SYSTEM OF MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT.

A. OBJECT. The object of Technical Requisition II is to define the pricing structure, price content, system of measurement, and prices to apply to measurements obtained from drawings in all Civil Works activities performed by the Subcontractor in accordance with the awarded Scope Of Work. This system shall be applied to Subcontracts established by Unit Prices, as well as increases or decreases of quantities for Lump Sum Subcontracts. B. UNIT PRICE CONTENT AND SYSTEM OF MEASUREMENT. 0.

GENERAL. Measurements shall always be taken from specifications, Approved for Construction standards and drawings, and/or “as built” drawings whenever possible. If the Contractor’s Site Manager deems it necessary to take measurements in the field, these measurements shall be accomplished jointly with the Subcontractor and the results shall be accepted as valid.

1.

DEMOLITIONS AND DISASSEMBLIES. 1.1.

Demolitions. This is defined as the demolition of supports, walls, structures, buildings, pavements, concrete slabs, foots, etc. Price includes all work required for the demolition, shop machinery, auxiliary requirements (scaffolding, etc.), cutting and removal of rebar from reinforced concrete, loading and transporting of debris to an authorized exterior dump site (including all operations involved with the removal of debris from elevated work), intermediate storage, dumping fees, safety requirements in accordance with applicable standards and specifications, irrigation requirements and, in general, all required materials and labor for the correct completion of the required unit. For material that may be reused in the project, the price also includes cleaning, storage, and transport of the material in the manner directed by and to a location designated by Site Manager. The Unit of measure shall be as is stated in the Schedule of Rates, measured on approved drawings, and taking the following additional points into consideration: Demolition of mass concrete elements: When the unit of measure is the cubic meter (m3) it refers to the volume of concrete in each foundation, slab, or mass concrete, as measured on approved drawings. Demolition of foundations, slabs, footings, and equipment supports: When the unit of measure is the cubic meter (m3) it refers to the volume of concrete as measured on approved drawings, assigning lean concrete the same width as the base or footing which it supports. Demolition of structural elements (Walls, columns, beams, elevated slabs, and elevated supports): When the unit of measure is the cubic meter (m3) it

refers to the volume of concrete in each structural element above the upper surface of the foundation, and is measured on approved drawings. Demolition of buildings: When the unit of measure is the cubic meter (m3) it is referring to the interior volume that each building encloses, as measured from the inside of the roof (interior) to the upper surface (interior) of the bottom floor or basement and measured on approved drawings. Regardless of the unit of measurement, the unit price includes the demolition of foundations and underground systems. 1.2.

Disassembly of Structures and Claddings. Price includes all work required for the disassembly, including shop machinery, auxiliary requirements (scaffolding, etc.), loading and transportation of debris to an authorized external dump site (including all operations involved with the removal of debris from elevated work), intermediate storage, dumping fees, safety requirements in accordance with applicable standards and specifications, irrigation requirements and, in general, all required materials and labor for the correct completion of the required unit. For material that may be reused in the project, the price also includes cleaning, storage, and transport of the material in the manner directed by and to a location designated by Site Manager. The Unit of measure shall be as established in the Schedule of Rates, measured on approved drawings.

2.

SITE PREPARATION. 2.1.

Grubbing and Clearing. The unit price includes the transport of machinery to and within the job site, positioning time for machinery, cleaning, ripping, excavation of the surface grade, intermediate storage, removal of the upper cover of the explanation to an authorized external dump area (including trees, stumps, plants, underbrush, fall wood, and all types of undesirable material) safety requirements and dumping fees. For earth that may be reused in the project, the price also includes cleaning, storage, and transport of the material to the location and in the manner specified by Contractor’s Site Manager. When required, the unit price also includes all timbering and shoring, and drainage of the terrain by whatever means is appropriate. Volume will be measured in its natural state as defined on reference drawings and topographic profiles. Any swelling, any excavation apart from those specified on applicable drawings, or any excavation for the removal of tree stumps and roots shall not be measured nor paid. The unit of measurement shall be in square meters (m2).

2.2.

General Excavation. General excavation is defined as the excavation, leveling, and removal of all material located above the finished grade by normal mechanical means.

Unit Price includes the transport of machinery to and within the job site, positioning time for machinery, ripping, excavating, leveling, slope refining, irrigation, compaction as per specifications, safety requirements, and intermediate storage within the work site in the location specified by the Contractor’s Site Manager. For earth that may be reused in the project, the price also includes cleaning, storage, and transport of the material to the location and in the manner specified by Contractor’s Site Manager. When required, the unit price also includes all timbering and shoring, and drainage of the terrain by whatever means is appropriate. Volume for excavation shall be measured in its natural state as is stated on approved reference plans and topographic profiles. Any swelling, any additional widening of grades, or any slopes that differ from the specifications listed on applicable drawings, shall not be measured nor paid. The unit of measure shall be cubic meters (m3). 2.3.

General excavation in rock. Refers to all excavations and leveling performed in rock above the finishing grade using explosives, hydraulic mortars, wedges, drills and/or hydraulic hammer. The Contractor’s Site Manager will define the necessary proof and tests for the determination of the required excavation. The unit price includes preliminary excavation tests, permits, licenses, notifications to local authorities, administrative procedures, required preliminary project manual, transport of machinery to and within the job site, positioning time for machinery, excavation, leveling, refining of slopes, compaction as per specifications, materials (explosives, mortars, wedges, hydraulic hammer, etc.), special machinery, safety requirements, and intermediate storage within the work site in the location specified by the Contractor’s Site Manager. For material that may be reused in the project, the price also includes cleaning, storage, and transport of the material to the location and in the manner specified by Contractor’s Site Manager. When required, the unit price also includes all timbering and shoring, and drainage of the terrain by whatever means is appropriate. Excavated volume will be measured in its natural state as shown on approved reference drawings and topographical profiles. Any swelling, any additional widening of grades, as well as any slopes that differ from the specifications listed on applicable drawings, shall not be measured nor paid. The unit of measurement shall be the cubic meter (m3).

2.4.

General backfilling and embankments. This work unit refers to excavations for large open areas to create a work explanation in required level.

Unit Price includes material supply, transport and intermediate storage within the work site, machinery, spreading and compaction of backfill in layers, irrigation, refining of the surface finish grade, refining of slopes, auxiliary means, safety requirements, in general, all required materials and labor for the correct completion of the required unit. The filling volume shall be measured as specified on approved drawings and the unit of measure shall be the cubic meter (m3). Backfilling due to any additional widening of grades, any slopes that are not as specified on approved drawings as well as the removal of excess material from construction of slopes, shall not be measured nor paid. 3.

PILING. Cut off and Plug. Even if this unit is executed by hand or with specialize machinery, this unit price includes machinery transport, intermediate movements, cutting and conditioning of reinforcement, load and transport of all the demolished material to an authorized exterior dump site, auxiliary means, tool and, in general, all materials and labor for the correct completion of the required unit. The plug of the piles will be executed in accordance with the provided detail. At the end of the works, the rebar has to be clean and in the right position. The unit of measurement shall be the unit (n) of piles as state in approved drawings.

4.

EARTHWORKS. 4.1.

Deep excavation. This refers to depth excavations for foundations, catch basins, pits, etc., performed below the elevation of the finishing grade with the machine shall be located outside of the area to be excavated. Unit Price includes transport of machinery to and within the job site, the positioning time for machinery, cutting and ripping, excavating, leveling, slope refining, irrigation, compaction as per specifications, safety requirements, and intermediate storage within the work site in the location specified by the Contractor’s Site Manager. When the excavation is performed in rock, the price also includes preliminary excavation tests, permits, licenses, notifications to local authorities, administrative procedures, required preliminary project manual, materials (explosives, mortars, wedges, hydraulic hammer, etc.), and special machinery. Rock excavation refers to the excavation executed with explosives, hydraulic mortar, wedges, drillings and/or hydraulic hammer, as specified by

Contractor Site Manager, who will decide the test to be carried out for the required excavation. For material that may be reused in the project, the price also includes cleaning, storage, and transport of the material to the location and in the manner specified by Contractor’s Site Manager. When required, the unit price also includes all timbering and shoring, and drainage of the terrain by whatever means is appropriate. Excavated volume will be measured in its natural state as shown on approved reference plans and topographical profiles, and measuring the sidewalls of the excavated area as vertical. Any swelling, any additional widening of grades, as well as any slopes that are not as specified on approved drawings, shall not be measured nor paid. The unit of measurement shall be the cubic meter (m3). 4.2.

Trench Excavation. This is defined as deep linear excavations for conduits, utilities, gutters, etc. Unit Price includes transport of machinery to and within work site, the positioning time for machinery, cutting and ripping, excavating, leveling, slope refining, irrigation, compaction as per specifications, safety requirements, and intermediate storage within the work site in the location specified by the Contractor’s Site Manager. When the excavation is performed in rock, the price also includes preliminary excavation tests, permits, licenses, notifications to local authorities, administrative procedures, required preliminary project manual, materials (explosives, mortars, wedges, hydraulic hammer, etc.), and special machinery. For material that may be reused in the project, the price also includes cleaning, storage, and transport of the material to the location and in the manner specified by Contractor’s Site Manager. When required, the unit price also includes all timbering and shoring, and drainage of the terrain by whatever means is appropriate. The unit of measurement shall be the cubic meter (m3) and excavated volumes will be measured in their natural state as shown on approved reference plans and measuring the sidewalls of the excavated area as vertical, except for conduits with diameter greater than 1,600 mm (see table). Any swelling, any excavation above those specified on plans, as well as any additional widths which differs from the table below, shall not be measured nor paid.

When laying a group of pipes, the values listed above apply to the pipes located at the extreme right and left of the group. Additional width values will not apply to the following: 4.3.

Large Open Excavation. This work unit refers to excavations for large open areas, basins, trenches, and foundations of great proportion, etc. performed below the elevation of the finish grade, with the machine located within the area to be excavated. The unit price includes material supply, transportation, intermediate storage, access ramp, spreading of backfill in layers, irrigation requirements, compaction of these layers, leveling, grading and compaction of surface finish grade, refining of slopes, required machinery, auxiliary means and, in general, all required materials and labor for the correct completion of all work. The filling volume shall be measured as specified on approved drawings and the unit of measure shall be the cubic meter (m3). Backfilling due to any additional widening of grades that are not as specified on approved drawings as well as the removal of excess material due to refining, shall not be measured nor paid

Backfilling with bituminous mixture in tank bases. The unit price includes material supply, transportation, intermediate storage, spreading, compaction, required machinery, auxiliary means and, in general, all required materials and labor for the correct completion of all work. The filling volume shall be measured as specified on approved drawings and the unit of measure shall be the cubic meter (m3).

4.9.

Backfilling in dikes for pools and basins. The unit price includes material supply, transportation, intermediate storage within the work site, machinery, spreading and compaction of backfill in layers, irrigation requirements, refining of surface finish grade and slopes, auxiliary means and, in general, all required materials and labor for the correct and completion of all work. The unit of measure shall be the cubic meter (m3) as stated on approved drawings. Backfilling due to unauthorized excavations or slopes, and the removal of excess material due to refining, and any other item not specified here is not be measurable and shall not be paid.

4.10.

Spreading material in non-paving area. 4.11.

Filling or backfilling due to any additional widening of grades that are not as specified on approved drawings as well as the removal of excess material from refining, shall not be measured nor paid. 4.12.

Backfilling with granular material for pavements, bases and subbases. The unit price includes supply, transportation, intermediate storage, spreading, irrigation, compaction, grading, machinery, auxiliary means and, in general, all required materials and labor for the correct completion of all work. 4.13.

Loading, transport and unload to storage area outside the work site. The unit price includes the loading, transport, and unloading of excess excavated material. Unloading should be outside of work site but within owner property bounds and within an authorized storage area. The unit of measure shall be the cubic meter (m3), measured as the difference between the excavated volume and the backfilling material from the excavation, in accordance with the system of measurement and payment. Bulking, swelling, or any increase in volume the material may experience during its transport, is not measurable and shall not be paid.

4.14.

Loading, transport and unloading to external dumping area. The unit price includes the loading, transport, unloading of excess excavated material in an authorized external dumping area, all costs associated with the obtaining of dumping permits, any dumping fees, maintenance and preparation of material, etc. The unit of measure shall be the cubic meter (m3), measured as the difference between the excavated volume and the backfilling material from the excavation, in accordance with the system of measurement and payment. Bulking, swelling, or any increase in volume the material may experience during its transport, is not measurable and shall not be paid.

5.

SMALL FOUNDATIONS. 5.1.

Small foundations and thickened slab footing, made of “in situ” reinforced concrete. This system of measurement and payment only concerns to small foundations (foots, sleepers, pipe and stair supports, etc.) and thickened slab footing to support equipment and pipes which volume is up to 1 m3.

6.

PRECAST CONCRETE STRUCTURES. 6.1.

Supply and mounting in workshop of steel corrugated rebar in precast elements. El unit price includes material workshop supply, transports and intermediate storage, fabrication (cutting and bending), mounting, manpower, tools, machinery, and, in general, all required materials and labor for the correct completion of all work. Spacers, any type, auxiliary items, restraining cable, overlaps and cutting are not measured and shall not be paid. Rebar for lap splicing will be considered as part of the structural element they belong. The unit of measure shall be the kilogram (kg), measured as is stated on approved drawings.

6.2.

Supply and mounting in workshop of embedded elements in precast concrete. The unit price includes supply of material in workshop, prefabrication, surface preparation (blasting), primer, installation, accurate surveying, temporary supports prior to concrete pouring, all templates (except for the turbines), drillings, formation of threaded holes, and any other requirement,

7.7.

Falsework. Falsework is a special structure used to support elevated formwork. The falsework shall be approved by Contractor’s Site Manager. The price includes prefabrication, supply, layout works and plotting, installation, shoring, bracing, removal of arch centering, cleaning and preparation, accessories, material for fastening, hand tools, machinery and, in general, all required materials and labor for the correct completion of all work. This unit shall be measured and charged by apparent cubic meter (m3). For measuring purposes, it will only be considered the horizontal projection of the formwork for the item to be arch centered. All costs arising from the false work required for safety issues, openings and others, must be included in the unit price. Those falseworks which support different structural elements will be measured only once.

7.8.

Lost formwork Deck type or similar. The unit price includes material supply, laying out and plotting, installation, shoring, bracing, manpower, accessories, material for fastening, connectors, trimming elements, tools, machinery and, in general, all required materials and labor for the correct completion of all work. The unit of measure shall be square meter (m2) of formwork in contact with concrete, and measured on approved drawings.

7.9.

Anchor boxes. The unit price includes layout works and plotting, supply and installation of formworks, removal of formworks, all required hand tools and accessories, auxiliary means, machinery, and any other requirement, regardless of nature, necessary for the correct installation of the required unit. The unit of measure shall be cubic decimeter (dm3) of anchor boxes executed, as is stated on approved drawings.

7.10.

Rebar and welded wire mesh. 7.13.

Piping embedded in reinforced concrete for conduits or drainage. The unit price includes the material supply, installation, layout works and plotting, temporary supports, accessories, joints (elastic joint can be glued or not), lubricants, hand tools, auxiliary means and, in general, all required materials and labor for the correct completion of all work. In case of conduits, unit price shall include the supply and erection of cable pulling guides. The unit of measure shall be the lineal meter to axes of the pipeline (lm) of correctly installed piping, as specified on approved drawings.

7.14.

The unit price includes the material supply, layout works and plotting, excavation, backfill, formation of lean concrete base, plaster coating on interior and polishing (on block and brick pits), repair of damages (in concrete), sloping of the interior (bottom) of the pit, framing, covers (made of concrete, steel or cast), embeddings, steel rungs, anchorage, surface preparation (blasting), priming and paint of steel elements, sleeves for conduits (when the conduits are within the scope of work of the Subcontractor), all required hand tools and machinery, auxiliary and secondary equipment (scaffolding, etc.) and any other requirement, regardless of nature, necessary for the correct installation of the required unit. The unit of measure is cubic meter (m3) of concrete used for the catch basin, manhole or pit, as is stated on approved drawings. The cubic meter (m3) unit rate shall be considered as an all-inclusive rate, including all above mentioned items. 8.2.

Clean outs. 10. UNDERGROUND PIPING AND ELECTRICAL. 10.1.

Underground piping. This unit price includes the material supply, layout works and plotting, wedges, spacers, special pieces, accessories, joints (elastic joints could be glued or not), lubricants, tools, auxiliary means, machinery and, in general, all required materials and labor for the correct completion of all work. In case of conduits, unit price shall include the supply and erection of cable pulling guides.

In case pressure piping and Glass Fiber Piping (GRP), the unit price shall include hydrotesting, execution of chemical joints/chemical lamination, pumping and measuring equipment, dismantling and reinstallation of sensitive accessories, supply, installation and dismantling of temporal accessories (blind caps, temporary spools, filters, etc.) The unit of measure shall be the lineal meter (lm) of piping correctly installed, theoretical measurement in approved drawings considering the axes of the pipe. 10.2.

Warning system for underground conduits or pipes. The unit price includes the material supply, installation, overlaps, tools, auxiliary means, and, in general, all required materials and labor for the correct completion of all work. The unit of measure shall be the square meter (m2) of warning system installed, as specified on approved drawings, multiplying the width by the length.

11. MASONRY. 11.1.

Drilled Openings. Price includes layout works and plotting, drilling equipment (including transportation to job site, positioning and repositioning, spare parts, etc.), supply of electricity and water from work site connection points, loading and transportation of debris to an authorized external dump site (including all operations required for the removal of debris of high altitude work), dumping fees and permits, auxiliary requirements (scaffolding, etc.) and, in general, all required materials and labor for the correct completion of all work. The unit of measure shall be as established in the Schedule of Rates (Unitary Prices). Only items actually completed by the Subcontractor, as measured on approved drawings, shall be chargeable.

11.2.

Concrete blocks masonry. The unit price includes the layout works and plotting, material supply, manpower, formation and sealing of joints, joint cleaning and, in general, all required materials and labor for the correct completion of all work. 11.3.

Brick masonry. 11.14.

Metallic louver. 11.15.

11.17.

Industrial doors (rolling, overhead, sliding). This unit price refers to a door of high dimension, used for the passing of merchandise, machinery, vehicles, etc. Usually industrial doors are rolling, overhead, sliding type and may have a pedestrian door embedded and may be manual and electrical. The unit price includes the material supply, plotting, execution of workshop drawings, fastening and sealing elements, frames, jambs, special pieces, accessories, surface treatment (blasting+ priming / hot dip galvanizing), finishing, hinges, locks, louver and glass works (according with specification and drawings, depending on the type of door), engine and connections, manual blocking system, bottom driving, guides and counterweight. The unit price includes site unloading, intermediate transportation inside work site, auxiliary means (scaffolding, etc), machinery, tools, welding, sealing, touch-up of paint, special pieces, accessories, auxiliary structure to the installation, fastening and trimming elements. The unit of measure shall be the square meter (m2) of installed industrial door, as specified in the approved drawings.

11.18.

Windows. The unit price includes the material supply, plotting, execution of workshop drawings, fastening and sealing elements, frames, jambs, special pieces, accessories, surface treatment (blasting+ priming / hot dip galvanizing), finishing, hinges, locks, louver and glass works (according with specification and drawings, depending on the type of door). The unit of measure shall be the square meter (m2) of installed window, as specified in the approved drawings. 12. URBANIZATION. 12.1.

12.2.

Vertical signposting. The unit price includes supply, excavation, backfilling, loading and transporting to an authorized dumping area, dumping fees, complete foundation, tools, auxiliary means, machinery and, in general, all required materials and labor for the correct completion of all work. The unit of measure is the unity (n) of installed signposting as specified on approved drawings.

13. FENCING. 13.1.

Temporary fencing. The unit price includes material supply, installation, concrete footing, metal bands (clamps), accessories, tools, auxiliary means, machinery and, in general, all required material and labor for the correct completion of all work. The unit of measure is the lineal meter (lm) of installed fence as specified on approved drawings.

13.2.

Permanent fencing. The price includes material supply, excavation, backfilling and filling, concrete pouring, clamps, accessories, earthing, tools, auxiliary means, machinery and, in general, all required material and labor for the correct completion of all work.. The unit of measure is the lineal meter (lm) of installed fence, as specified on approved drawings.

13.3.

Access elements in fencing The price includes material supply, layout works and plotting, installation, lock, all hardware required for hanging, elements for opening (wheels, guides, rails, etc.) tools, auxiliary means, machinery and, in general all required material and labor for the correct completion of all work.. The unit of measure is the unity (n) or installed access elements, as specified on approved drawings.

14. BUILDINGS AND INSTALLATIONS. 14.1.

Buildings. The unit price includes all the necessary civil works for the correct completion of all work for buildings. The sanitary installation, plumbing, finishing, steel structures, electricity, lighting, grounding and lightning, firefighting installation and telecom pre-installation are also include in the unit price. Telecom works (additional to above mentioned), HVAC, electrical and instrumental works for the equipment that will be installed inside the building and the transformer’s yard, shall not be included in the measurement and unit price. The unit of measure shall be the square meter (m2) of constructed building, as specified on approved drawings and taking the following additional points into consideration: -

The total measurement will be the sum of building of same category according to the Bill of Quantities. The building shall be measured as the vertical projection of each floor slab, considering the outer side of the facade. Holes greater than 2 m2 will be discounted, except for stairways. Steel structures (outers and inners) are not measured additionally, but shall be included in the unit price. 14.2.

Transformer Yards. The unit price includes all the necessary civil works for the correct completion of all work for transformer yards. The drainage installation, piping, oil pits, finishing, steel structures, sunshades, electricity, lighting, grounding and lightning, firefighting installation are also included in the unit price. Electrical, instrumental works for the equipment and Transformer Installation regarding the Transformer Yard shall not be included in unit prices. The unit of measure shall be the square meter (m2) of Transformer Yard, as specified on approved drawings and taking the following additional points into consideration: -

The total measurement will be the sum of all Transformer Yards. Holes greater than 2 m2 will be discounted, except for stairways. Steel structures (outers and inners) are not measured additionally, but shall be included in the unit price. The transformer’s yard shall be measured as the vertical projection of the area, from the fencing axes line to the outer façade of the building.

14.3.

Heat Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system. The unit price includes all required materials and labor for the correct completion of all work (materials, equipment, electricity, instrumentation, electrical panels, draining, piping, supports, etc. of the HVAC system) and

ten (10) meters of general service wires and including all required testing, start-up activities and all required spare parts, manuals and quality dossiers. This unit of measure is the Lump Sum (LS) of installed HVAC system. 15. MISCELLANEOUS. 15.1.

Geotextiles. The unit price includes material supply, manpower, grip, overlaps, any additional widening, cuttings and cropping, tools, machinery, auxiliary means, and, in general, all required materials and labor for the correct completion of all work. The unit of measure is the square meter (m2) as specified on approved drawings.

16. OTHER TYPES OF WORK UNITS. For any type of work not previously listed in this document, criteria of the Contractor’s Site Manager shall apply.

C. HOURLY RATES. 1.

General. The Subcontractor shall not begin any work using Hourly Rates without prior written approval by Contractor’s Site Manager. Any unauthorized or additional work performed without written approval shall not be measured nor paid. The Contractor’s Site Manager will expect on receiving a level of production officially recognized in each and every aspect of labor and machinery operation. Contractor will only accept for reviewing and signing, when applicable, those time sheets which have been turned in up to 24 hours following the completion of the work to which they apply. All charges for Hourly Rates shall be paid using the same payment conditions as other work units in the subcontract. Under no circumstances will special terms or conditions of payment be accepted. For the purpose of measurement and payment of Hourly Rates, the following conditions apply to the different hourly classifications:

Normal Hours: Refers to the first ten (10) hours of each workday, from (and including) Saturday, through (and including) Thursday.

b.

Overtime Hours: Refers to any additional hours completed during the abovementioned description.

c.

Holiday Hours: Refers to the twenty-four (24) hour period of Friday and official local holidays celebrated in the province where the project shall be completed.

Labor. These prices include all levels of supervision above the level of Foreman, tools, safety and security items, transportation to/from and within work site, wear and tear of tools and depreciation costs, standard consumables (welding materials, gases, etc.), travel, per-diem, general costs, profit, insurance, salaries, bonuses, social securities, taxes, and any other type of charge which can, for whatever reason, affect the cost of the item.

Machinery. Prices refer only to production work hours. Any loss of time due to equipment breakdown, transit time for transportation from point of origin to work site, transport back to point of origin, or any other circumstances that may affect the work to be accomplished are not chargeable and will not be paid. Price includes: Transportation costs to/from and within work site, fuel, lubricants, maintenance, repair, wear and tear of machinery and depreciation costs, taxes, general costs, and the cost of any other equipment, tools or accessories which are

not specified in the Schedule of Rates but may be required for the completion of the work that has been requested. For mobile machinery and transportation vehicles, price includes driver, operator, as well as auxiliary personnel required for its operation. 4.

Material. Prices are for material delivered to the job site in the place specified by Contractor’s Site Manager, and include general costs, profit, insurance, bonuses, taxes, transportation to and within work site, safety and security items, and any other type of charge which can, for whatever reason, affect the cost of the item. For any other type of material received that has not been covered herein and is intended for use at the work site, payment will be as stipulated on the purchase invoice plus a 10% mark up for handling costs and profit, but must have been previously approved in writing by the Contractor’s Site Manager.

SCHEDULE OF RATES. The Subcontractor should complete, in it’s entirety, the following list of Unit Prices and Hourly Rates. Consideration should be given to definitions listed in specifications and Technical Requisitions, as well as the following: 1.

Unit Prices. Supply: Comprises all the costs associated with the supply and delivery of permanent materials (by work unit) to the work site. This includes general costs and profit. Erection: Comprises all costs of direct labor for a work unit. It includes unloading of material, intermediate transportation within work site, consumable material, temporary installations and facilities, all running costs, work costs, erection equipment costs (i.e. scaffolding, cranes, machinery, tools, etc.), indirect personnel, general costs and profit.

2.

Hourly Rates. It includes all costs applicable to each work unit, including indirect personnel, general costs and profit.

If the Subcontractor wishes to provide to any amplifying information to this price list it should be submitted in a separate sheet attached to this document. Prices will be entered using two position decimal points (hundredths) only. All other decimal values will be rounded up to the nearest hundredth.
