It was the prize for Best Score and it was awarded to the romanticcomedy, Leo and Sue, for its excellent soundtrack. The celebrity who presented the award admitted that this soundtrack had made him want to dance when he first heard it. Then, to the delight of the audience, he started dancing on stage and the crowd loved it We moved on to the Best Costume Design award, which went to John Jones, the costume designer on the historical drama, Family Tree, whose costumes have started new trends across Europe and America. In his acceptance speech, Jones said that his grandmother’s style had inspired his designs, and he dedicated the award to her. The award for Best Screenplay was given to the writers of the teenage adventure film, Fifteen Teens, whose script was praised for being original and funny. The two writers were asked whether it had been difficult to work together on the script. They agreed that it had been a challenge at times, but insisted that they had respected each other’s opinions and cooperated fully. It was a night to remember, and that’s all from me until next year’s film festival. © Macmillan Publishers Limited 2015 1 The award for Best Make-up went to ______. a) Leo and Sue b) Exciting Times c) Family Tree 2 What kind of film was Leo and Sue? a) a romantic comedy b) an action film c) a historical drama 3 The presenter said the Leo and Sue soundtrack had made him want to ______. a) laugh b) cry c) dance 4 Where have the designs of John Jones started a trend?
