Valle de Mai Seychelles Coral Strand Hotel
One of the first places to visit in Seychelles for fun and entertainment is Valle de Mai.
The 48-acre Vallée de Mai earned UNESCO World Heritage status for its roughly 6,000 coco-de-mer trees.
Botanists and bird-lovers could spend hours exploring Vallée de Mai.
The Vallée de Mai is also home to the rare Black Parrot, of which there are three species in the Seychelles and one more subspecies in Madagascar.
Vallée de Mai is in the heart of Praslin and can be reached by bus or car from Baie Ste. Anne (the island's main port town located about 2 miles east).
You can visit every day from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Admission costs avout $26 per person, children younger than 12 for free. The money helps fund preservation efforts.
