skin is what makes a woman confidently beautiful. It is knowing and accepting what she is and who she is as a person. A women should be more confident with her self because we are all created from the image of God, and all of the creation of God is beautifully made. Think beautiful because you are beautiful just the way you are. To be beautiful means to be yourself. You don’t need to be accepted by everyone because not everyone matters. There will always be someone who will love and accept you for who you are and see the beauty in you regardless of what other people might say or think. Be who God created you to be, you don’t have to change just to please other people because you’re created to be real and not to be perfect. Also remember that our physical beauty will eventually fade as we grow older, but our heart will remain the same. Even if you grow old and your skin turns wrinkly, if you have a beautiful heart, it will remain pure and beautiful. This concept paper aims to describe the qualities of a beautiful woman as portrayed by media, this includes: (a) Confidence, if a person or their manner is confident, they feel sure about their own abilities, qualities, or ideas, she is a confident woman who is certain of her views. (b) Personality, the combination of characteristics or qualities that form an individual's distinctive character. (c) Physical Attractiveness, is the degree to which a person's physical features are considered aesthetically pleasing or beautiful. (d) Driven, a person relentlessly compelled by the need to accomplish a goal; very hardworking and ambitious. These qualities are just some of the factors that makes or describes a beautiful woman.

Purpose of the Concept Paper The purpose of this concept paper is to describe the qualities that makes a woman beautiful. This paper aims to mold and shape the perspective of the people towards a beautiful woman. It also seeks to raise awareness to the fact that beauty is not only seen in the physical appearance of a woman but also in her personality, drivenness, and confidence. We would also like to know the other qualities of a beautiful woman and describe what beauty is as portrayed by media. As we all know, people have different standards and judgments on the real meaning of beauty. The purpose of this concept paper is to make other people understand that you don’t have to change your self so other people would accept you, you just have to be confident and be true to yourself.

Significance of the Concept Paper This paper seeks to describe how the media portrays a beautiful woman and how it affects the people’s perspective of a beautiful woman. This paper will be beneficial to the following: Society. This paper will help change other people’s view and opinion about a woman’s beauty. This will help them understand that physical appearance is not the basis of describing a beautiful woman. It will also make them realize that they should judge a person based only on its appearance. Women. This paper will help boost women’s confidence and it will make them more comfortable with their own skin. This will help them realize that they are beautiful in their own unique way and that they don’t have to change who they are just to please others.
