Single installation file for all products/License driven configuration  Only 1 installer for all products  Product modes available to user are driven by the available license

Database  Installed with application: LocalDB; written at calculation time – Used for risk results only (as in ERRT in 6.7) – Max limit of 10GB file size  You can choose to point to other SQL Server instances – File > Preferences

 Where can you see the Database name? – In the workspace edit dialog

Study files  Standard Safeti study file is called a .psux – NOTE same file extension also used for Phast – Input data and consequence results are saved in .psux – Risk results are saved in the database – Both files are always kept in sync  “Export Workspace” feature used to enable users to share a complete study file with results

New features available in Phast 7.x  Whilst this a Safeti release, it includes all of the new features that have been available since Phast 7.0  We have mention a few already e.g. the grid  But too many to enumerate, See the relevant release notes for more information – NOTE Release notes can be accessed from within the program

Future development priorities  Goal is to ensure parity with 6.7 as quick as possible e.g. Add warehouse fires  Extend upgrade to pre 6.6 files  Improve speed and performance  Put all results into the database i.e. both consequence and risk  Work on a range of improvements/features
