Tinikling Dance Steps

TINIKLING DANCE STEPS

PART 1: BASIC JUMPING • 4 counts STANDBY • 12 counts SWAY (Female's hands are swaying side to side and Males hands are behind the back.) • 4 counts STANDBY • 3-count Step (3x) • Basic jump steps (16 counts)

PART 2: ROTATING JUMP • Rotating jump (5 counts across) • rotating jump ( 3 counts change position, 1 basic jump, 3 counts change position) • rotating jump (5 counts across) • rotating jump ( 3 counts change position, 1 basic jump, 3 counts change position) • WALTZ (8 counts)

PART 3: CRISS CROSS JUMP (16 counts) • right foot in 2x, left foot out forward on right side of bamboo. • right foot in 2x, left foot back out on left side of bamboo, 1 time. • WALTZ (8 counts) • 4 counts STANDBY • Criss Cross jump (Female 12 counts, Male 11 counts. Partners will be in the same side after this)

PART 4: BASIC JUMP (partners HHWJ) • basic jump - partners facing each other holding hands, 8 counts • basic jump - Female will twirl clockwise 8 counts male holds his hands and continues to jump 8 counts

PART 5: DIAMOND JUMP • SWAY 16 counts (Female stays in place, Male Sways back to original position) • Diamond Shape jump (16 counts)

PART 6: REPEAT BASIC WALTZ ( 8 counts) and BASIC JUMP (16 counts)

PART 7: REPEAT PART 2: ROTATING JUMP

PART 8: HUG JUMP • 8 counts SWAY Female moving next to the male, then 8 counts SWAYING together on the same side • 16 counts Hug Jump (Female cross hands on hips while Male hold her hands while jumping together. Female will only do 15 counts.)

PART 9: REPEAT Part 3: Criss Cross Jump • 4 counts STANDBY • Criss Cross jump 12 counts but start counting.

PART 10: END STEP • 10 counts SWAY (Female stays in place Male moves next to Female while SWAYING) • Partners hold each other's right hand Female slowly twirls (6 counts) ounce partners hold hands clappers stop clapping
