TFA Body Atlas: The Human Design The film Body Atlas: The Human Design talked about the human body and how it is made up of systems that are interdependent. The film showed both the internal and external features of the human body and emphasized how these systems can’t function by themselves. It focused on how each system function inside us and its importance. It gave the viewers a better perspective on how the body works. It also showed how fertilization occurs and how a baby is formed starting from a fertilized egg to a fetus to an embryo. It explained how the complex process occurs in the human body thoroughly by supplying pictures. The union of sperm and egg creates life through fertilization and cell division. Reaction: This film allowed me to appreciate the human body even more. As simple as the human body seems, it is a far complex when viewed in the inside. It is amazing how our body systems rely on each other in order that we become the living beings that we are. Without the interdependence, perhaps we will all cease to exist. We will not function the way that we do now. What actually amazes me is how our existence is just due to the union of an egg and a sperm in ideal conditions. For me, aside from it being strange how something so small and so simple can create something so complex, it is difficult to comprehend how we all began from just 2 cells. The human body is too specialized that it is difficult to believe that this is all because of circumstance. There must be someone out there who designed all this. After watching the film, it made me appreciate my existence even more. I am made up of million cells constantly on the move. My heart beats so blood can feed my cells with Oxygen. My immune system constantly protect me from harm. My eyes and ears connect

to the brain which allow me to hear and see. I am the product of many different complex processes--- that is enough reason why I should love myself.
