Method Statement

Purpose and Scope of the Work  The Scope & Purpose of this Method Statements is BPS Substation Control System(SCS Siemens) to ICC SCADA Testing(Thales)

Method of Work Access SCS Gateway IPC from EPC/HMI PC with administrator credentials. Simulates the BPS Measurement Values & Signals from Gateway /field and monitored at BPS SCS & Communicating with Thales Engineer for Measurements & Signals Received at Thales SCADA for verification. All IEC Address to be tested & verified from BPS SCS Data base to Thales(SCADA) as per Thales IO mapping list.

Emergency Procedure

 In case of an emergency ,PIC should inform the ICC Line Controller occur about the situation and the staff/work party already instructed the safety training before entering /working at the work site .that when emergency occur work party shall leave immediately leave the work site & Proceed to stay assembly point

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)  PPE should be complied as per site activity.  Helmet, Safety Shoes, Safety Goggles, Reflecter Vest

Tools, Plant and Equipmen  Multimeter, Laptop, Lan cables

Environmental Aspects and Impacts  All personnel should apply Health and Sanitation requirements and maintain a good housekeeping on site.  Scope of Work is SCS Testings. This don not have any enviormental impact .However all material/Equipment will be manage accordingly and PIC will ensure proper housekeeping all the time

Worksite Arrangement  Book in to the Security Supervisor on duty/SM & Book into the ICC  PIC has to perform the toolbox talk to the work group and define the risk Assessment and how to recover it, in order to ensure that risk Assessment will be followed.  PIC will make sure to check the PPE’s of the workgroup

10. Handback Arrangement  Before leaving the worksite, PIC/work party will do the proper housekeeping, ensure no waste and trash are left on the worksite. After performing proper housekeeping PIC will call ICC and book-out with ICC.
